I find the sign in option a little bit to intrusive and unnecessary complex for the application we are building, but we still would like to record some information on the user, before they get to see the application. (and once they come back, they should not see the onboarding anymore, unless they switch device).

A byte of data is being stored in a 'char' member variable. It should probably be stored as an 'unsigned char' instead, but that can't be changed. I need to retrieve it through an 'int' variable, but without propagating the sign bit.

When promoting to a wider integer type the value is always "widened" using its signedness, so that the sign is propagated to the new high order bits for signed values. To avoid the sign propagation convert a signed value to its corresponding unsigned type first.

Using as_unsigned eliminates the risk of that explicit cast becoming incorrect after maintenance, should m_data become a wider integer it will use another overload of as_unsigned automatically without requiring the maintainer to manually update the expression. The inverse function as_signed is also useful.

Additionally, you do not need to use any sign-up field. Each form is totally customizable so you are able to simply delete any fields that you would like excluded. Can you provide a few more details about the error you received? I would recommend trying a different type of form and seeing if you receive the same error.

I don't use the Chrome user account features and don't want the browser to know my Google account. In the past I just didn't sign-in to Chrome, signed-in to Google (mostly to sign-in to StackEchange with my Google account) and it seemed Ok. But now as I've updated to Chrome 69 it signs me in to Chrome every time I sign-in to StackExchange with my Google account. Can this behavior be disabled?

I've just set up my Jira Service Desk Portal. The problem I have is that I can't eliminate the signup option before each new customer wants to open a request. How can I open the service desk and just request an e-mail for every customer that opens a ticket?

It's possible to allow people to create tickets without logging in on your site. With that said, the portal will be public, so anyone on the internet can find the customer portal and see the request types.

After that, go to the project that you want them to create tickets and click on Project settings > Customer permissions (if it's a next-gen it's Channels > Customer permissions) and allow anyone to send requests without logging in.

I'm done with plex. So tired of forced sign-in. I can't even access my settings without being redirected to a login page. I get the benifits, but leave the "Use Local"/"Skip Sign In" option for those of us whom don't want/can't use internet to sign in. Just tried to set up plex on my roomates xbox... forced sign in. Now, when you do the clear(), it sounds like your user is automatically getting forced to reauthenticate. Are you clearing their tokens on a SecureRoute where auth is required? Are you attempting to redirect them after you clear the tokens (as the /logout endpoint is handling this for you when you use signOut()) to prevent this re-authentication from occurring/

I believe this is a workable solution without compromising the data security. The email and password is something that you will choose yourself and for me I set verification to false and use a dummy email to use it as an app login. All other functions I control by the app itself.

Thanks @Jeremy_Oglesby, but this is not exactly what I want. I want them not only to access the data, but them to be able to see the data without having to sign up in Airtable. I wonder if that is possible. Again, adding a sign up is a deterrent for people, who just would abandon and not see what data exists there. First they need to see what kind of data exists, and hopefully, if they see value, to be willing to create an account in Airtable, if that is what would allow them to search more data.

I mised the first episode of this and now it appears the only one I can get has sign language on it, which was shown at 0215. There must be a better way of finding programmes without sign language on them - the interpreter takes up a large amount of the screen and is very distracting if you don't need them.

I am trying to share a prototype with a client for design review and it keeps asking them to sign in to an Adobe account. I have been able to share prototypes before without this problem - has something changed? Not all my clients have accounts or will want to make one. I have tried every link type. The app was no longer on my MacBook so I just re-downloaded from the App Store again only to have to signup for a free trial, which I did. The sign-up generated a new personal vault with no other vaults. I now have two emergency kits, my team kit without a master password and a personal kit with a password. Ok, let's start over. Regardless of where I sign-in for my TEAM account, understanding it can't be recovered by an alternate admin teammate because there are no other people on account and my account is the administrator , how can I delete my account and cancel my subscription without my sign-in password? The message that appears after clicking on the TEAM address states "You're part of a team account and can request a recovery". I then click the "request a recovery" and it takes me to a page stating "Ask your administrator to help you recover your account." Therein lies the problem. I can't ask the administrator to reset my password because I am the admin, nor can I reset on my own?

Would you like your customers to view and manage their own tickets? if yes, that is available under Guide Professional. When your users are logged into your Help Center, they can click on their profile picture and select My Activities. That will automatically take them to a list of their tickets in Support and check the individual requests. Unfortunately, customers need to sign in to view their tickets.

Alternatively, if you would like your agents to access or view their assigned ticket while they are outside Support, you can set triggers to send them email notifications. That's quite frustrating that for the Bridge to work one needs to sign-on to Adobe account and the application quits if you don't. It makes it quite useless to be frank. There is no other application that does that. Is it to discourage from using the Bridge?

Yes, exceedingly frustrating to have Adobe sign me out of my account and be unable to access anything until I rummage around looking for a password to try and get back in. Utterly ridiculous time wasting nonsense. Ill thought out, too, as not everybody has constant internet access to just "sign back in" at any time, and in the meantime, you can't access your legally paid for program. Hardly cutting edge. Please fix.
