I would like to play music using R. While R may not be the best tool for this purpose, it is the tool that I am familiar with and it would be nice to demonstrate to others its flexibility on such a joyous occasion.

SoulTrackers have been telling us that they love it when we post about the birthdays of their favorite artists. We can hold a party at our facility starting at up to 12 children that is an action-packed party! We will facilitate 2 hours of fun and learning with a music-themed craft, dancing, singing and rock band instrument play. The main entertainment is designed after our Little Wing class, just a little less instruction and a few more high-energy activities.

Our time begins with targeted music-themed games that will assist with rhythm, timing, ear training and working as a team. The birthday kid gets to choose the song they will learn, OR we can suggest songs that have been party favourites.

Since we stumbled on our party theme from Etsy, we had the best time adding in all of the details to coordinate. We used these adorable music sticks everywhere from the flower arrangements to the favor bowls and more. We hung this welcome sign on a boxwood wreath with lots of colorful ribbon to welcome friends into the party, ordered festive linens from CV Linens, and we scattered music note confetti all over the place.

Since we always love balloons for parties, Ellen made balloon garland for the party and we tied these music notes to balloons throughout the house. It was very festive and an easy way to bring a lot of color into our home!

For party favors, we made goodie bags with bubbles with personalized wrap from Etsy, animal crackers, music note-shaped crayons, a coloring book, and maracas! We ordered custom favor tags to personalize the bags, and they were super easy to make.

We ordered a mix of toy musical instruments for the kids to play with, and they had so much fun with with these. You can find so many child-sized guitars, tambourines, maracas, etc for a steal on Amazon, and they were a fun addition to the backyard bikes and trampoline for the children to play with.

Keeping with theme, we brought a mix of photos from Pinterest of cakes we loved + one of our Etsy decor items to a local caterer, and she created the perfect birthday cake for Frances! It was so special, plus it was delicious too!

Today in 1947, Michael John Kells (Mick) Fleetwood was born. He is best known as the drummer, co-founder, and leader of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Born in Redruth, Cornwall, Fleetwood lived in Egypt and Norway for much of his childhood. Choosing to follow his musical interests, Fleetwood travelled to London at the age of 15, eventually forming the first incarnation of Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer and Bob Brunning. His surname was merged with that of the group's bassist John "Mac" McVie to form the name of the band. After several album releases and line-up changes, the group moved to the United States in 1974. Fleetwood then invited Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks to join. Fleetwood's own determination to keep the band together was essential to the band's longevity. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac in 1998.

1967 - The Monkees went to No. 1 on the U.S. album charts with Headquarters, the group's third chart topper. The album was the first with substantial songwriting and instrumental performances by members of the group itself, rather than by session musicians and professional songwriters. As of 2008, Headquarters had sold seven million copies in the United States and achieved global sales of 11.6 million. It is included in the 2006 book 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

To me, this is a song you have to listen to without the music video to fully digest. Trying to listen for the first with all of the theatrics of the video just was too much stimuli at one time. Did anyone see a crying gingerbread man or was that just me?

ALSO how tf are songs like Hype Boy, Attention, After Like, and Love Dive trending and SM takes inspo from the STYLING for RV (particularly I noticed Joy and Seulgi, who looked drop dead gorgeous btw, were styled similarly to Hype Boy/Attention specifically) and not the MUSIC. Red Velvet would absolutely kill that style and instead SM gives them NCT music smh ??
