The New Jersey Department of Education will work as expeditiously as possible with the State Board of Education to implement the requirements set forth in P.L. 2023, c. 180. A teacher candidate who meets all other eligibility requirements to receive an alternative certificate of eligibility, except for the requirement to achieve a minimum score on a Commissioner of Education-approved test of basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills, may be issued a certificate. As such, school districts will be permitted to hire individuals when additional procedures are put in place. We look forward to sharing additional information when available.

As of January 2011, TEA no longer mails paper certificates. The virtual certificate is considered to be the official record of educator certification in Texas that satisfies the Texas Education Code, 21.053(a). All current, expired and inactive certificates will be displayed. View official certification records for Texas educators using the link below. First and last names must be entered to locate an educator's certificate. The name must match what is in the TEA database. Current certificates, and any certificate history if applicable, is available by clicking the link at the top of the certificate.

Please use Google Chrome when viewing your certificate. You need to ensure the "official record date" at the bottom of your certificate shows the present date. You may need to clear your cache/cookies and refresh the page.

TEA does not provide individually-prepared letters of professional standing, program detail, information or verification of Texas educator's certification status. If your state provides a PDF fillable form to verify your certificate, you may submit it through our help desk.

Students interested in child development, neuroscience and the process of learning, or education-related policies, for example, may wish to complement their current major with this substantive program in education. Students intending to pursue the Education and Educational Services Certificate should visit the School of Education's Certificate Programs page to complete the declaration form. The declaration for this certificate program can be submitted at any time during the calendar year.

Please note: Students completing a course of study designed to lead to teacher certification are not eligible to complete the EES certificate. This also includes School of Education degree students pursuing the education studies or communication sciences and disorders majors. Other students completing a major within the School of Education are limited to 6 credits of overlap between their major and the certificate; that is, no more than 6 credits of coursework used to satisfy requirements for a major within the School of Education may also be counted toward completion of the EES certificate.

There is no formal prerequisite structure to the certificate, although students will generally be expected to take CURRIC 240 Critical Aspects of Teaching, Schooling, and Education first, followed by the two remaining Foundation courses and then the two Focus courses.

This certificate may be completed within the context of an undergraduate degree or as a Special student after an undergraduate degree has been awarded from any institution. The certificate may be completed in its entirety while enrolled as a Special student. Candidates are encouraged to contact the certificate coordinator to discuss course enrollment and the sequencing of certificate requirements.

The online course, alone, is NOT a qualification for a hunter education certificate. Once you have completed an online course, you will still need to attend a 4-hour follow up class with a certified Hunter Education Instructor. Access is permitted to the 4-hour follow-up class only after a student has completed the written Home Study or Online component of the class.

The Graduate Certificate in Engineering Education is designed for graduate students interested in pursuing engineering faculty positions upon graduation. This certificate program will prepare students for the instructional aspects of a faculty career and increase their competitiveness for faculty jobs. Courses are active, discussion-based and focused on applying research on learning to the engineering pedagogy.

Graduate students seeking this certificate will gain experience in teaching undergraduate engineering courses, learn more about research on teaching and learning, develop their own ideas and philosophy on teaching and create materials that will help in their faculty job search.

Anyone is eligible to take the class and receive a safety education completion certificate. For children under 12 years of age, the certificate does not become valid until the child reaches 12. Students with special needs must contact the instructor at least two weeks in advance of the course to request special accommodations.

Courses vary depending on the area of the state and time of the year. There is at least one class per county per year. Click the enroll button above to search for a recreational safety education course.

Wisconsin boating safety certification or out-of-state equivalent certification is required for operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1989. Please read the boating regulations [exit DNR] for full details.

Anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1973, must complete a hunter education course and have a hunter education safety certificate on file to purchase any hunting license in Wisconsin. However, if they will be hunting under the hunting mentorship program or they have successfully completed and have proof of completing basic training in the U.S. Armed Forces, Reserves or National Guard, they do not need a hunter education safety certificate to purchase a hunting license.

Hunter education graduates receive a certificate that is accepted in every U.S. state as well as Canada and Mexico. For Wisconsin residents, a first-time hunter education graduate may use the Wisconsin hunter education certificate in lieu of a small game hunting license from the date of issuance until March 31 of the following year. Those qualifying do not need to purchase a small game license; the certificate is the license for the established time period. First-time graduates are also exempt from the requirement to purchase the pheasant and state waterfowl stamps while the certificate is valid for small game hunting. This does not exempt a person from the requirement to purchase goose permits, a federal waterfowl stamp if age 16 and over or from becoming HIP registered.

Students must enroll in an in-person field day course and then complete the hunter internet field day online course prior to attending the field day. The online portion of the course requires students to work through online units and complete multiple-choice quizzes. Upon successfully completing all portions of the hunter internet field day online course, the student is awarded a field day voucher. Students must present the field day voucher to attend the in-person field day course they enrolled in. Students will reinforce what they learned online through hands-on firearm handling, demonstrations and practical exercises. The students take a multiple-choice exam and complete a hands-on, skills-based assessment. Upon successfully completing all portions of the field day course, the student is awarded a hunter education safety certificate.

The online-only hunter education course has the same general content as the other hunter education options. Students work through online units, take multiple-choice quizzes and then take a final multiple-choice exam. Upon successfully completing all portions of the course, the student is awarded a hunter education safety certificate.

This online-only hunter education course is designed for students with prior hunting and/or firearms handling experience. If you do not have prior hunting or firearms handling experience, it is highly recommended that you take a traditional or internet field day course to receive one-on-one firearms handling and training with a certified Hunter Education Instructor. ff782bc1db
