JID's verse adds to the theme of deception in the relationship. He describes his attraction to the "troubled type" of girl, but draws a line if he suspects they are living a double life. He depicts the argument between him and his partner at a party, and even though they are trying to get in harmony, their feelings of hurt and mistrust are still looming over them.

Overall, the song portrays the feelings of betrayal and hurt that come with dishonesty in a relationship. The rain symbolizes the sadness and emptiness that Khalid feels when his partner sneaks out at night. His attempts to medicate himself to avoid pain only highlight the extent of his suffering. The song's outro is a plea for his partner to tell him the truth, to admit that they were never there for him.

Auto Mute is useful when you need to get the feel of the song's tempo and chord timing at the beginning but want to play the rest of the song on your own. Works great with Easy Scroll and Magic Metronome.

All I feel is rain when you creep out in the night

And you caused me so much pain but I still stand by your side

I cannot feel a thing, sometimes I medicate

So I don't feel the pain when you creep out in the night

And you caused me so much pain

Look, uh, check

So many good girls but I tend to love on the troubled type

But I draw a line if I'm thinkin' you live a double life

Devil on your left side shoulder, an angel the right

We right in the middle of arguin' at the party

Who started it? Hit the gas

You talkative, 'bout to crash

Who parkin' it? Gettin' mad

Is you barkin' at me for sayin' you heartless?

Try my hardest to get in harmony

But we harborin' feelings so hoverin' clouds, feelin' down

All I feel is rain when you creep out in the night (creep out in the night)

And you caused me so much pain (yeah, yeah) but I still stand by your side

I cannot feel a thing (mm-hmm, mm), sometimes I medicate

So I don't feel the pain when you creep out in the night

And you caused me so much pain

All I feel is rain

All I need to know, oh, oh (all I need to know)

I, couldn't believe it, couldn't believe you, no (I need to know)

Sometimes I medicate, I don't feel a thing

Look at what you made me do

So tell me you were never there for me

Mm, mm, mm, oh

Despite being so short, the song is still very fitting for the storyline and pushes the concept of communication in relationships. Khalid thinks that the relationship is potentially over, and there is no interest from Led. However, Led actually feels the same about Khalid. Instead of hiding their feelings and ending the relationship, there is that moment of communication. They share that they want to make it work, even though they know the heartbreak that would follow without each other. The song truly holds a solid and true message for any relationship.

Listening to the Rain

Let my touch the drops let me listen to the rain

Let me feel the fragrance she brought from clouds

Let me understand the message just full of pain

Let me search for reality let me uncover the shrouds

Let me feel the music let me be in the symphony

Let me see my beloved whose image is in rain

Let me be the part of nature let me be in harmony

I know my love your love makes me but insane

My sweetheart come and do not miss the weather

Tell your beauty to have some faith in my real love

Lets be together in these moments to put togetherĀ

What fortune has gathered from below and above

With his steadily rising fame ever since 2017, the singer is paying homage to the memories that built him into the person his fans know today. His schoolboy naivete is relatable to listeners as the feeling of nostalgia is a universal and tough one to comprehend.

Brand New was a song with such a good gradual build leading up to the chorus. After every section, a new layer of instrumental or vocals is added leading up to the chorus, and it was amazing. The song was a little repetitive, but I feel it was warranted because of everything going on in the song.

This is one of the few songs on the album without a feature, and it is a very stripped-down song. The song feels so raw and filled with emotion. You can tell he is singing from his soul, and it is truly breathtaking. The song is so simple but so impressive at the same time. It is such a calming song, and when listening, takes you into such a peaceful place.

KHALID: The movie is the Hollywood take on the dramatic rescue of 12 boys and their soccer coach who were trapped in deep, dark tunnels during heavy rains in Thailand four years ago. It's called "Thirteen Lives." And we're joined now by LA Times film critic Kenneth Turan to talk about it. Good to have you with us.

TURAN: Oh, claustrophobic is the key word. I mean, these are not the wide-open spaces by any means. And they've done a great job - you know, kind of movie magic technicians - in recreating the cave, in using things like that that make you really feel that you're there.

TURAN: Well, you know, these guys are very unassuming guys - the real guys. And for these kind of roles, you need low-key charisma. You know, they're quiet. They're withdrawn. But, you know, because they've got the movie-star charisma, you feel that you want to pay attention to them.

The 2009 elections, more than the ICC decision, have promise to resolve the Darfur crisis in the long term, if the demands of Sudanese opposition parties are met. They call for release of census results, so that the number of eligible voters is public knowledge. They want repeal of a host of press censorship laws, the infamous national security law restricting freedom of assembly and the land commission law that leaves the demarcation of constituencies under the purview of the Bashir regime. As most Sudanese know full well, it is impossible to hold representative elections in the south during the rainy season between May and September, and accordingly the opposition demands that the contests be deferred until the fall. Any meaningful election in Sudan will depend on satisfying the above requirements. The regime has balked at them so far, and instead seeks to accelerate the electoral timetable to limit the campaigning opportunities of the opposition, despite the fact that the registration of voters is not yet underway.

Second, though the prominent case studies are of military conflicts, at their heart these are economic and development crises; the violence in these cases proceeds from communities feeling marginalized and exploited by their own governments.

And so I'm just wandering the streets for, like, an hour, and it's raining intermittently on and off. And then I finally find Wimbledon. And then when I get to the gates, you know, there's an official that says, oh, we'll be letting people in for 3 pounds after 5 p.m., and that was like 15 minutes away. I paid my 3 pounds, walked on the grounds and again, like I said, it was raining, so I thought, well, maybe I can go see Centre Court.

And I sat down, and then slowly, they're removing the rain tarp. The sideline officials are coming out. They're squeegeeing off the grass. The chair umpire comes out. And then John McEnroe and Stefan Edberg come out to finish the third set of the 1989 Men's Semifinal, and I got to watch it for 3 pounds, and it was probably the most "Forrest Gump" kind of experience anybody could ever have. And I treasure that fully.

Now, truthfully, what actually happened in real life was I was on a bus to Salzburg, and she was sitting next to me. And at this point, we had already expressed our feelings for one another. And, of course, those same girls were, you know, sitting right behind me. And they're whispering into my ear, just - oh, just give her a peck on the cheek. Ask if you can kiss her. Just, you know, whisper to her. And I remember leaning over to Amy and saying, can I kiss you? She was really sheepishly, like, grinning and just nodding, like, yeah. Yeah. Go ahead.

SANTAT: What you tend to see is that adolescence is a cycle, you know? You go through these rigors of being a teenager, and then as your kids are growing up, you actually see them going through those same pressures, right? It's just - the only difference is that the clothes are different and, you know, music has changed. But for the most part, it's just a revolving circle of repeating events. I think sometimes as adults, we kind of do a disservice by assuring them that parents are flawless and that we can take care of anything. And now, you know, with my boys, after telling them all the events of this memoir, we're actually much, much tighter than ever, and they're more open to telling me all kinds of things, mainly because I've shown them that I've been fallible, that I've made mistakes that they've made. And as a result, I think they feel - you know, there's this saying where they say, well, I'm not supposed to be your friend. I'm your parent, you know? And I think there is a way to be both. 9af72c28ce
