Mine girlfriend is pretty jealous and sometimes does the "drama show". She does not throw knifes or anything else at me like that, but I do feel as a part of a Thai TV show, when it happens. (a lot of crying and impossible to talk sense with her)

What I do not understand about her, is that she is a person that you normally can have a serious and reasonable conversation with. She is smart, hardworking and at her work, she can handle many complicated challenges very well. At work, she is the one with the mental overview and I am sometimes the one freaking out and overreacting. But when it comes to her personal feelings and me, she sometimes overreacts and turns into what I call a "drama queen".

When this happens, I just leave the house and go somewhere to wait until she has calmed down and she sends an SMS to me to please come home. Or she ends up packing a bag and leaving in a very dramatic way, just to return again later when she has calmed down.

3 good years then 2 of complete hell..drama queen mak mak...her way or no way...could not understand any thing other that what she had planned to do if did not do..things kicked off..i put this down to leaving school at 14...and pregnant at 15...no education skills..devious yes...

What I often hear as well is that there are more men than women in Thailand. But according to a research done in 2011 there were 50,95% male and 49,05% female between the age of 15-24. For the age 25-54 the ratio was 49,39% male and 50,61% female. There are monks, gay men and ladyboys, but on the other hand you have tom boys, lesbians, girls who marry a foreinger and girls who kill each other over jealousy which balances the whole thing out again. (That last part was obviously a joke.)

This drama-slash-horror was directed by Songyos Sugmakanan, whose CV is packed with popular Thai movies and series like My Girl (2003) which is one of our most favorite romcoms, the Hormones series, and In Family We Trust (2018).

Despite the onslaught of jolting terror scenes and haunting apparitions, Laddaland, at its core, is a drama film that explores the aftermath of the crippling economic crisis in Thailand during the 1990s. It also subtly exposes usually taboo issues about class, gender roles and immigrants, marking the film as a social commentary that merely exploits ghosts as an entertainment tool.

This film was made during the J-Horror hype. (Remember that vengeful, long-haired lady in white and her famous crawling scene?) Just like its Japanese counterparts, Shutter shocks the audience with a series of shocking yet creatively done jump scares, which are only enhanced by a gripping plot that later reveals so many twists and turns.

Recent cases demonstrate the dramatic shrinking of civic space for millions of people in Thailand, as authorities increasingly refuse to tolerate peaceful dissent. Since late last year, peaceful protesters have been found guilty of lse-majest for merely exercising their right to freedom of expression in online posts, participating in mock fashion shows, and most recently, selling calendars online with drawings of yellow ducks, a symbol of the protest movement.

There are over a hundred different dance traditions in Thailand. However, Thai classical dance includes only several forms, and the Khon or masked drama is one of the most refined of them. It is a combination of dance, elaborate costumes, singing, speaking, and music. Initially, the Khon was performed at the royal court. It was based on the tales of the Ramakien or the Glory of Rama, which is an adaptation of the Ramayana, the Indian Hindu epic.

From a producer of "Spring Breakers" and "The Virgin Suicides," writer/director Jordan Gertner's "Sheroes" brings us into the lives of four thick-as-thieves friends who hit Thailand for a hedonistic adventure. The quartet quickly finds themselves in over their heads when one gets kidnapped by a notorious drug lord. To fight and protect one another, each young lady brings a unique set of skills to a heart-pumping battle for survival. At least, it should be.

At the core of that change was a story of love, albeit not a conventional one. Shilpa had fallen in love with Thai queer dramas, especially with Thai actors Tawan Vihokratana and Thitipoom Techaapaikhun (popularly known as Tay and New). She has even started an Indian fan club of the two actors and attended a fan meeting, where she sat next to her beloved stars.

Thai queer dramas are seen as the next big pop cultural export from Asia, after the epochal popularity of K-dramas. These dramas fall under the larger oeuvre of Boys Love (BL) stories, which trace their origin to a particular genre of Japanese homoerotic media. Created by female fans of manga and anime in late 1970s Japan, these were romantic and/or sexual stories between two male characters.

This year in March, the fan community in India got the chance to display its might when two Thai actors, Mile Phakphum Romsaithong and Nattawin Wattanagitiphat (nicknamed Apo), came to attend the Dior fashion show at Gateway of India. The duo, who shot to global fame due to their roles in BL drama KinnPorsche, had nearly 200 fans waiting to welcome them at the Mumbai airport.

A booming industryThe BL industry has been a money-maker for the Thai government. Last year, Thailand said that its BL content market is worth more than 1 billion baht (approx. Rs 230 crore). BL Watcher, a fan website dedicated to listing such dramas, recorded that 24 Thai BLs have been released so far in 2023. In contrast, nine Japanese, 14 South Korean and only one Taiwanese BL drama have been released this year. Last year, the industry produced 56 BL dramas, South Korea was a far second with 18 dramas.

The latest Thai series on Netflix, Delete, serves a concocted tale of love, deceit, adultery, drama, and mystery in its eight episodes. Revolving around the discovery of a mysterious camera phone that can delete the person that it captures from existence, Delete focuses on the tale of two lovers who resort to extreme measures to keep their affair a secret. Even after plenty of twists and turns throughout the story, this latest Thai Netflix series still manages to leave some unexpected questions in the end.

Bella Ranee, also known as Ranee Campen, is known for her knack for playing roles in period pieces or period dramas. She has starred in the period drama Look Tard and has also been the lead on Porn Prom Onlaweng, a television drama where her career topped off in 2011.

Khon drama is the sum of varied elements. It shares its Ramakien-based narrative, characterisation, and movement techniques with the nang yai shadow theatre. Many of the conventions of movement are based on ancient martial arts. Before the introduction of firearms, warriors and even members of the court practised martial skills, repeating certain movement series, which could also be performed in a dance-like manner. These provided established movement patterns for dance-drama, especially the battle scenes.

Another essential feature of the khon plays was provided by strict court etiquette, which is maintained at the courts of both Rama (Phra Ram) and the demon-king Ravana (Totsakan). This practice reflects traditional Thai court etiquette, which khon drama relayed to the members of the court and the royal bodyguard, who sometimes performed in the plays.

Khon plays are accompanied by a piphad orchestra, chorus, singers, and narrators at the side of the stage. The narrators describe the events of the plot and recite the lines of the characters on stage with extreme expressiveness. As in many other Asian theatre traditions, the narrators in khon have a crucial role. They are as vital to the success of the performance as the dancer-actors, who move on stage according to the distinctly recited lines. Dancing in Thai dance-drama can be divided into two types: gestures illustrating the text, and dance proper accompanied by music. Both types are fully used in khon drama.

Some attempts to reform khon drama do not involve its outward forms but its content. The Ramakien is a large work of literature, and the khon plays usually illustrate only single episodes. Like many other Southeast Asian forms of theatre, khon is of an epic nature. It usually presents a series of events, and does not focus on individual psychological features. In recent decades there have been experiments where the text has been adapted and compiled to portray the life of an individual character such as Hanuman or Piphek, the brother of Totsakan (Ravana).

The National Theatre of Thailand has long been responsible for maintaining the khon tradition. It stages traditional and innovative khon plays from time to time, and in connection with state festivities the khon troupe of the National Theatre arranges grandiose open-air performances. The theatre groups of the universities perform more liberal interpretations of khon drama. Famous is the so-called Thammasat khon, established in the 1970s at Thammasat University in Bangkok by M.R. Kukrit Pramoj, a prince and a former Prime Minister. In this type of khon the rishi or hermit character, originally performed by Kukrit himself, speaks, taking liberties in commenting on current and even political matters.

Patcharaveerapong was active in Thailand's entertainment industry for almost20 years and started out as a model who appeared in beauty pageants. She recently appeared in television drama The Fallen Leaf (2019).

Scootertaxi from station to beach 5 min then u have a lot of non expencive bungalows next to the beach . Stay there for a day or two and from this little heaven u have all of thailand not so far its my perfect start point
