When using the RDP session of fleet manager, I get strange errors when trying to type into certain windows. For example, I can type into the search bar and notepad, but when I open a PowerShell window, it doesn't respond to key inputs. The Command window works but the PowerShell window is what I use for a lot of admin tasks. Its making fleet manager almost unusable now. Is there a way to fix this?

Once the "Name" tag has been added/updated this should in turn update "node name". Alternatively you can set a "Name" tag on your EC2 instance from the EC2 Dashboard which should update the node name as well.

The File system view displays a read-only view onto the file system of the selected instance. This can be particularly useful for viewing text-based log files, for example, where I can preview up to 10,000 lines of a log file and even tail it to view changes as the log updates. I used this to open and tail an IIS web server log on my Windows Server instance. Having selected the instance, I next select View file system from the Instance actions dropdown (or I can click the Instance ID to open a view onto that instance and select File system from the menu displayed on the instance view).

Thanks @tobimori for your feedback! Yeah, my goal would be to be able to provide at least the application-sided monitoring tools within one application. Gathering error logs from Kirby (a hook on system.exception) would also be a nice feature I think.

Hey guys, many thanks for all of your opinions! After your cautious but overall very positive feedback, I decided to give it a shot! In the following, I want to give you some insight into my ideas and considerations as well as my progress on the kirby fleet manager (short: kfm):

The overall goal is to display all relevant metrics from the Kirby system tab and give some helpful advices. Currently, it only visually indicates if Kirby is at the latest version (green) or not (orange). The next step here is to give more insights by parsing and distinguish between feature (orange) and necessary updates (red). And the same also for Plugins. Additionally, also the known incidents will be listed on the details page for a website, as in the Kirby system tab.

Very interesting and good idea. It would be nice aswell to display plugin versions (maybe only from selected ones). For e.g i have a template for my customers and this would be a nice way to keep track of outdated versions.
