The final result from Godaddy is that they don't support any email clients, and that I should use Microsoft Mail to get my mails. On the problem of the password no longer working, they say that they have farmed out all mail operations to Microsoft and there are no other paths to follow. My hunch is that the password is being rejected by Microsoft because it's being sent from Thunderbird, and I can't figure out any way around it. I have 2GB of space to store my emails on Godaddy's servers, in about a week that will fill up and I assume all further mails will be bounced. I can access them through the web interface but that eats up gobs of my data cap so that's not a viable solution. I can delete them off the Godaddy servers but there's no way for me to save them to my home PC so they'll be lost forever, including mails from my doctors.

Allowing email addresses or domain names never marks email from them as spam. If you select Restricted Mode when you set up spam filters, senders must be on your Allowed List for their emails to deliver to your Inbox.

After you complete the steps given above, your accounts will be connected to transfer emails from GoDaddy to Google Workspace successfully. Unfortunately, this method may not be feasible for all users. This is because it comes with certain limitations, making it an unappealing choice to accomplish the task.

team i have office 365 with godaddy and we know that they are using their own versions rebranded names of office 365 packages and I wish to move from godaddy to another O365 reseller. Based on my findings, its not something easy similar to just changing billing and sending reseller links. and only way is to migrate and consider godaddy a different source email system.

Interestingly, I have installed Millette's mailtest plugin ( _mailtest), and when I use that, I can send emails from Moodle to wherever I want. This indicates that the relay server is correctly set up, and suggests (to me at least) that CRON is working.

I have a refurbished iMac, 2019, Ventura. I tried to ad all my Godaddy, emails to Mail . All gmail emails had no problem. I even could add one of my Godaddy emails . The other one could be added but stays offline. Although I can send emails from the account via the outlook356 server. The account works perfectly on my iPhone. How can I make sure that I can receive all my emails on the other Godaddy account as well?

That means you don't have to use GoDaddy webmail interface! You can check your emails using other email programs (like Mailbird, Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird). Using desktop email programs will make you more productive and your email will always be available, even offline.

The short answer is that IMAP connects to your email providers' server and is used for receiving email while SMTP is used for sending mail to other servers.

IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) is a protocol that requests that your email provider will save all of your messages and folders onto its own servers. This way, whether you are using an email client or webmail, you will be able to connect to your email account and view anything you have received because it's always stored on their server.

STMP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is the protocol for sending emails out of your account to other destinations. It enables your email client to connect to the server of your provider to send outgoing mail, especially to other servers.

If it is important to you to save space on your desktop, or if you're worried about backing up your emails, select IMAP. This means that your emails will be stored on the server of your email provider.

POP3 will download your emails to be stored locally and then delete them from the server. This will free up space on your server, but if anything happens to your local storage, those emails won't be available online. If you are comfortable exclusively having a local copy of your files, POP3 is a viable option.

If your old emails are still available in your account, they will automatically be imported. IMAP protocol syncs your emails and folders with the email server, making it possible to manage your emails on any device that is connected to your account.

Once you add your GoDaddy account to Mailbird, it will grant you access to your emails immediately, no further action is required.

Note: If your emails are from your local server, it won't be possible to import them because of IMAP protocols.

Enter the email address you wish to use to send emails from and click send verification email. Verify your email address with the confirmation email we send you, or immediately authenticate your domain to automatically verify your email.

When you set up your GoDaddy email (@yourdomain.com), you will be able to forward all the mail from it to your Gmail inbox. You can also set it up so that you can send emails with your @yourdomain.com address directly from Google instead of having to log in to your GoDaddy email account.

We have 8 people that need emails addresses in our company. 3 need email only, while 5 need emails and the features from Google Apps. We would like to continue to host email for the 3 on GoDaddy, while using Google Apps for the 5. When we insert the MX records in GoDaddy, the 3 no longer could send/receive email, since we were redirecting email to Google. ff782bc1db
