I fully uninstalled zoom and iriun too, and re-installed. Then Iriun was giving me a really really weird kind of blown out, black and white, very abstract image within the zoom preview (even with normal feed on the iriun Mac app itself).

Hi, the beginning of this year my bluestacks stopped working with iriun, I redownloaded and reinstalled everything like 5 times since, and it just doesn't work.

Whenever BS tries to detect the camera, the screen just gets black and app (smule) freezes, to a point of forse kill. Everything is latest version, been waiting for months for maybe a new release, but same old same old. Anyone know a workaround?

Hi I'm experiencing a bug when using my Iphone as a webcam with twitch studio. I'm using a software called "Iriun". It allows you to use your phones camera as a webcam source in OBS, SLOBS, ECT. Twitch seems to recognize the software, as it shows up as a device to select for the webcam. But the screen is just black. I really would prefer to use Twitch studio VS SLOBS. If there's a fix for this that could be implemented it could be very valuable to new streamers. I have the debug log from the "Report webcam Issue" button.

1. Set up Iriun Webcam as you would do normally

2.In twitch studio, delete your webcam layer and add a new capture layer

3.Select Iriun as the window captured

4. Use the crop tool at the top bar to select only the part that shows your image in Iriun

good , that is the first time i hear about that app(iriun), i have used droidcam instead of it, but i have a lot of problem with droidcam, I'm trying iriun app now, it's good until now. mic is working me now in iriun, just i choise alsa loopback,

iriunwebcam ( ) has worked fine on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS as well as on Ubuntu 20.04 beta on another VMware virtual machine, while it won't still work on a real PC. Also it works fine in Ubuntu 19.10 on another virtual machine. In addition I've confirmed it can work in Fedora 31 on another virtual machine.

From the above results iriunwebcam listens to 4698/udp port to find an available smartphone, and once the connection establishes, the port is closed and a tcp connection is established from a high port to the smartphone's 4699/tcp.

4698/udp and 5037/tcp are opened in the firewall both on virtual and real machines. Of course, if they are closed, iriunwebcam smartphone app cannot connect to PC app. However, PC app opens the ports even when the ports are closed.

I've tried using iriunwebcam ( ). At first I installed it in Ubuntu 20.04 beta on a VMware vitual machine and it successfully works.Then I installed it in Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on a real PC, however it doesn't work. The application itself successfully boots but it won't find the connection from the smartphone app.

Running this command has no effect. DroidCam however works flawlessly. Although I noticed that the picture quality of iriun has been better than DroidCam.

The host Iriun program was initiated and the two "cameras" connected and were test selected, everything OK. I then joined the Zoom meeting from the invitation circulated and was made co-host, the laptop webcam worked as normal but when either of the two Iriun cameras was selected, the screen flashed between a barely visible image and the looking for camera display. Neither camera image would hold and I had to abandon the Zoom meeting. I then turned the android phones off and restarted them, rebooted Iriun, turned off the laptop restarted it, restarted Iriun connected the phones which displayed within the Iriun window. Restarted Zoom, reopened the meeting, selected a Iriun camera and the same result, no image, just an alternating flash between a split second display and looking for camera.

After further consideration I wonder if the fact that I was not the Zoom account holder running the meeting, but only the co-host after using the account holder's invitation to join the meeting was the cause of the failure. The tests that I ran before and after the failure that were successful were made when I initiated the meeting. The fact that I have attended other Zoom meetings by invitation, where I have successfully used an Iriun webcam as an optional freehand camera to illustrate a closeup of equipment detail contradicts the above suggestion though.

When I have an opportunity to run a test again at the venue, I will make sure that both the pro account holder and I have done a check that we are both running the same update of Zoom, and I will try to get Iriun webcam cameras to run after accepting his invitation to join the meeting.

I have the same problem. At first I did like you said, reboot everything and reinstal eveything. I even tried with older versions of both zoom and iriun drivers. While searching through settings (video and audio) I could see the webcam working, but the next day the same problem occured again.

I tried other app: iVCam, and it has work fine so far but, truth be told, I don't like it as much as iriun webcam, and the pro version is quite expensive.

This should be a staple item right about now as most folks have smartphones & the need for videoconferencing has exploded along with the ability to get any sort of webcam (anytime soon...) these days is just about nil.

We also have a perfectly good, fully functional Wifi or ethernet connected IP camera that is reachable for streaming via browser & IP address - but I have found no viable way to get that stream to mimic a webcam in this OS.

What fascinates me is that the IP cam streams perfectly into VLC via the RTSP protocol, IP address, port & filename - but I've no idea how to make that mimic a webcam & searching for that info brought an excess number of useless results.

Thought of using Vuforia as it allows testing using a webcam. So, i downloaded Iriun Webcam (IP Webcam for android), and succesfully got the video stream inside the Unity Editor when i press "Play".I created a minimal AR example, where my app would detect a plane and a tap would place an object.My issue is that when I Build the apk and test it on my phone it works perfectly as it should, but when i do it using the play button inside the editor, the video stream is captured, but it won't do any AR stuff (like plane detection as it was supposed to do)

As mentioned here -extension/vuforia-play-mode-unity Ground Plane is not supported when using a webcam in Unity Play Mode. Ground plane relies on a robust device tracker and this is not available when using a webcam. However, to help development, it is possible to record a sequence on a device and then using this in play mode -support/recording-and-playback. The other option is to emulate the Ground Plane behavior using an Image Target as discussed here -plane/introduction-ground-plane-unity.

However, its operation interface is too archaic and the functional boards are not easily distinguishable. This may take too much time to find the function that you want. So is there a better alternative to the Iriun webcam? e24fc04721
