Download Filezilla Mint

I'm trying to upload some files on my website and I'm running Linux Mint latest version. So, they told me i need a ftp client to do this, and also read about an hour - "top ftp clients". For me filezilla is good, but i don't know how to run it on Linux.

Thanks for the installation guidelines. It was a breeze and I am able to transfer files especially books into my ipad from the desktop. On the ipad i am using a ftp client from easyftppro. The sudo apt-get install filezilla asked me a confirmation question and was hanging with no activity. I had no alternative but to cycle power to the pc,

I am working on server files temporarily through filezilla in ubuntu 11.10. Sometimes when i close the file from my IDE, filezilla crashes and it does not working properly. If i try to close the filezilla, it does not closes. So, is there any way to close the filezilla through terminal ? Any help kindly appreciated. Thanks.

we have a small conveyancing business with a little win10 lan of five machines.Is that good enough to meet your business environment requirement?If so:i'd like to put ftp on it somewhere so I set up iis ftp server on one.but all I ever can get is 'server closed the connection' whenever i try to ftp to the site.I've tried from localhost via ftp on cmd and via address bar on firefox and from filezilla on that same machine and via ftp from terminal sessions on a couple of remote linux mint machines.all machines seem to make the connection alright but report it gets immediately closed.I switched off the firewall for a test and that didn't fix it so it's not the firewall.I can ping the IP okay whenever.We have a static IP. e24fc04721
