The Marine Corps XQ-58A Valkyrie, a highly autonomous, low-cost tactical unmanned air vehicle successfully completed its first test flight October 3, 2023, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. The Marine Corps partnered with the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E)), the Naval Air Systems Command and Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) to facilitate the ongoing research, development, test and evaluation of the Marine Corps XQ-58A Valkyrie.

It's the opening of act 3, scene 1, but it's scenic, with the valkyries arriving one by one and, obviously, singing. (Of course, bits and pieces appear, both in orchestral and vocal form, throughout this and other operas of the Ring; the riding motiv in particular, which is the rhythmic basis of the piece, is used for other riders as well; nevertheless, the well-known orchestral version is an adaption of this opening of act 3, scene 1).

A U.S. Marine Corps XQ-58A Valkyrie, highly autonomous, low-cost tactical unmanned air vehicle, conducts its first test flight with a U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to 96th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Oct. 3, 2023. The XQ-58A Valkyrie test flight and the data collected inform future requirements for the Marine Corps in a rapidly evolving security environment, while successfully fueling joint innovation and experimentation opportunities.

The aircraft performed as expected. The XQ-58A has six planned test flights with objectives including intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions; autonomous electronic support to crewed platforms; AI augmenting combat air patrols; and maturing other manned-unmanned teaming capability objectives.

Sir you have a customer right here when this gets released. Are you planning to make this accurate to the real aircraft as far as flight model and system functionality? The visuals are looking great. Thanks for posting.

Good video that illustrates very clearly the history of this plane, I could watch it forever! The plane had a lot of problems during the first flights, but after all it was extraordinarily efficient considering the complexity of the project and how ahead of its time it was. The second prototype had a lot of improvements and without the collision with the F104 it would have flown for a long time and carried a lot of tests; the model 1 did many flights, and showed to be an excellent aircraft even if it was the first prototype ever built.

Hello people of the Forums, here I am with a feature request, again. This time it is the CO50 Valkyrie. This plane is not unfortunately able to deliver to real life customers just yet very very soon guys, in about a year. This plane is a glass cockpit and capable of holding 4 people, including the pilot. It is a very streamlined design, it has 1 propeller in the rear of the plane and has a canard. It is a beautiful design and will be the fastest GA plane upon completion, with a top speed of 260 KTS. Now, picture having this gorgeous plane in infinite flight, a jet like propeller plane taking off from small airports, or large ones, drawing eyes upon its magnificence. this would be spectacular to have in IF and I think all of you could agree. This plane is manufactured by Cobalt. -aircraft.com

The three-hour flight on an XQ-58A Valkyrie was completed on July 25 at the Eglin Air Force Base in the Florida panhandle, the Air Force said. It was the first successful flight to use AI algorithms that were developed by the AFRL and trained with machine learning (ML). ff782bc1db
