Liquid Death Presents Download Festival has a dedicated Disabled Access Team working all year round to assist customers with disabilities. Members of the Disabled Access Team will also be present on site in both the campsite and the arena throughout the festival.

Customers still need to complete the Access Application Form for each show they are attending, however, they will be pre-approved for access at our festivals so long as their requirements remain the same.

If you are staying in RIP camping or Rock Retreat, please ensure both the access customer and the PA/Companion have purchased tickets for the same RIP or Rock Retreat campsite.

If staying in a RIP or Rock Retreat accommodation, please ensure the accommodation is large enough to host your party and PA.

As AVPs have a limited capacity, these are strictly for Access Customers and their PA/Companion. If customers have several people attending the festival with them, they can swap their PA/Companion access to the AVP throughout the festival.

We can accommodate a limited number of campervans in the Access Campsite. To bring a campervan, please select this option in your application. We will then email you the link to purchase an Access Campervan Ticket.

Do not buy a General Campervan as tickets cannot be transferred over to the accessible campsite.

Patrons with disabilities do not need to purchase a specific type of ticket for entrance into the Festival. Festival tickets are available as a General Admission Single Day Ticket, General Admission Weekend Packages, or VIP Ticket Packages. Please purchase a General Admission or VIP Ticket and accommodations will be made for you on-site. Click here for more information on tickets.

After entering the festival, if you have a disability and need an accommodation please stop by the Access Center. The Access Center is located in front of the Grandstand in between the Gentilly Blvd and Sauvage St pedestrian gates.

Unfortunately, Festival staff members are not permitted to provide golf cart rides or wheelchair push service from shuttle drop-off locations or entry gates to the PVA Booth. Please enter the festival at the Gentilly Pedestrian Gate for the shortest accessible route to the PVA Booth.

All patrons are allowed to bring their own personal folding chair and umbrella into the general seating areas of the festival. If use of a personal chair in general seating meets your needs, please utilize general seating.

Accessible portable toilets are located conveniently around the festival grounds. The portable toilets are locked to prevent misuse. Please stop by the Access Center when you arrive to request this accommodation, obtain the code, and a map that shows the location of the accessible portable toilets.

Animals will be screened by Access staff upon entry to the festival. Patrons with animals that are not fully trained will be asked to remove their animal from the Festival. Patrons may return without the animal. Ticketing refunds will be reviewed by Access staff on a case-by-case basis.

Free carer tickets are not available for children 12 years and under but can still apply for the accessible add-ons. If you need to buy a Teen ticket and apply for a free carer please tick the box on the confirmation form and we will send you a link to purchase the Teen ticket.

Accessible customers aged 13 and over as at 20 June 2024 are entitled to apply for one free PA ticket. The carer must be at least 18 years as at 20 June 2024. The role of the carer is to accompany and assist the disabled customer and should be with them at all times.

Carers should familiarise themselves with the Festival site and facilities so they can assist the disabled customer fully during their time at the Festival. Carers cannot bring children in with them. Any children in the same party must be with another ticket holding, non-carer adult unless they are the children of the access customer.

The Festival can be very busy and noisy at certain times, particularly around the Main Stage and Big Top. There are likely to be queues to collect tickets and wristbands, for the access loos and to buy food and drink. Several of our bars have lowered bar fronts- please check the website nearer the time for the names and locations of these bars.

Free PA tickets and Access A and B wristbands will be collected when you arrive at the Festival. They will not be posted in advance. Free PA tickets will not show in your Ticketmaster account. Access customers (adults and teens) will need to bring PHOTO ID to collect their free carer ticket and Access wristbands. Only photo ID is acceptable.

To find out if the venue you will be attending has an indication loop or wheelchair space, or to reserve a parking space (blue badge holders only), please inform the Box Office staff when booking your tickets. Disabled access toilets are available on site.

We can send you the programme in Microsoft word format, which can be enlarged, and is more easily read by text to speech software. We are also happy to make bookings on your behalf, simply email accessibility@hayfestival.com if you require further help.
