However, for some strange reason, I'm able to use SCC (1.1.3.4) to update to the lastest 6.3.1.34 firmware. Let alone use SCC to reboot the switch. I've tried 2 PCs on the same switch, with the firewall disabled too.

Ring Bridge only connected 8 devices even though I was advised it could connect more. The firmware will not update beyond 12.0000282. Level 1 and Level 2 supoort walked me through rebooting the bridge, change wifi networks, removing all connected pathway lights and resetting the bridge. Device will not pulldown new firmware. I plan on connecting 8 pathway lights, so I need the firmware addressed. thanks

and my has a number only. i completely reset it and reinstalled my bridge to the network and it DID NOT try and upgrade the firmware. under health it still ONLY gives me a number. it does not say up to date as all the online instructions suggest. this why i am so confused. any ideas? thank you for the help

Hi @docfish. I would check to make sure that your Ring app is up to date. Try updating your Ring app to see if this causes a change in what your see for the firmware version. If after updating the Ring app, you still see the same thing, it would be best to follow up with our support team. They will be able to look at your specific account details and find a way to remedy this for you.

Reading your description, it looks like you started with an update of the internal BLE dongle, which failed at 44%. Then after you connected the VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle, you successfully updated the SmartShunt part, but this update does not update the internal BLE dongle part. That can only be done using via a Bluetooth connection to the internal dongle. So the internal dongle is still in firmware update mode (this is signaled by the alternating red/blue LEDs) and the only way to fix this is by connecting to the internal dongle and restarting the update.

Updating the shunt firmware to v4.14 will not resolve your problem with the internal dongle. The improvements in v4.14 are only for updates of the SmartShunt part itself. So it is not necessary to install that version.

question if anyone can help. i have fiber 1k-1k with 2 ps5s a pc a labtop and two phones connected to it. allthough when i game at most only 2 ps5s and my pc is running. should i even enabke congestion control for bufferbloat or do i have enough bandwith that i should just leave it off. p.s this new firmware smartqos is amazing

Ranked was so bad for me last night woth smart Qos i was gettong bullet sponge i jad geo filter on getting 10ms lobbies but was so bad had to evetially tale geo filter off and give host to a party member .

So I finally managed to get Creality Cloud to add my CR-10 Smart Pro and the first thing it did was tell me to update the firmware - so i went through the wizard and now it seems to either be stuck on "Updating Firmware" or taking an incredibly long time (over 30 minutes so far).

I have two Smart UPS 2200 with the network management card and I am trying to locate the firmware along with the process on how to update the firmware. I am currently on APC OS Version v3.5.5 and it is an AP9617 UPS model number. I have tried to locate the firmware to download and well I have not ha any luck. Any advise or direction would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I am having same issue with a smart plug. I have tried turning off plug with the app and back on with the app.. no issues. I tried to manually do update but the update keeps failing. The plug is about ten feet from the router and there are no walls. I am using the 2.4 band internet. Any suggestions as to why the update would not be working?

after rebooting again I went straight to account and tried firmware update and it worked. move light closer to router on some of them. unfortunately. After Buffalo blizzard and lack of internet. 2 units bricked up and will not be recognized in wifi finder. ROKU should make a manual entry of mac in app to help. So 2 of 4 back are dead in the water and questioning reliability if these.

I've gotten repeated failures updating Tacx Neo Smart Bike firmware from 0.40 to 0.41. Previously with the Utility App, now with the Training App. It progresses about 15% or so, then it says it's rebooting and progresses no further. Tacx support keeps telling me to disconnect, unplug for an hour or more, and try again. But I've done this a dozen times already, and the update still fails. Could it be the bike? Should I ask for a warranty return or replacement?

What kind of mobile phone do You have? Try to disable and re-enable the BT in the phone. The another solution could be a different (and reliable ) mobile with good BT , older Samsungs are perfect, S7, S8 , with not the newest Android (the latest Androids could be always problem for firmware update). the Iphones are not recommended neither .

I have a new Tacx Neo Smart Bike with firmware 0.39. I tried as suggested to upgrade the firmware to 0.41 with the Tacx Training app with Huawei Android Smartphone. Unfortunately it did not work. I tried with Samsung Galaxy Tab S5. Did not work. Then I tried very Old Samsung J4. Did also not work. Does anybody have an idea waht else could help to upgrade?

I also have a RepRapDiscount FULL GRAPHIC Smart Controller and I would like to use that instead. I downloaded the Prusa firmware from the github and changed the configuration.h file to use the full graphics controller and changed the screen size to 128 & 64. I successfully built the firmware.info.hex file and flashed it to the printer but the screen is still black. I can't access the printer in any way. I can connect to it through the octoprint but none of the controls work.

The firmware is setup for the 2004 LCD but I want to change the firmware to use the full graphics 12864. I've changed it in the firmware and changed the line widths from 20 x 4 to 128 x 64 but the screen is still black. Maybe it is the motherboard then.

The firmware needs more than just the LCD size changed. You need to actually program it to speak the LCD's language. Character LCDs and graphical LCDs have different controllers (and communications). Since the Mk3 design does not support a graphical LCD, I would not be surprised if support was removed (assuming it was originally there and inherited from Marlin) to make space for other features. You might be able to re-add it by merging relevant bits from the main marlin repository, but you're still in uncharted waters, and have no guarantees it will work as you think it should without significant additional work. It may not even be pin-compatible with the EINSY.

Your issue with the 20x4 displays sounds more like a cabling problem. I would inspect your LCD cable's routing and check the cable for damage and that it is securely fastened at both ends. The wonky SD slot is a known issue but it doesn't sounds like the rest of the LCD is damaged, especially since you said that bumping it is what caused problems. I'd start by reverting the firmware and going back to the one with the janky slot. If that at least displays, then try the replacement 2004.

I transferred to another wifi router and was able to connect and upgrade the firmware. After seeing the message "Looks good" or something similar, I closed Kasa, mobile app and unplugged the Smart plug. To my surprise, the device stopped working. Tried pressing the reset but failed. What should I do? 2351a5e196
