Has anyone else had this strange issue recording video off audiobus to the irig app with the audio track getting stretched beyond the video one? What you see in the resulting recording is the audio being pitch-shifted lower and the waveform rendering extending past the right boundary of the video clip, making it late in addition to being lower pitch. When I re-recorded the next day, the problem mysteriously disappeared.

This sounds like maybe disagreement on audio sampling rate, 44.1 vs 48 kHz. If you have connected an audio interface, you can change the audio rate, but video may be fixed at the iPad's default rate. Is the pitch shift about 1.5 semitones?

I have been using an iRig with an iPhone XR for months for our live-stream facebook church services. With in the last week I am unable to get the unit to work. I also tried the Rode unit we had also used and had the same problem. Also tried it on my iPhone 12 Pro with no luck. Was there a recent iPhone update that would cause a compatibility problem?

Important: On iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod), due to the nature of Facebook and Instagram Live and how they capture audio. The below work around can be used with our audio interfaces (such as iRig Stream, iRig Pro DUO I/O, or iRig HD 2) to allow for an uninterrupted audio input source.

I have the iRig app downloaded. I found that if you open the app and plug your iRig lightning cable into your phone while the app is running and then open the Facebook app to go live, it works. Just keep the iRig app open in the background. That works for me everytime! Good luck!

I updated my iphone 8 and iPad 10.2 7th generation. I currently have the iRig2, which was working prior to the update. I then purchased the iRig 2 HD and still have no sound out out for Facebook or Instagram. I can record fine onto the devices, but cannot broadcast.Ive checked other forums and cannot find any help.

I have the same issue with my iPhone 12 Pro Max (iOS 14.2.1), no resolution after hours of talk with apple and ik multimedia regarding this issue. The option of plugging it in after live-stream is engaged is only a temporary fix and eventually will not work. I tried both the iRig Pro and Duo, multiple cables and reboots. As of now, all three of my iRig devises are useless with my current iPhone 12. I guess we wait till Apple and Ik Multimedia talk to each other and work out this operating system error. Very Disappointed.

Seems to be a lightning port issue. Tried 2 condenser mics with saramonic xlr and irig pro on my iPhone XS and also with 2 different IPad. Same problem. No sound, no phantom power and no control on my device volume.

Yeah the iRig Recorder app worked for my House of Prayer. I think it may be more of an issue with Facebook rather than IK multimedia or Apple though. But now everyone has to remember to start the recording in the iRig Recorder app as well as delete the recording after they are done so over two hours of audio isn't using up space on their phone.

I have been using iRig2 for recording our church services live using 3 different iPad Pros and everything was working great until last December. I have 3 iRig2 units none of which are working on my iPad Pros. I've read through all these posts here and there doesn't seem to be any response from Apple Support! Why is this?
