It seems like with each generation, they firmly believe that Jesus will come within their lifetime. So when he doesn't, what does that say about their belief? People always say Jesus is coming soon. Ok, so when is soon?

I know people will respond with scripture not knowing the time or place, coming like a thief in the night, so on and so on. Ok fine, if that's the case and they don't know when, then why do they keep saying "soon"?

So after a whole day of getting the run around and chats with uninformed oculus support i finally figured it out. If your account has been restricted one too many times it will not allow you to "get" it will continue to say "coming soon" create a new fb account and link it to oculus (you can have more than 1 profile) and try to download horizon worlds from your new account, then it will let you download with no problem. Apparently they don't want to tell us this because they're trying to make sure only upstanding fb citizens join. While acting like fb won't throw you in jail over the smallest of things and they still haven't figured out how to keep obnoxious , loud, disrespectful kids out though

Crazy that they prevent you from downloading a video game because of "offenses" on social media. I've been in FB jail a few times for ridiculous things, and now I'm banned from Horizon Worlds before I can even get it? I'm hoping when v43 and meta accounts roll out, that disconnecting from Facebook solves the problem. I've never been banned in any video game, ever. I haven't even been in Facebook jail for quite some time, which is leading me to believe it's a permanent ban if a Facebook account will always be involved.

Subtle changes were made to the Message List providing more spacing between messages for easier readability and updates to recognize flagged items faster. Additional updates to the reading pane and when composing email include fewer visual distractions as well as an improved sequence when creating a New Appointment, where putting time before location provides smarter suggestions based on availability. We love that over a million customers tried the new experience with Coming Soon by turning it on right in the app.

We also want to remind you that all the user experience updates that have been described in Coming Soon over the last several months will soon be rolling out to all Monthly Channel customers. In May 2019, after rigorous rounds of validation and refinement, we will make the updates the default experience and no longer optional.

It seems like something done internally on steam. I've seen at least two more yet-to-be-released products that had the same thing. Store API date removed, date changed to coming soon or TBA or something.

Don't follow the original suggestion on this page. If you wish to change any languages, you should go to your language in your theme settings. That's why it's crossed out, it's supposed to show regular price. It's showing that the 499.99 is a sale price correctly, but the original price has been overwritten with coming soon. What could go wrong?

It's called a super app. China already has its own, called WeChat. And it appears Russia will have one, too -- very soon.

For years, Russian authorities have been building new infrastructure and guardrails around the country's once freewheeling, vibrant digital universe, using hardware, software, legal threats, and corporate takeovers to build what's known as a sovereign Internet.

The full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 further hastened this effort, which includes the imminent dismantling of one of the country's most admired Internet companies, Yandex.

VK's growth has increased substantially since March 2022, when authorities said they were classifying Facebook and related platforms like Instagram as extremist, effectively banning them.

Then there's Gosuslugi, an e-government service portal used by an estimated 100 million Russians on a regular basis. Gosuslugi has simplified the lives of millions, streamlining many of the mundane tasks that Russia's bureaucracies often made intolerable.

"If a person can get a passport with the help of Gosuslugi and is not afraid to do it, why not try to convince him to vote through the portal? And it is much easier to influence the voting results electronically than to do it offline," Russian journalist Andrei Pertsev wrote in an analysis in April.

Since 2022, Gosuslugi has been moving to integrate more of its services into VK. Roskomnadzor also used Gosuslugi to warn Russians about platforms like Instagram being blocked -- and to specifically encourage Russians to switch over to VK, or to a much smaller platform called Odnoklassniki.

"Since Russia is a country that has its own competitive Internet platforms, including the social networks VK and Odnoklassniki, with coverage of tens of millions of users, we hope that your transition to these platforms will happen quickly and that in the future you will discover new opportunities for communication and doing business," the agency said in a message sent out to millions of Gosuslugi users.

There's also military conscription.

Last April, lawmakers passed legislation that allows for electronic draft notices; if you receive an electronic message on your personal Gosuslugi account, you are considered to have been legally summoned for military duty. Failure to appear means the person temporarily loses important benefits, including the right to buy or sell a home, drive a car, or borrow money from a bank.

'Bad Consequences'

"As far as I know, this 'super app' project is a longtime dream by some Russian senior officials, at least those indeed looking at China as the essence of a country which manages to master its own 'information space,'" said Julien Nocetti, a researcher at the French Institute of International Relations specializing in Russia and cybersecurity.

It hasn't yet worked out, he said, for two reasons.

"First is the totally different configuration of Russia's cyberspace as opposed to China's," Nocetti said. "Second is the tradition of embezzlement in many government-funded digital projects over the past decade and a half in the country." ff782bc1db
