Revealing the details about his role in Saudagar, Govind Namdev said when he got the role, it was quite big and then later director Subhash Ghai chopped off the entire role. By then, he had already told the entire world that I was working with big personalities like Dilip Kumar, Raaj Kumar and Subhash Ghai.

Speaking exclusively to WION, Indian rapper-turned-entrepreneur King and famous YouTuber Raj Shamani opened up about their latest collaboration Blanko and shared tips that can help people manage their finances or build D2C brands from scratch.

Calls is a groundbreaking, immersive television experience based on the buzzy French series of the same name, masterfully using audio and minimal abstract visuals to tell nine bone-chilling, short-form stories. Directed by Fede lvarez, each episode follows a darkly dramatic mystery that unfolds through a series of seemingly average, unconnected phone conversations that quickly become surreal as the characters lives are thrown into growing disarray.

The lyrics of the song are mostly the same sung by King, to which Nick has lent his vocal prowess and added lyrics in English. Nick can also be heard singing the hook line 'Tu Maan Meri Jaan' at one point. The American pop star took to Instagram, where he shared the revamped version and captioned it: "Let's get it!! 'Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)' with @ifeelking is out now." King commented: "Today is the day Ill never forget. Thanks brother. Every time Im' listening to this 100% goosebumps... Lets gooo"

Some straight guys worry they might be the object of some man's affection.

Insecurity drives a lot of really poor decision-making. I think as long as you can be confident and comfortable in your own skin and who you are then you don't really have to be worried about that.

When I talked to Joe he said he was working on music with you. He also alluded to the possibility of there being a Jonas Brothers reunion down the line, saying, "It could easily happen." What's the status on the new music? And how do you feel about a Jonas reunion?

Well, he and I live together now. We just moved in together actually. So yeah, we have a music room in the house and we're always writing, whether it's for us, for (his band) DNCE, for my stuff, or just writing for other people. I'm definitely trying to always create. But I'm not sure about a Jonas Brothers reunion. I think that we're all very happy doing our own thing. And our oldest brother, Kevin, is expecting another baby with his wife, so it's exciting times for everybody.

Following in the footsteps of some defiant tour cancellations in North Carolina to protest the state's "bathroom bill," you and your tour-mate Demi Lovato also took a stand, nixing both of your dates in the state. Why did you decide to cancel your shows there instead of, say, going the route that Cyndi Lauper did, which was to keep the show but donate the proceeds to LGBT causes?

It's an incredibly tough situation overall and one that we thought really hard about. Speaking with Demi and the whole team, the thought was, we needed to do our best to take a strong stand, and although it's difficult and it's gonna be a disappointment to our fans who were looking forward to the shows, we feel that it's the right thing to do. Sometimes you gotta go with your gut feeling and do your best to help a situation. Hopefully our fans understand and stand with us. We're trying to do our humble part. A change would be good.

New Delhi: He gained the spotlight with his song 'Tu Aake Dekhle' in 2020 and then followed the roaring success of 'Oops' and 'Maan Meri Jaan'. King has now become a global name after his track 'Maan Meri Jaan' was recreated by American pop star Nick Jonas, who the rapper "manifested" working with.

Talking to IANS about how it was to work with Nick, King, whose real name is Arpan Chandel said: "Obviously amazing. I have been a fan of him...Even when I was not doing music, I have been a fan of him since then."

It's nothing less than magic for the 24-year-old rapper, who wowed everyone with his maiden appearance on the first season of the hip-hop reality show 'MTV Hustle'.

"So I had manifestation that I would work with him and it happened. It feels like magic."

Walking down the memory lane on how it all happened with Nick Jonas, he said: "I was touring last season and Jay Mehta was the MD of Warner music India, he's like a big brother and he called and said Nick Jonas wants to do a track, a global version of 'Maan Meri Jaan' and I was like happy and I said lock it."

"So, when the first scratch came Nick Jonas sent and then I loved it. It happened very smoothly there is not a big back story to it. It's just when you get good artistes things automatically happen very nicely."

"Nick is phenomenal artistes. I have been a fan of him since very long and he understand very well."

'Maan Meri Jaan' is from King's album 'Champagne Talk', which was about a love lost because of a misunderstanding. The song was on Billboard India at the No. 1 spot. In March 2023, the global version 'Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)', which currently has over 6,081,565 views since it dropped in March 10.

"Maan Meri Jaan (Afterlife)' is a global version and 'Maan Meri Jaan' was made for the Hindi core audience... It is going really well and it's going better than what I had expected. My expectations are a hundred so its going above that."

When asked what was the reason behind the mega success of 'Maan Meri Jaan', pat came the reply: "Simplicity."

Who is King looking forward to work with after Nick Jonas? He said American rapper Jack Harlow.

Nick Jonas is a seasoned veteran when it comes to the world of entertainment, with his career on stage, screen and streaming services recently ticking into its 22nd year. Which is all the more incredible when you remember the man born Nicholas Jerry Jonas in Dallas, Texas has only been on Planet Earth for 28 years. In that time he's evolved from the super driven seven-year-old appearing on Broadway to the de facto leader of Disney-promoted, purity ring-wearing family boyband The Jonas Brothers to, more recently, the buzzcut and bomber jacket-sporting solo star. In-between all that has been acting roles (Jumanji) and TV judging spots (The Voice), as well as a hugely successful Jo-Bro reunion and a high-profile marriage to actor Priyanka Chopra.

We [the Jonas Brothers] had just wrapped up our tour, so we were looking forward to some downtime, although we couldn't have imagined it would go on as long as it did. It's been bizarre. I've spent so much of my life travelling and doing different things. That part of it I was OK with [losing], because I understand the importance of all of us staying home, but I also just really missed the action, things happening. It's nice that it's starting to feel like life is getting back to a version of normal now.

I suppose I could always blame the other two guys in the band if things didn't pan out [laughs]. But no. You carry the same responsibility as a solo artist as you do in a group, I feel. I just love to create so perhaps the volume of my solo output is more reflective of that, rather than making a conscious decision to do more solo stuff over Brothers stuff. There are certain creative instincts I have as a solo artist that are just inherently different when I'm recording with the group.

Last summer. I was kind of bored at home. It's a true reflection of what I was feeling and the experiences I was having navigating this strange time. Also having spent some time away from my wife while she was shooting and talking about that in the music and bringing it to life.

It's important to have that natural dialogue. If there was something she was working on that I didn't feel was 100 per cent what it could be, and vice versa, we would share that with each other out of love and respect for one another.

Yeah, I think so. That's just naturally come with age and with continuing to evolve and grow. Lots of factors have helped that. And you look at that graduating class of our Disney days [Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato all came from that era] and everyone's continuing to do pretty well. I don't think working with [Disney] has the stigma that it did in our day, thankfully. I think it's wonderful what's happening with [Disney+ star] Olivia Rodrigo and others who have been launched on programmes that are targeted towards teenagers but are still being taken seriously. I think one of the biggest misconceptions about [The Jonas Brothers] in the early days was that first of all it was manufactured, which is just impossible because, well, we're brothers. The second was that the music we released as The Jonas Brothers was manufactured in some ways. It truly wasn't. ff782bc1db
