So yes, I wanna ask about what will happen after the trial ends, does it automatically renew the license and charge, or does it just disable itself and that's it? I'm having a very urgent issue rn and need to scan my PC, but I don't intend to use it any further than a second opinion scanner.

Generally if you need to use a credit card to get a free trial you will be entering into an auto renewal service and be billed when the free trial ends. So if you have provided credit card details then you will need to cancel the service yourself.

Hello so basically i was doing my thing until eset decided to send me a pop up telling my trial license was about to expire, but it already expired since a month so i was like wait what?? then after i inspected more the pop up it said my license gonna expire in -17 days which i think is kinda funny of seeing this message appear and no idk how that happened netheir why it did but it did and no it isn't a modified (It in french but it basically says my license gonna expire in -17 days as i said earlier on) here is the pop up i had (Still have it on my screen as i am typing this but will remove it soon)

Also i found a way to have infinite trial license on eset, basically you uninstall eset, then remove all resedual file and then re install it and click free trial and use another email and have another 30 days for free without paying, i don't know if a lot of user know that but that what i do since, uhhh i don't know how many time and i was gonna do it for re having a protection again also thanks for telling my i had a trojan applauncher.exe i will look it up

I don't know but i am pretty sure it is also idk how a big av company didn,t saw a bug like this allowing ppl to use it for free every 30 days also no i won't share this method to youtube or anything else since well it isn't really good for eset netheir to have user that abuse of a bug to reset the trial i think they should do a method like kaspersky that makes a registry that kaspersky and other app to uninstall don't detect to prevent trial resseter that easy

OK. Now I think Eset & Surun are not fully compatible. Now after successful trial activate:

when I click any option It show me Surun Window not UAC, trying to run eeclnt.exe

but after that nothing happened.

Strange. I was running standard user as every day. And Eset gui was started by default autostart entry, and it doesn't show me UAC window, also as I descibed I'm using Surun, it's window also does not shows when I was clicking activate trial.

The fact is that when I was few first times trying to activate trial there was only Eset screen called "Veryfing" and loading circle. No e-mail ask Window, No UAC, no Surun Window, after about 10 mins return to main window.

Hello: I've used SS for some years, though I've used an alternative for a few months but decided to go back to ESET. Downloaded & installed OK as trial, (latest version) Bought the full product & got a key - I then went into activate & the key was accepted OK & showed the name of the PC & I clicked done.

I now though have though the info on the home screen - 'You are protected - Your free trial expires in 364 days' This is also at the bottom of the home screen. However under where it gives the last update time next to the picture of a key it says: 'Licence valid until 3/3/17'

I tried uninstalling again & reinstalling to no avail, so I tried again using and also used the Eset Uninstaller in Safe Mode & then manually removed all remaining Eset folders & registry entries (including hidden) with the same result & used no trial.. I then restored a full C:\ image I did a few days ago & installed using the full 64 bit SS installer (did not use the trial) which surprisingly gave exactly the same result as in the screenshot.The only thing I can think of is this PC did have Eset SS on back in November when I installed Windows 10 which is when I later used an alternative AV but then had had a full version of SS on for some time - Everything I've tried today & last night has given the same result as in the screenshot. I too have a similar issue after buying a new 1 yr license digital version so just the un activated key supplied , after i entered it in to eset v9 it displayed this trial info of 365 days ?? and there hasn't been a trial license used on this pc any ideas?

according to their website.. whats the point in them offering a free 90day trial.. if the damn thing ISNT WORKING.. ACt.7 wrong product.. when i got to their website it then offers me a 30day trial.. aka the same thing i've just installed. talk about F*ed up.

ran the trial.exe file in post 1.. after making sure i had the internet working.. funny.. told me i had no internet..considering i opened facebook to chat to a friend whilst installing.. closed it.. rerun.. downloaded.. and installed.. again.. waited.. tried to activate whilst installing FAILED.. so i thought maybe wait until the end.. aka the page you type in your email address.. and yet again.. IT FAILED.. ACT.7 bottom right corner.. wrong product with the wrong code. again.. telling me to download the 30day trial. which is exactly the same F*ing program just with a different code.

ok.. i reinstalled again.. and took screenshots.. and guess what.. FAILED again.. i like the fact that after i reboot after uninstalling.. and i run my browser to make sure the internet is running.. aka connection.. the installer when run tells me i have no internet.. i close the installer and run it again without doing anything else and the 2nd time it starts download the installer..
