Just bought a new iMac running Mojave and cannot print anything on my 9500 MKII. Get a "Filter Error" everytime. I now realize Canon does not support this printer/OS combination. Has anyone had any success getting a 9500 MK II to print in Mojave? If not, then my wonderful printer has just become an expensive boat anchor.....

The PIXMA PRO9500 MK II was retired prior to the release of Macintosh OS 10.13 High Sierra, and no drivers have been written for the new operating system. The printer will continue to work with OS 10.12 Sierra or earlier. Older versions of the drivers may not provide full functionality on newer computers.

Hello everyone, for the people that use the XPS 15 9500, which wifi driver do you use to get a stable connection?

I currently have the newest one from Dell's support page which is the 2.2.1480, A18 (21.110.1.1 in the device manager), and sometimes I do not have a stable connection especially in rooms a bit far from the router. I have uninstalled already the killer control center.

i tried that BWC driver and i was quite dissatisfied because i want to use the control panel and he didnt include the install files. So i did the driver myself, and here i write how you can do it, i posted it elsewhere on the net also. THERE is one flaw. i cannot enable dualview. preferably first, uninstall your current driver (i had 94.24_forceware_winxp_english_whql) to avoid no control panel loading at all. download 190.62_desktop_winxp_32bit_english_whql and run. it will put the drivers in and tell you the controlpanel couldnt be installed. running the CPL msi by itself gave the error "Setup failed to read the required Display Driver to be used with this package. Setup will not continue", leave it open and go to the "local settings\temp" directory and look for random characters like {925BE668-2... and copy the MSI file from there to another dir, and exit the setup. create a new folder in my documents, then do the following to extract it:

in "new folder" i find: Nvidia control panel.msi (2.56Mb), and System32 and Windows folders. move the files to the appropriate folders and reboot. if you rebooted, doing only the drivers, you should get two errors looking for files which is good. if you did both and you got errors you did something wrong.

I go to enable dualview and reboot and it doesnt work. opening display properties may bring up the error (you may have to enable dualview more times to see it, or via the tray icon) "The Currently selected graphics driver can not be used. It was written for a previous version of Windows, and is no longer compatible with this version of Windows...". there is no ! beside it in Device Manager so i bet its a simple registry tweak. after fooling in the registry i seem to have only managed to remove the error, i dont get the two displays. so i can make do with horizontal span or because i have an X700 card in the machine too i can run two monitors on that

from memory the latest 306 drivers, dont work at all, and i tried 270 and i cant get the control panel to work - it couldnt find NvStartup in NvCpl.dll and got an error for NvMcTray.dll too. and unlocker is required if you happen to be updating the control panel from within windows (stop the nvidia service too).

The latest drivers do work but require the unofficial kernel (the latest weekly/daily of UURollup or the BWC kernel). I've tested them on my computer with an old nVIDIA GF6600. I don't know yet about Dual Display support though.

[Ver.2.23]

- Windows 8.1 has been added as a supported OS.

- Windows 8 has been added as a supported OS.

- Windows 7 has been added as a supported OS.

- The following media types have been added as a supported media:

Photo Paper Pro Platinum

- The following function has been added to Print Options in the Page Setup tab:

Disable the color profile setting of the application software

When this function is set to ON, the color profile in the application is disabled, which enables printing using the color profile specified on the driver side.

- With Internet Explorer 11, a web site containing Japanese may not be printed properly. In Windows Update, update the OS and Internet Explorer to the latest version.

- If the printer driver is installed in Windows 8, and if Windows 8 is upgraded to Windows 8.1 while keeping the printer driver installed, Enable bidirectional support in the printer properties may be deselected, disabling detection of the ink level, etc. Re-install the printer driver after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and Enable bidirectional support is selected.

Hi, my OMEN pc has an intel i5 9500 6 core cpu which was working with all 6 cores and 12 logical processors available, however it now shows that there is only 1 core and 1 logical processor and the system is now extremely laggy and freezes especially under heavy loads such as multiple programs running concurrently, which it never had a problem with before. The only hardware change was that I swapped SSDs with another desktop(HP Pavillion gaming 690-0xx). And get this after the swap some of the system information from the HP Pavillion migrated to the HP Omen such as serial number, System name and system SKU. I have tried using msconfig. to reset the cores but only 1 shows up. I have updated the bios as well as formatting the ssd and reinstalling a clean version of windows 10. I have run all the diagnostic tests on the hardware and all the components passed. Kindly assist if you have an idea what the issue might be.

Under threat of a possible sickout, the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board on Thursday voted to give $9,500 more in stipends to bus drivers, transportation aides and mechanics in a bid to address severe personnel shortages that have forced a chaotic first week of the 2023-24 school year.

The average pay for bus drivers in Baton Rouge is about $22,000. A 40-year veteran makes $31,150. Surrounding districts tend to pay considerably more, with some starting bus drivers making $30,000 to $35,000 a year.

The school system is short at least 120 drivers, perhaps more, plus there are vacancies in other key transportation posts. The hope is this flood of money will help entice people to apply for these critical jobs, but may not be enough.

Board member Katie Kennison, the only no vote to the stipend, pressed the board instead to give a large permanent pay raise, lifting starting pay to $30,000 for drivers plus $10,000 more for mechanics.

I checked the current version of the driver and it appears to have a version of the driver available for ubuntu, but it isn't an inbox driver. It also appears to have been converted from an rpm. Do you know what version of the mpt3sas driver is needed for support?

You could try booting from a thumb drive or USB3 SSD starting with a build you know was working previously without doing updates. If that works try updating the OS on the boot disk to see if it breaks. Same with any drivers. If the OS and all drivers are updated and the card works correctly you narrowed down a lot and can focus on config changes or other software.

For some Epson papers, there's a good chance that if you install the Epson drivers and utilities combo package, it will install ICC profiles for some of the more common Epson papers. Download those respectively from (e.g., in the U.S.):

I have done this with several others printer drivers, without having the actual printer, sometimes just to extract the ICC profiles. Sometimes it has failed on the first attempt, but I was always able to find some permutation in the procedure that worked. So I tried here. Using every permutation I could think of--networked versus local etc.--it failed every time. I kept open the system folder where ICC profiles are stored, but at no point did any new ones appear.

More specifically, these files were in C:\Users\[my user name]\AppData\Local\Temp\SC-P7500 Series\Apps\EpsonMediaInstaller\EMX\SP-P9500 Series. Note that when you exit the installer, it deletes of these files, but until then, you can copy them like any other files to the location of your choice. Do such files contain an embedded ICC profile? If so, can you conveniently extract it? I don't know.

By any chance do you have the profile for the P5000 Commercial Edition & Semi-Matte proofing paper? I also tried many times to open up the driver (I don't have the printer) and extract this one profile but was never able to pull it off. Unfortunately, I don't have a Windows machine and so cannot try your routine.

I just set up my surecolor P7500 yesterday and can confirm that when you install the driver, it also installs ICC profiles for the most common epson papers. I have yet to find ICC profiles to any 3rd party papers

I have just installed OpenSUSE 11.2 on an Intel DQ35JO motherboard and XFX 9500GT 512MB video card. After installation the desktop looked fine on the Sony LCD TV I have connected to the 9500GT via a DVI to HDMI cable. e24fc04721
