An FOMOD file is a game file that contains modifications to be installed for a game. These files are installed by mod programs such as Fallout mod manager (FOMM) and Nexus Mod Manager (NMM). The modifications in .fomod files can be related to any aspect of the game, and are published by players or community fans of the game. Mods in the form of FOMOD can extend the life of a game by changing including small changes or complete overhaul to the game.

When I install mods with scripted installers/FOMODs Vortex does not open up the pop-up menu to allow me to make selections for the mod. They are downloaded, unpacked as-is, installed, and enabled without any fomod options shown. I also noticed that neither of three cited mods below are in my plugin tab, not sure if that is an issue or not.

The ModuleConfig.xml file controls how installer options are presented to users who install the file. It should always be located inside a fomod folder inside the mod archive.
