The issue is, I don't know how to activate the flow when the widget is clicked. I think I have to set the widget to launch an Automate activity when clicked, but I don't know where to go from there.

Flows can react to different things including clicks, in this example we will see how to trigger a Flow by clicking anitem and making the flow pick a random file from a folder and show the image on the widget
