Hello all, I play a lot of emulators on my s8 and most work with Samsung's Game Tools app. When playing a game, the game tools options are located on the android nav bar allowing you to record the screen while your playing, an option to go full screen, and other game related options. My problem is that on PPSSPP the fullscreen ticker is greyed out and I'm unable to use PPSSPP in fullscreen on the s8. Any ideas?

I have been really wanting to go through mhfu again my issue is that my psp is super old and the joystick doesn't work perfectly, I can still play it but I would prefer to play on pc if possible. Has anyone played through the game on the emulator? Can you play multi-player? Is the game buggy or a subpar experience to playing on the actual consol? Thank you.

I am used to running emulators for older systems such as Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and PSX, as they are usually NOT very hardware-demanding for even older machines, and are pretty common sources of entertainment for many low-spec PC owners.

Extracting JP text from PSP games running on PPSSPP emulator was considered to be only a pipedream until the amazing Jiichi added PPSSPP support to his text hooker program Visual Novel Reader (VNR) back in July 2014. Until a few years back ,a lot of people including myself used VNR for this purpose, but after some time VNR support for PPSSPP came to a halt, and eventually the its server died (the offline program was partially dependent on it). Eventually there was a new server, but the software is still outdated and buggy, and windows 10 updates broke the program for me and many others. There is still the option to download

The first thing you'll notice when you run PPSSPP (developed by one of the authors of Dolphin, the most powerful Gamecube and Wii emulator out there) for the first time is the large number of setting options. You can activate Vsync, anisotropic filtering and texture scaling, among others.

The list of games that are compatible with PPSSPP is also impressive: Disgaea, Patapon, Soul Calibur, Little Big Planet, Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and GTA: Vice City Stories are just a few examples that you can play on your Android using this emulator.

The emulator was initially released in the fall of 2012. Written in C and C++, it benefits from regular updates and upgrades. The project is still ongoing and promises to dominate the market due to its high compatibility. You can literally bring PSP games to almost any system out there without any major bugs.

I am using a generic dragonrise arcade stick and for both ot these 2 emulators controls not works , or better, on ppsspp button works but the pad stick going only down and right ( also if i open the control mapping settings i am unable to pair the stick )

Currently there is no input auto configuration script for either of these emulators. I will probably create the input script for duckstation soon as it looks like it could be done relatively easy. PPSSPP however has a very strange configuration so you will be much better off using retroarch libretro PPSSPP and manually configuring the core controls in the input settings in retrearchs menu (while you have launched the game).

I have the same usb card with my joystick, and your configuration has worked for me, but there is no key mapped to exit the emulator. I have entered the emulator configuration with a keyboard, and I have mapped the exit key and some other buttons, but the configuration is not saved and it reapplies the one from the gamecontrollerdb.txt file

Me and a certain friend have been trying to get it to work on the emulator. Since it's a plugin and PPSSPP does not support plugins yet, I don't think there's an easy way to use the cheat device with the emulator. I have heard, however, of a way to use the Cheat Device with a rooted device, I don't really know how though.

Is there no way to exit out of this emulator with a single button when you're in a game? I've combed through all of the options and looked at their FAQ but I don't even see a mention of this. Right now I'm having to press ESC and manually select "Exit to Menu" and the "Exit" button with my mouse. I'm sure there's a quicker way?

Well, for me, not having this stuff in the command line parameters like "--escape-exit" involved a few extra steps in PPSSPP for me to get out of the emulator (involving the use of my mouse). It's nice to be able to press a single key like "ESC" to get back into the LB UI. That's how I want all my emulators to behave when I'm trying to exit them. Though, I doubt I'm gonna get that kinda cooperation from Kega Fusion without dealing with some kinda strange annoying behavior.

I don't know if I'm running PPSSPP as an admin? Also, I couldn't find ALT+F4 in PPSSPP as a means to close the emulator completely when I looked through the options yesterday. Maybe I just missed it when I was scan reading through the options.

Since I run mostly standalone emulators, I find they can use different key presses or a sequence of key presses to exit the emulator entirely and I'd prefer to keep it all uniform and simply use ESC.

Kega Fusion behaves strangely in LaunchBox for me and for others. When I'm done playing a game, I press ESC and by default this is either supposed to make the emulator full screen or shrink the window of the emulator. Since my game is already full screen, it will shrink the window, but you'll hear an annoying audio loop of whatever game music is currently playing for about 3 seconds. To avoid this you'd need to press SHIFT+TAB to power off the emulator then press ESC.

I also find it strange how when I double click a game in LB or when I load a game from Kega then hit escape, it keeps the emulator window on the screen for 3 or so seconds until the game loads (being picky with this I know). I mostly want to avoid the audio loop that I mentioned -- if it were possible to map SHIFT+TAB+ESCAPE into one bind in that order.

Alt+F4 is not a setting in PPSSPP it is just what the developers set as the key command to close the emulator. If you open PPSSPP and hit Alt+F4 you will see it close. Same with Kega Fusion. "Escape" for Kega is the full screen command so trying to map something to send the keyboard key of "Escape" is going to do exactly as you are seeing.

What happens when you map these options is LB/BB will send some of the common commands to the emulator to close it. When you hit the key/button(s) you mapped It will send commands like "Alt+F4", "Ctrl+Q", "Escape" until it finds one that closes the emulator.

You would have to know all the inner workings and hardware details of PSP, which are business secrets of Sony and therefore not published. The way most emulators are made is reverse engineering, a process in which the device itself is disassembled and its inner workings are studied. That includes analyzing the chips thoroughly, reading the contents of ROM chips and sometimes even deciphering encrypted data. Full analysis usually requires specialized equipment and years of engineering experience.

PPSSPP Gold APK : PPSSPP is an popular emulator for Android devices which allows you to run Games andother popular roms in android devices via the downloaded ISO & CSO Rom files. So, if you are a PPSSPP loverthen you are onthe right place. PPSSPP Emulator is really amazing forplaying games in the android devices. But the original PPSSPP has some limitations in it but the PPSSPP Goldhas all thepremium features unlocked.

You can't go wrong with this emulator. A PC version is solid and the android version is just as good.Worth the money and the games I play work fine. Now, not every game is perfect. This is still a work inprogress. However,it's the best PSP emulator you will find on both PC & Android. Very simple to use, no useless features &sloppy menus. ff782bc1db
