YouTubers have been caught up in some very stupid things in 2018, but most of these incidents didn't end in death. Pakistan Today reports that Pakistani YouTuber Rana Zuhair, part of the Lahori Vines YouTube channel, was shot and killed while filming a prank video in which he pretended to be a ghost in an attempt to scare people. Zuhair reportedly approached a family in a park near Lytton Road, Lahore with a white sheet over his head, at which point one of the family members opened fire on him, killing him instantly.

The other two members of the Lahori Vines channel, Hasnat Ali and Abdul Saboor, have been arrested by police under the suspicion that they might be behind the killing of Zuhair. The Lahori Vines YouTube channel features a number of videos in which the three men prank unsuspecting members of the public, usually to questionable results. Subscribers on the channel have grown since the incident, but only to an unassuming 3200.

The trio launched Lahori Vines in November, promising to "entertain people of our society, by our talent and fun." Earlier this year, a 20-year-old Minnesota woman was charged with second-degree manslaughter when she fatally shot her 22-year-old boyfriend for a YouTube vlog. The couple had a channel in which they filmed themselves doing pranks, amateur stunts, and a number of challenges. She shot him through a book which he was holding up, believing it would stop the bullet she fired.

A couple weeks ago, I posted a video about an elevator prank that would give most people a heart attack. I think that I found one today that has topped that video. I cannot imagine the fear that these people felt as the lights went out.

But then you don't need to understand Portuguese to follow what's happening in this ultra-freaky video. In it, a person walks into an elevator. Suddenly, the elevator stops, the lights go off and, unbeknownst to the passenger, a ghostly girl crawls in via a side panel. When the lights come back on, she usually screams, sometimes the passenger screams, and let's just say a few emotional scars are created in the process.

The prank itself is very similar to one that was done by Just For Laughs in June. The resemblance should come as no surprise for those who have followed SBT's trajectory. Santos is a fan of producing his own version of popular shows like The Biggest Loser and Wheel of Fortune for his channel.

On arrest, the students admitted to playing the pranks as a joke. They were released on station bail after apologising for their acts. The students were identified as Shaan Malik, Naveed, Sakib, Syed Nabil, Yusif Ahmed, Sajil Mohammed, and Mohammed Ayub.

The episode begins with SpongeBob introducing Patrick to the Palace of Pranks. SpongeBob tells Patrick that he bought a gag can of Seanut Brittle from there, with which Patrick gets pranked and is sad that there is no actual snack.

SpongeBob and Patrick then enter the store in search of the ultimate prank. Patrick falls for the Seanut Brittle prank again before SpongeBob introduces Patrick to the store owner, Frank, who then suggests numerous gags in stock to prank all of Bikini Bottom with, though none of them interest the pair until they are offered a rare can of Invisible Spray for just one dollar.

SpongeBob and Patrick then proceed to purchase it and are warned that it stains clothes. Before they use the spray, Patrick remembers it will stain clothes, so he and SpongeBob take their clothes off in order to prevent the spray from staining their clothes. They decide to spray a park bench and sit on it but get in an argument over who gets to spray the bench. During the fight, they are embarrassed by a passing tour bus before they spray each other until "several bad puns later," after which both of them are completely invisible and the Invisible Spray can is empty. SpongeBob throws it out of sight and blames Patrick since their chances at pulling off the ultimate prank are now ruined.

After asking a man for the time and accidentally scaring him away, SpongeBob realizes that he and Patrick can pretend to be ghosts and prank the whole town. They pretend to be ghosts and go around frightening everyone - moving things around in Sandy's treedome, eating a cake Mrs. Puff was going to eat, painting a mustache on Squidward's face, etc. - until Mr. Krabs, who is confirmed not to be afraid of ghosts, is the last person in Bikini Bottom who has yet to be haunted.

Though embarrassed, Mr. Krabs comforts SpongeBob and Patrick by saying he forgives them and was fond of pulling pranks in his youth. However, when they attempt to leave, the Krusty Krab now contains nearly everyone in Bikini Bottom, which also includes Sandy, Squidward, and Mrs. Puff, and Mr. Krabs showcases the "Live, nude pranksters! Starring the Bikini Bottom Ghosts!" SpongeBob and Patrick, now extremely embarrassed, try to cover themselves while everyone looks, cheers and laughs at them. And as the episode concludes, SpongeBob mentions how he and Patrick should have bought the whoopie cushion instead to Patrick.

Ms Neo's video is one of the latest in a viral TikTok trend which sees parents and older siblings prank young children by placing a front-facing phone camera in front of them so they can see themselves, then running out of the room and locking them in as creepy laughter plays and a blue ghost pops up on the screen.

Similarly, Ms Neo's video of herself and her husband pranking their son Kyzo showed the young boy appearing to be so frightened by the "ghost" that he began to scream, cry and jump up and down. Since last Thursday, it has gained 22.9 million views.

A self-proclaimed "millennial auntie", the TikToker acknowledged the need for engaging content creation as part of Ms Neo's job, but suggested that she could use other funny videos or lovey-dovey moments with her kids instead of such pranks.

"Y'all know this trend?" she says as she points to the ghost filter hovering above her face. "If my parents ever do this kind of s*** to me ... instant confirmation ah, of their place in the old folks' home.

Posted on Sunday, Ms Liel's video view count has already hit 77,600. It also attracted a comment from local comedian Fauzi Azzhar, who has gained more than 77,500 views on his own reaction video using the blue ghost filter.

In this video, she again uses the blue ghost filter, but this time with both her and Kyzo smiling at the camera. In the next clip, the young boy can be heard telling his mother: "I want to do (the video) again." 2351a5e196
