Neal, I am sorry you are having issues. I believe you may have to authorize your account to run the script. Open up the script editor to validate that the script is in fact there. the script is called Envelope. Click on the run button and it should ask (this is from memory) If the script is working just not the templates we can discuss further.

As far as the initial funding of envelopes or adjustments. Its easy if you are starting at zero, but that is never the case so I had to do the same thing as I was migrating existing envelopes to this new system. The way I did it was to set an initial balance entries in the transaction sheets. really this was just a amount to make my envelopes balance my Mvelopes program

Youi may want ot put in a manual adjustment for the income so it starts off with a correct balance. YO ucan do thi seither manually or via the envelope tab. Howver you will have to unhide the income field by goign to the categories tab and removing the hide entry form the income category

Yes you can use this envelope template along side your others one. You will need to add a few columns to your categories. If you look at the one in the template you will see a few fields in blue that you need to add.

Be sure to follow the printing directions for each template so you get the correct size. I always like to double-check the size after I've printed it out. You can do this by taking a ruler and making sure that the measurements are what they are supposed to be.

You've created a template via the DocuSign UI; that template contains a 'placeholder' document (which you will replace at run-time via your Create/Send Envlope API call) and defines the recipient(s) and tabs for that document.

When you create/send the envelope via API, you want to specify the document as part of the API request (i.e., to be used instead of the 'placeholder' document that the DocuSign template contains) and also auto-populate some of the tabs that the template defines.

If that's an accurate description of what you're trying to achieve, then you need to use Composite Templates in the API request structure. Coin envelopes with their slightly rounded corners and sweet flaps have always been a favorite of mine. I love tucking pictures, journaling, Victorian trade cards, specimen cards, lace, notes, memorabilia, and fussy cut ephemera inside. The standard envelope pales in comparison to charming and overly antique coin envelope. (Although, these vintage envelopes do give them a run a for their money.)

I created my own templates a couple years ago when I was trying to figure out the right x-height to address envelopes. After some tweaking and experimenting, I settled into using the 5mm x-height for most of my envelopes. However, for smaller envelopes (ex: RSVP ones), I do recommend going smaller with the 4mm x-height so that you don't run out of space.

These templates include clearly marked x-heights, 55 degree slant lines, centered line, and the baseline is spaced apart justttt right for you to add in some flourishes without the letters looking cramped. HOW TO USE THEM

You can use these templates for both light and dark envelopes. I like to print them out on cardstock white paper so that it's more sturdier and I can reuse them again. You simply place your envelope on top of the template and use the center line as your reference point to keep your lines centered. If you are aligning every line to the left, you may want to draw in more vertical lines that's more personalized to your needs.

The first step is to make a copy of a default envelope template that matches the size of the envelope to which you will be printing. Inside the Marketing menu, select Template Library, and then click Envelope Library.

To the right of the envelope you wish to use, click the Create Personal Copy icon . You can then enter a name for your new template and select the Personal Category in which to save it. When finished, click Save & View Envelope.

To insert an image, click the Insert Picture Frame from File icon in the toolbar. Browse your computer to select the desired image and click Open. The image will appear in the template at its original size. Once you have designed your remittance envelope on our template, go to our ordering page and follow the directions on the screen. Select quantity and color options after you upload your template and add your remittance envelope to the cart, it's as easy as that!

No matter which option you choose, it's a good idea to know the dimensions of the envelope you want to create, in inches. For example, a No. 9 envelope (typical reply envelope for a mailing) and No. 10 (typical outer envelope).
