Select Click here to join the meeting  in your meeting invite to be taken to a page where you can choose to either join on the web or download the desktop app. If you already have the Teams app, the meeting will open there automatically.

To find both the meeting ID and passcode, go to your calendar in Outlook. Open the meeting you want to join. At the bottom of the meeting invitation under Or join by entering a meeting ID  , you'll find the ID and passcode.

Join a meeting on more than one device for more collaboration and content-sharing options. If you're already in a meeting on your laptop, for example, you can join on your phone as well to share live video, control a presentation with your phone, and much more.

If you have conflicting meeting times, Teams joins the meeting that starts first. If meetings start at the exact same time, Teams joins the one based on which meeting title comes first in alphabetical order.

TVCs are collected as Teams conversation attachments (if smaller than 200 MB) and separate .mp4 files. TVC file data is discoverable in eDiscovery review sets and can be exported. Preview of video clips isn't currently supported.1 Meeting (and call) metadata includes the following:

When viewing the .pst file for the team, all conversations are located in the Team Chat folder under Conversation History. The title of the message contains the team name and channel name. For example, the image below shows a message from Bob who messaged the Project 7 standard channel of the Manufacturing Specs team.

You can use eDiscovery tools to search for Teams content related to guests in your organization. Teams chat content that's associated with a guest is preserved in a cloud-based storage location and can be searched for using eDiscovery. This includes searching for content in 1:1 and 1:N chat conversations in which a guest is a participant with other users in your organization. You can also search for private channel messages in which a guest is a participant and search for content in guest:guest chat conversations where the only participants are guests.

To search for card content, you can use the kind:microsoftteams or itemclass:IPM.SkypeTeams.Message search conditions. When reviewing search results, card content generated by bots in a Teams channel has the Sender/Author email property as @teams.microsoft.com, where appname is the name of the app that generated the card content. If card content was generated by a user, the value of Sender/Author identifies the user.

Joining a Teams meeting on the web can be done with the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome web browsers, and does not require a software download. If you do have Microsoft Teams installed on your computer, the easiest way to join a Teams meeting is from within the application. However, joining on the web is useful if you do not have the Microsoft Teams application on the computer you are using or if you are a guest who was invited to a meeting hosted by someone at UW-Green Bay.

***NOTE: On the web, Microsoft Teams meetings can be joined by clicking a meeting link in an email inviation or an even in your Outlook calendar. The following prodecure details how to join a Teams meeting on the web with a meeting link.***

3. A pop-up saying "Join conversation" will open in your default web browser. What happens next will vary depending on your browser and whether or not Microsoft Teams is installed on your computer.

4. Once you have selected the method of entry and given the website permission to use your camera and microphone, you will be taken to a page where you can configure your audio and video settings, and preview your video before joining the meeting. Enter your name in the "Enter name" field located inside the window preview window.

7. Once you have entered the meeting, you can use buttons in the "Meeting controls panel" in the bottom middle of the meeting window to turn on/off your microphone and camera, share your screen, open the conversation (text chat), and access other meeting features.

While on the move, we need to stay connected, be reachable and have access to all your resources. With the Teams phone app, you have immediate access to all your apps and documents. You can easily respond to chat and conversations, join meetings with one click and continue to collaborate. So even on the move, you are kept completely in the loop.

I came here looking a solution to this same requirement.. a link that others can click on to dial into a normal MS Teams (multi-person) chat. I want to include this in my meeting invites in the case where I initially created the chat group manually within MS Teams (not originally via meeting invite).I opened the chat in MS Teams Web (in my browser) to get the unique conversation identifier and then replaced that portion in a sample link that I would typically find in meeting invites. I also removed the context parameter. When I followed the resulting link in my browser it launched my MS Teams desktop application and joined the chat group meeting. An illustrative sample link is below:

So basically I want this Power Automate flow to read from an excel to get the email address of a bunch of people, create a new chat with them, and send them a message through Microsoft Teams. How can I find out the Conversation ID for a chat that is yet to be created though? Since part of this flow is to create the chat, I don't know how to fill in the conversation ID.

I have almost the same problem. I have 2 "Create a chat" triggers, one before an approval step and one that should run after the approval but I only see one "Conversation Id" option, how can I get the conversation id from the "Create a chat" trigger that runs before the approval step?
