I have personally tested this on a standard windows 10 that i installed on the tablet, then i used this driver pack and it installed all hardware, including touch screen and auto rotate, everything works. You can use it on any windows 10 edition.

In an attempt to update the pen drivers to make the buttons configurable I installed the latest hi6 drivers from the official website posted. HID driver update for HiPen H6 - -driver-update-for-hipen-h6/4192

In my attempt to fix these issue and under the instruction of Chuwi Support (via official email) I have since reinstalled the supplied drivers several times and at one point have gotten it working. (It is not working at all now). However I have also found a second issue that the battery is not charging. It had been running on the battery out the box but unable to recharge. I have included a video.

I have been supplied with a link (redacted - see forum for link) and reinstalled both versions of the bios, both versions of Windows and reinstalled the drivers from both the mediafire link and the drivers found at [Double Driver] Hi10 X Fresh Install Drivers - -driver-hi10-x-fresh-install-drivers/12992/17

I have also tried to reinstall the I2C HID Driver from when I had the touchscreen working but when I noticed the battery issue I proceeded to backup the drivers and reinstall the OS, Bios and Drivers. This has not worked.

It says code 10 driver error, ACPI DSM error when I force the I2C driver (as the goodixtouch driver has never worked for me) and I believe this to be the issue potentially for the battery too some sort of ACPI DSM issue.

Hello, I have a hi10 pro hq64g42170100364 and after reinstalling windows it does not work the touch, I installed the official drivers of hi10 pro, hi10 and hi10 plus, all of them the touch was recognized but very different places from where I had touched, I tried using the windows tool for calibration and it was no use, how to solve?

i need if a driver that works on a clean install of windows, i dont like to use a manufacturer iso, all my gadgets i take the manufacturer system.

And there is no reason why the driver does not work on a clean windows iso.

I even flashed the original Install.wim to the Windows partition using DISM but at startup the two unknown devices still showed. I also tried installing the drivers using Double Driver and still no luck. Oh BTW, my Hi10 Pro was set up to boot only to Windows.

This thread is for those who have installed Windows by another means, have managed to lose a driver, or those who wish to return everything to stock settings and not have to re-install Windows to do so.

Hi, in the same way I installed Win11 on the older Hi10 Plus. Before installing, I made a backup of the drivers from my Win10 and uploaded it to the flash drive. During the installation, using the method described above, I cleaned and formatted the entire hard disk. After the installation was complete and any updates were downloaded, you had to restore the 9 controls of the devices. I did it in the device manager using drivers from Win10, which I copied to the flash drive before. Now I have Win11 on my entire drive. Everything works correctly and much faster than Win10. Hello. I have chuwi hi10 air CWI529 and i want to reinstall windows 10. but the files that ypu are giving from mediafire when im going to extrat it says files are corrupted. any way to re install windows ? i can reinstall another image but where i will find all the drivers ?

Chuwi Hi10 Pro Tablet came with Windows 10 Home 64bit edition version. This version is activated when enter online and everything is just ok. All the drivers are correctly installed and untill now everything runs just great. The Intel Atom X5-Z8300 Cherry trail Processor is clocked at 1.44 GHz, according to Windows 10 OS. I update it to Windows 10 Home Insider Preview latest version 1607 build14936.1000.

Hi, I started using fedora a few months ago, I used it because I got a windows tablet Chuwi hi 10x.

Everything works as supposed on windows but it is slow af.

To make the tablet usable I tried to get Linux and chrome os to work with it. They all had the several issues hardware lacking drivers, but the one issue present on every distro was the lack of sound.

Fedora was the only distro where everything worked out of the box.

But it was short lived, after some weeks the sound disappeared and I would only get dummy output.

I did a clean install of 3.8.30 and had a crack at compiling the silead module from GitHub - sigboe/gslX68X: Kernel space driver for Silead touch screen digitizers.

It compiled ok and installs. lsmod shows it installed, but no mention of loading the firmware and the touch does not work.

The module is about 20k in size, compared to 25k for the ubuntu module, so I'm guessing the source comes from somewhere else.
