So.. I bought the license. In my e-mail I got the license-key AND separately an link.. an link from where I can download the product I bought. I followed that link and after.. I sow that I downloaded the ASC 4 and not ASC 6 PRO for what I payed for. Later on.. I got back to iobit and from there I installed the trial version of Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 6.

It's working fine now. I think the suspect is my portable Advanced System Care and the defrag program from Iobit. My game booster problem only happens after I use those two. After using those 2, they startup on with windows

Hey Guys , I have a older computer ,that works great , Have been using IOBIT free download version for at least 3 years or more . It s a great product ,, just recently ( Advance System Care 6.4 ) in action center , suggested to install anti malware and drive booster to protect computer ( fix all ) it offered free. So I did , wow , after completion and reboot ,, my volume control on task bar was gone ! Now I have no video sound , no sounds at all , which worked perfectly before . Reading posts here , is it possible to regain it ?? Know it just didn't disappear , Device Manager shows things working properly . Would roll back driver work to regain it ? Became very disappointed and uninstalled both , but I cant seem to get it . In Advance System Care , there is a rescue , will that reverse everything back ??

So I installed driver booster 9 a few months ago and now the trial version is over so I'm on the free version. but I was updating drivers on the free version and updated all my laptop keyboard drivers. now nothing works asside from FN and up/down keys (led brightness). so I try to recover drivers and im told to pay at least 14$ CAD to "activate" my app! how stupid is that? so now my laptop has no working keyboard and im forced to use a usb keyboard until I can find a way to restore this. and device manager won't work since there are "no older versions" to roll back to

The same thing happened to me... DO NOT update your M.2 Drive using Iobit Driver Booster. You will get the "Inaccesable Boot Device" happening every time. This is a problem 100% on Iobit' side for providing corrupt and dangerous drivers with there software. A quick Google Search of "iobit driver booster inaccesable boot device" will produce a lot of results of people having the same issues. For anyone reading this, the only way to fix will be to format your PC do a fresh reinstall of Windows, or Restore your system to point before you install any Drivers from Iobit Driver Booster Software.

Same thing happened to me funny thing worked perfectly before this time rebooted, win. 10 crashed did a fix lost D drive got it back but now windows store app won't work cannot update the app or install to it. I bought iobit driver booster nearly a year ago I will not be renewing my subscription.

I have used driver booster over 10 years. Now it has in 3 months killed 3 computers that I have had to manually install whole shit again. I have removed driver booster from every computer I used to guard and I am sorry but I will no longer trust your programs.

Yes Driver booster has worked fine for me like 10 years. Now it killed my wifes mothers computer 3 times at the row - I could not identify that problem was from driver booster because I installed it for her computer and had let her know to use it weekly.

It would really be more than fair you pay my wifes mother computer fix and that is because when it broke down first place I couldnt even imagine reason could be drivers booster. I even wrote good recommendation about your program.

DO NOT USE iobit software - any of them - because this is totally lame and you should compensate and take responsibility for this size of error. And in my view you should try and test your own software almost every possible new computer setup there is - just to be sure.

Some drivers have a newer version which is incompatible with related hardware like I've ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics card which is incompatible with AMD Radeon driver version 12.4(ATI was sold to AMD)! The two times when I tried updating first time I saw "Update failed"(without driver booster) and then the next time it installed but there was some sort of error that made me format the old pc with XPSP3 and install Windows 7 on that. Now I'm using an older version of the driver software and will not upgrade.

First, I must say its a very light and easy to use handy software. driver booster runs in the background and won't strain the CPU and RAM, i was able to play new game titles without having to shutdown any background process. I usually run windows updates daily to get the latest drivers and driver booster updated and fixed my PC drivers extremely accurately even better than windows update did. I'm really impressed with the software and would highly recommend it as a product.

Man this is 2023 and still the same problem with driver booster. I don't know what sin I did in the past to suffer form this stupid problem. I should NEVER have used this pathetic driver updater. I can't use my bluetooth now even after restoring my windows. Why does this junk software have to unplug my fine buetooth? Who gave it the permission? I gave it permission only to update not unplug my device. I can't use my speakers anymore. This is terrible. I'll never use this software again and ask anyone I meet never ever to rely on this idiotic piece of junk software.

Same here, Driver booster killed my Bluetooth drivers, and not even after 2 days of troubleshooting and an unnecessary Windows Update from 10 to 11 did the drivers work. How is it possible that software that is supposed to work and ease up your life just wasted 48 hours of our lives? That was the last time I installed any software of IOBIT, great for upselling only!

Also Mark Wilson's suggestion on how to repair it, would work if there was a Bluetooth device visible on my device manager. That was the first thing that came to my mind, but the driver booster managed to entirely delete Bluetooth from the face of my earth. None of the Windows troubleshooting steps helped either.

I installed driver booster free version on a friends laptop. It updated many drivers and everything appeared ok. Before I did this, I made a system restore point. After the new drivers were installed, my friend said his laptop would not wake up from sleep mode. So I had him go back to the restore point before running Drver Booster. He said the problem persisted so I did not know what to do. He hired a Csco Certified tech to look at the problem and he had to go back to the original drivers that came with the laptop. He said a system restore point will not undo the damage caused by what driver booster did. He said that the driver settings are very critical on a laptop. So now I am not using it anymore and do not recomend it to people I know. This is unacceptable to have no way to get back to the way things were before doing a driver update.

About a day or two ago I started to freeze up after using Gamebooster for a few weeks. The thing was that a few days before that, I started messing with Gamebooster to get more than a slight benefit to my Planetside 2 fps. It worked. I ended up getting 10-40fps better than I had been, and I was extremely pleased.

I should mention that I tried as many things as I could think of to fix this problem (though I know I'm not very tech savvy). This included undoing the tweaks I did through Gamebooster, and even reverted back to Windows defaults, also an option under tweaks. Of course I also uninstalled Gamebooster, to no effect.

So I ask you guys - do you think that Gamebooster is even capable of this? If you have great doubts then I might even reinstall it after I uninstall windows, if I find I have to (it's really looking like that right now). Otherwise I'm going to have to wait until the full release...if it's even coming. (An incredible shame - it helped my fps SO MUCH).

My apologies, I could have been a bit more explicit; yes I certainly have tried to run games without Gamebooster, in addition to running them many times after having uninstalled Gamebooster (and undone all of its Tweaks) completely (even trying resetting to Windows Defaults under Tweaks).

So yeah, I think you may have been prophetic here!! Thank you very much for your insight. It is really a relief to think that Gamebooster was most likely not the problem. Do you think there was any chance it could have been this program given all of this, if I might ask? Because I can't help but wonder if I actually, technically did something to void my warranty by using the tweaks in this Beta Game Booster program... e24fc04721
