I have a Honda Civic that is old enough that it does not have any tech (no CarPlay, no bluetooth, etc.) I would like to mirror my iPhone map apps (Google Maps & Apple Maps) to an iPad mounted on my dashboard to get a larger map display.

iPhone and iPad do not support screen mirroring between iOS/iPadOS devices. As many Apps are supported by the two platforms, where the same App can be run on both devices, mirroring is effectively pointless.

So I found that LotusPilot had helped another person with a similar request as mine. So all I want to do is view my iPhone camera on my iPad. LotusPilot had suggested an app called Camera Plus, lo and behold I had bought this app long ago and have not used it since buying my iPhone 13 Pro. And to add to my luck it does indeed do exactly what I wanted which is to mirror my iphone camera to the iPad :)

Thanks for leaving feedback. Sad when people are looking for a solution and others that don't require the solution laugh and think it is funny. Takes all kinds I guess. I mean really all they need to do is port the iWatch "camera remote app" so it works with the ipad/iphone.

A few months ago I tried to take a selfie of myself wearing a shirt that had text on it - and due to the way the front-facing camera works, the text appeared mirrored. I looked online and found that there is a toggle in the settings app to mirror the front camera. Toggling this, however, had no effect on the front camera. Today I tried to do the same thing, and it still doesn't mirror the image. I've tried to switch the toggle a few times, looking at what the picture looks like in each setting but it appears to have no change on my pictures. I even tried factory resetting my phone to see if that would work, and that didn't solve the issue either. Perhaps there's a conflicting setting somewhere causing my issue? Do I misunderstand what this setting does?

Having the Mirror Front Camera feature enabled on an iPhone 13 will take your selfie photo with the image displaying as if you were looking into a mirror. This means any text on your shirt would appear backward, as if you were looking at yourself in a mirror.

Apple support. Please bring back the option of front mirror camera in any device as long as their software is ios 14. I know its capable because during beta it works on iphone 6s and up. So why did you remove? Such a shame!

Such a shame that Apple is not allowing this feature to older devices. While obviously, it did work in beta version for older devices, and it is fully capable of supporting this mirroring feature. They should really get it back with the new update.

Mirroring your iPhone on a TV or computer is a great way to share your photos, videos, and updates with other people during a presentation or family gathering. You may also want to enjoy media from your device on a larger screen one nice Saturday night. This article provides a guide on how to mirror an iPhone to a TV. Additionally, it presents instructions for using Chromecast or Roku to mirror the iPhone screen on a TV.

Open the Control Center on your iPhone to mirror your iPhone to a Roku device. Then tap the Screen Mirroring button and select your Roku device from the list that pops up. Finally, enter the code that appears on your TV into your iPhone and tap OK.

Now you know how to connect iPhone to TV as well as how to mirror iPhone to Roku and how to enable Chromecast iPhone functionality. If you experience any problems, simply connect the iPhone to an HDMI-enabled TV. To further enhance your mirroring experience and ensure seamless streaming, consider using NetSpot. This powerful tool helps optimize your Wi-Fi network, ensuring a stable internet connection.

I have my mobile me email account but I also have 2 business email accounts that are linked to my Mac as well as my iPhone 4s. BUT the iCloud mobile me email is ok but my 2 business emails do not mirror at all. iPhone and Mac are completely separate.

Are you just looking at the screen to take the photo, or are you looking at the actual photo that you took? I did not have mirror turned on and took a photo. Then I turned mirror on and took a photo. It was easy for me to see since I have a shirt on that has something written on it. It worked just find for me. However, when lining up to take the photo, I cannot see a difference on the screen.

I have a new Samsung TV and went to use the mirror function on the television. I do not have Apple TV, but would like to mirror my phone directly to the television. Is there a specific app I must use for my Apple iPhone to work with the Samsung TV?

IM sure you have figured it out by now but you DONT need Apple TV to mirror on a Samsung tv. There is an app you can get that allows for mirroring. There are two apps, one is 2.0 and the other is a 1.0. Depending on the model and year of the Samsung tv, either one will work just fine.

Apple released iPadOS, an entirely new operating system built just for iPad, in 2019. While this operating system looks and feels very similar to iOS, there are a few visual differences that accommodate the larger iPad screen. Luckily, screen mirroring an iPad is still simple and easy. You can read the step-by-step guide and watch the how-to video for the new iPadOS 17 here.

Introduced with macOS Monterey in 2021, AirPlay to Mac is a feature that allows iPhones and iPads to share content to Mac computers. This functionality is wireless and allows for screen mirroring between some Apple devices. AirPlay to Mac is limited to the Apple ecosystem and is compatible with only a handful of specific Apple devices and operating systems. Compare all screen mirroring features, device compatibility and watch the complete breakdown video between AirPlay to Mac and Reflector here.

However, with a simple app for your computer called Reflector, you can screen mirror as many devices as you want to the same display. Just make sure Reflector software is running on a Mac/Windows computer and use an HDMI cable to connect your computer to the TV or other display. Your mirrored content will then appear on that display.

Many schools and businesses need to wirelessly share content from iPhone and iPad to larger screens while meeting or collaborating. A quick and, most importantly, user-friendly way to accomplish this is with Ditto screen mirroring. Ditto provides an easy way to instantly and wirelessly share one or more iPhones/iPads to Apple TV- or Windows-connected displays.

Hello, I'm struggling - I have heaps of Apps and have spent a lot of time organising them all into folders on my iPhone. I now want that to be mirrored on my iPad. This used to be done with iTunes but now I have no idea. Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for replying - I realise some apps don't work on both but it seems logical that common ones would copy the folder allocation... That would make life SOOOOO much easier. As it is, my Apps are in different folders on each device because there are heaps and when I set each device up, I can't recall where I put them on the other device. I reckon to manually mirror them, it could take me a couple of frustrating hours :(

Air display is by far the best app out there for mirroring or creating an extra screen with your iOS device. I looked at all flavors of VNC/DNS. VNC is for screen sharing and the results don't exactly make you cheerful. Air Display uses your iOS device as an extra screen like your desktop setup. $9.99 is premium pricing but well worth it. There are many uses for the app after you buy it. Check out their site here:

However, as soon as I switch the iPhone to standby (iPhone screen off) and go back to the Figma app, which remained open, the screen in the app turns black. So I have to leave the screen in the app again and restart the mirroring. Every time from scratch. This is very annoying. Am I using the product incorrectly or do we have a bug here?

How can I screen mirror the iphone to the iMac? I have seen this done in some videos, but never in person. When connected by wire to the iMac I would expect this to be an option. I also cannot understand why I can screen mirror wirelessly to a non-Apple TV, but I can't do that to another Apple device easily or at all.

If those are the steps you are following, we advise that you review the troubleshooting found in this support article: If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device - Apple Support. Follow this guidance:

My set-up is simple. Macbook pro connected to a projector via VGA. I've created another desktop (i.e. added a "space"), dubbed "Desktop 2. Is there a way that I can have my Desktop 2 constantly being mirrored and routed to the projector, while I still work within Desktop 1? ff782bc1db
