How do I update the mouse app

The site I installed from has the older version of the app and it will not start on my Fire tv which I have just updated no matter how many times I turn ADB debugging on and off.

I will use Showbox HD as an example because this app is not remote-compatible. Also, please note that Showbox is no longer functional. However, the demonstration applies to any app that requires a mouse pointer.

This blog demonstrated how to install Mouse Toggle on FireStick. Mouse Toggle allows you to use those apps on FireStick that are otherwise incompatible. When the mouse pointer appears on the screen, you can move it around using the navigation button on the remote. You can reach out to items within an incompatible app that the regular remote function cannot. Mouse Toggle is a lightweight app, and every FireStick user must have it.

Is anyone else having problems running nose toggle with the new cube I've tried the new remote the old remote from 2nd gen cube the curser doesn't show even when app shows started I've been using an old soundbar remote that came with a USB dongle for mouse functions I miss the convenience of the app

I tried this app on a new fire cube and it never started (yes I tried disabling enabling etc), then when I uninstalled the app it corrupted all my other apps and I had to do a factory reset, if anyone reads this DO NOT INSTALL IT

Before you open the Mouse Toggle application, you must make one change to your Firestick settings. ADB Debugging needs to be turned to ON in order for the virtual mouse to work. Follow the instructions in the video or the written guide below instead.

Within the application is an option to turn ON or OFF the mouse service when you start up your Firestick. This is set to ON as a default. However, if you prefer you can select the toggle option to turn it OFF.

FireTV Stick is the best device to stream Movies, Live Channels, TV Shows, News and so on. Although some apps might require a touch device or a mouse cursor. At this point, Mouse Toggle on Firestick is the only app that can be used to solve that problem.

After reading the above section you surely learn the worth of having this app for those who use 3rd-party apps. So, if you want to know how to install the Mouse toggle on Firestick then here is the complete guide that you should keep reading.

Although you are now able to use it on your device because the app is already installed on your device. But still, there are a few things that you need to learn. Just follow the below section to learn how to set up the mouse toggle.

Once this app is started just go back to the home screen and launch any app where you want to use the mouse in my case it is Rec. After this, you need to press the Play button twice and then you notice a round circle appears there.

Scrolling the screen on a FireTV using the Mouse toggle is different as you cannot directly use the navigation keys for this. These keys are only used to navigate from one option to another but they cannot be used for scrolling up or down.

To scroll the screen with a mouse toggle you need to open that app and bring the mouse cursor by pressing the Home button twice. Once the cursor is visible there now simply press the Fast Forward button to enable Scroll Wheel down.

Yes, Mouse Toggle is safe and secure to use as we are not doing anything wrong. It is just an app that creates a virtual cursor on the TV to use as a mouse. Although it is available on Google Play Store and several other stores that prove it is legal and safe.

Greetings!

I recently got my hands on the Hind, which has an alternate fire mode.

The primary fire is a burst that fires three shots, while the alternate fire is a single but more powerful shot. The weapon is awesome but the problem is that it feels awkward to use.

Let me explain; I use a Razer Deathadder which has a manufacturing problem where the third mouse button (pressing the scroll wheel) stops functioning. I could see myself use it without any problems, but I had to remap it to mouse button 4, which is one of the buttons on the side. The problem is that when I press that button, the mouse moves, which makes me miss that alternate fire shot! It also feels very awkward...

I've looked around the options to see if there were any "toggle alternate fire" buttons anywhere. But there is none. I've also googled which just confirms that there is none.

So I'm here to ask about how some of you have it set up? Where do you have the alternate fire button?

Also, I hope it's alright to ask about this; I wonder if any of you use any third party programs (luckily, I'm playing warframe on a PC), which I can use to change my hotkeys on the fly. I'd imagine it would feel great to have it change my primary fire to alternate fire on the scroll wheel. Scroll up = primary fire on left mouse. Scroll down = alternate fire on left mouse. It would kinda be like a real gun.

Cheers!

TL DR: Any suggestions on a comfortable alternate fire button?

Have you tried binding the secondary fire on the keyboard? and easily accessible key like... dunno, C or Q ? or the \ (the thing before the 1 in my case) Seems strange but i have some friends that somehow play with some keybinds that would shock a contortionist, and they are still capable than playing like veterans.

But I'm not accusing anyone so you don't have to defend - ... oh it's just a meme lol.

Yeah I tried, and I have to side with the contortionist. It works but it feels awkward. My right hand is what I use to shoot, not the left.

So it boils down to four options..:

1) Buy new mouse.

2) Have inaccurate shots.

3) Get used to shooting with my left hand.

4) If it doesn't conflict with any of Warframes terms of service, use a program that switches the keybindings so I can get it how I want.

But seriously, I think this was a stupid question overall. It's just a matter of taste. Thank you very much for your time guys ?

Edit: Is there anything I can click to mark this post as answered?

As he said. Switch between modes with middle mouse button. I'd stay away from third party software potentially interfering with the games memory.. can trigger an auto ban. Never know with some programs, some does things you wouldnt really know it did

I skipped most of the posts. I had a problem with alt-fire too. I went into the options>controls>key binding and now I activate my alt fire with [tab] (I didn't need the view progress report thingy). You can re-map alt fire to any key you like.

Cosidering how you imagined it would be nice to have your scroll wheel switch modes, I assume you don't use your wheel. If so, then you might try binding the wheel straight to alt fire. There is 2 keys available for each action in the keybinds.

I have wheeldown bound to reload and wheelup bound to fire primary (left click is fire too), so I can shoot and reload with Tigris by scrolling up and down. Takes a minute to get used to, but lets me keep all of my left hand on WASD. And yes, it reloads automatically after firing, but forcing reload makes it reload faster.

I'm trying to get the Dropbox app working on an Amazon fire stick. There's no way to do so via conventional means. That is, there doesn't appear to be a formal application release for the fire stick. But the fire stick is an Android device and one can install Dropbox "manually" (i.e., by allowing installation from external sources, finding an .apk and installling). When I do so, Dropbox indeed installs. I can even login. But after that, the menu buttons don't work and it's impossible to navigate. It's not functional at all. I'd love to hear if someone brighter than I has figured this out.

Yes, the problem persists after re-installing Dropbox on my fire stick. But I found a solution. Problem solved. I can navigate the Dropbox app on my fire stick if I install the Mouse Toggle for Fire TV app per these instructions. This little app turns the fire stick remote (after fast double-clicking the play button) into a mouse. Then with the mouse functionality enabled, I can scroll through and work with the Dropbox app on the fire stick without a problem. A second working solution is/was to install a third party file exploring app--one that lets one connect to a cloud storage account. At this writing, ES Explorer is Amazon's default suggested file management app. But I don't recommend it. It's pricey. I much prefer Solid Explorer where this version installed okay on my fire stick.

Step 20: In the Downloader app, go to Home, and on the URL bar, enter this URL For Fire Stick Gen 1 & 2, Fire TV 1 & 2, Fire TV Cube bit.ly/mouse-345

Any (not officially meant for fire tv) android app you sideload into a fire tv will try landscape mode if available, and if it does, looks fine. Otherwise you get the disproportionate stretched portrait view. ff782bc1db
