Indeed I don't want to to use any copyrighted images or fonts I don't have the license for. Right now titles etc can be added w/ the custom background option but I'm hoping to eventually add some other features to do with the background design/festival title but I'm still thinking about it.

Playing around with it, it's truly awesome, but if you're looking for feedback it would be cool if when you upload your own bg image it could be set to cover the poster area, instead of right now it gets skewed if it's not the right dimensions!

You can put any image from your computer in the background that you want, but right now it will stretch the image to fit the default poster size of 1080x1440. I'm thinking of ways to improve the custom background feature but for now you'd have to create or find a background that suits those dimensions.

I've been trying to make a fake poster for the last hour. It's honestly difficult to even think of who could play, then putting them in the right order, and making sure they're not already ruled out? Ffs. I realized its really hard as I usually dont know half the lineup anyways so trying to plug in names in the right spot when I have never listened to them. At some point I gave up trying to make sense of anything.

Since you guys are going with two alternating text colors I made an update to the site that lets you choose how many colors to alternate through. That way you aren't seeing two yellow names in a row every 7 band names.

It's almost the end of the year, which means it's almost time for everyone to share their Spotify listening habits. But while we wait for this year's Spotify Wrapped to be released, a new app has arrived to tide us over.

Created by University of Southern California student Anshay Saboo, Instafest is a graphic generator that displays your most-played artists on Spotify as though they're the lineup of the world's most personalised music festival. They also look good enough that if you've seen any you might have thought they were advertising real events.

Instafest will then create your own personal festival lineup, populated by the artists you've been listening to the most. We probably won't ever see BTS playing alongside the Beach Boys, but it's nice to dream.

If the resulting poster isn't to your liking, there are a few options to customise it further. Instafest can select your top artists from either the last four weeks, the last six months, or all-time, which may impact how many days your festival lasts.

You can also switch up the aesthetics by toggling between three different styles. These include the Malibu Sunrise's summer beach party, LA Twilight's late night city vibe, or Mojave Dusk's wild desert. Instafest automatically names your festival after your Spotify username as well, but you can hide it if you want to share your lineup without other people potentially snooping on your account.

Since Instafest is still in the beta stage for Apple Music, users might encounter some glitches. Most commonly, the platform may show an error that says it can't find the Apple Music Replay playlist. If this happens, Instafest suggests that users try reloading the website and logging into Apple Music again.

Once in, Apple Music users can start customizing their Instafest poster style and choose between the three available style options. In addition, they can also customize their desired festival name and download the image onto their device to share it elsewhere. Unfortunately, the ability to pick top artists from a specific duration such as the last four weeks, last six months, and all time is not available, like it is for Spotify users.

Instafest isn't the only festival generator available. There's another once called Festify that's been around for much longer. Unfortunately, Festify doesn't work with Apple Music, and is exclusive to Spotify. This isn't exactly surprising, given that Spotify allows integration with several third-party platforms, unlike Apple Music that is notoriously close-walled.

Like Instafest, Festify displays a festival lineup based on a person's listening history. Users can choose different durations, with choices of the last month, last six months, and all time available. Once the time period is entered, a festival lineup will be displayed with a user's top artists. Unlike Instafest, Festify doesn't offer any customization options for the poster. The poster itself is also quite drab, with no colorful background or fun fonts. So while Apple Music users don't have access to Festify, they aren't missing out on much.

Instafest is a massive trend on the social media spectrum now, especially as people share it on their accounts and flaunt their artist lineup online, which also reflects their most listened-to artists and preferences. Well, it is an online app focusing on a music festival generator that bases its data on one's Spotify account, using one's listening preferences to complete the lineup.

Instafest.app is an online music festival generator available for all to try for free, with the platform offering a way to read Spotify data and one's preferences to create a lineup for users that they may share.

The app also offers different styles that would match their fantasy music festival with their theme preference including Malibu Sunrise, a dark theme called LA Twilight, and a sunset feature called Mojave Dusk.

Spotify is still the largest audio streaming platform in the world, and it trumps other rivals and industry giants with the Swedish company's services which it introduced almost two decades ago, in 2006. Now, the company's fame is massive, as subscription-based streaming services are at the center now, almost close to reaching a 200 million paying subscriber threshold.

Apart from Spotify's music library, it also holds other novelty experiences including podcasts from content creators who bring in their work to the platform for better distribution and consumption by the public. Additionally, it is also famous for its Audiobook experience where users may listen to narrators reading literary pieces. 152ee80cbc
