i had optimized my graphics on the intel HD graphics control panel earlier on when i got my laptop but now when i tried to optimize my graphics again i opened the control panel and it appeared to be initializing but it soon disappeared and did not open the control pane; and when i try open it from the start menu or from a folder a message is displayed stating that GfxUI.exe is missing HELP ME PLEASE! im running windows 8.1 with intel core i5 on a Samsung ATIV Book 2!!

I think at some point, I had the laptop connected to a TV via HDMI, and opened the Intel Graphics control panel on that screen. After I disconnected from that TV, the Intel Graphics Control Panel would open up, but be completely invisible and inaccessible.

And you should see that a file called: GfxUIEx.exe is highlighted. That's the control panel you're trying to open. On my laptop, I also saw a file right next to it called Gfxv2_0.exe. Just out of curiosity, I double-clicked that file, and magically, the Intel Graphics Control Panel finally showed up again!!!

This "works" if you disable the Arc Control in Startup Apps, but it also starts the Arc Control through the Task Scheduler OPEN, so, it might save two clicks, but it's still OPEN on the desktop. Anyone find a solution where Task Schedules starts the ARC control with admin privileges in the backround, and not spawns the app open on the Desktop?

I contacted nvidia and they said if the nvvsvc.exe service was diasbled then it would make the control panel stop working. But it just seems you can access the control panel for nvidia with nvcplui.exe

Today, after upgrading my graphics driver to 31.0.101.4672, I'm facing a wired problem. Update check on Intel Arc control is getting timed out, and its not telling me if my driver is up to date or not. What can i do to fix this issue. I added a photo of the reply I'm getting after few minutes.

First of all, on the NUC8i7HNK and NUC8i7HVK, the Intel HD Graphics engine is completely disconnected. The AMD Graphics engine is in charge of the connectors, so you have to use the AMD control panel for any adjustments you need to make.

Ive also tried downloading it from the microsoft store and when i open it it says "And Incompatible Legacy Version of this application is installed on this system. visit intel graphics control panel page in the windows store to know the minimum requirements for launching the application Keep In Mind I Have A Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4000 And I Dont Have The Intel Graphics Control Panel On My Computer So Im Very Confused"

I did some further observation with the Windows Task Manager, and under the Processes tag I found the intel Arc Control seemed to show some weird behavior using too much resource. So I tried "End Task" with the Arc Control and then did the benchmark again. Problem solved! The CPU acted as expected with only one core reached 4.4GHz and other core stayed at lower frequencies during the single thread benchmark, and thus the benchmark score also rose to the normal level comparable to the records found online.

Since the new update of my graphics driver(26.20.100.7263) The control panel is nowhere to be found. Intel says I should download the app in the Microsoft store and I did, but it says an old version has been installed so I can't open. When I checked the Intel's Graphics driver update website it says the latest version for my igpu is lower than my current version. Any help would be nice.

So i bought all parts. fresh. installed windows. updated bios. up to date all drivers and etc. but when i went to control panel searched for 3D settings i couldn't find Global Settings (There are but there is only 1 option Optimal which is only like VSync)idk but should i get more options also ? like Power. ?? maybe you intel have removed ? it ??

I have recently updated the driver of my intel graphics card to the latest versoin and since then the Intel HD Graphics control panel tray icon is always visible when I restart my laptop, despite having selected "Disable" tray icon from the preferences section in the control panel. I try to keep as little as possible in the system tray and this bug is very annoying.

3. as far as my understanding goes, NOT having resizable bar is an issue with the gpu itself and not the companion software. i could be wrong about that. but the gpu itself works fine. i am having no issues whatsoever... its just the control software that isnt working. however as i also understand not having the ability to enable resizable bar is only an issue with older hardware. as brand new ddr5 build this is not a problem for me as resizable bar is enabled by default in the bios.

Every time I start my computer (Hp Pavilion 590-p0054) I have to select the correct scaling from the Graphics control panel, it does not save this setting when the computer is shut down, restarted, or put to sleep.

I'd like to know where the Intel HD Graphics Control Panel is located on disk drive, or actually the executable that starts the control panel. I know how to access the intel graphic control panel with the mouse (which is: right click on desktop, and then select graphic properties), but that is not the question here. I have Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 64-bit, and my laptop is a HP Zbook.

The reason I want to know where the executable is, is that I want to make a shortcut to the control panel, and if possible also let the shortcut start in 'Beeldscherm' (which in English is something like 'screen'). See here a printscreen that hopefully clarifies.
