I've had my phone since April 2019 or so. And for the past month or so, if I go into Walmart or Target (really just those two stores) my Bluetooth will turn off and it won't turn back on unless I restart my phone. Does anyone know why that's been happening? I'm not sure how Bluetooth works but is there some weird mechanism/technology that can turn it off?

'Downloading' 'Do not turn off target' is a boot mode used for flashing the phone with ROM/firmware, known as Download mode or Odin Mode. It does not actually download anything until you connect it to a PC and flash it with Odin3.

You can exit Download mode by pressing the same key combination required to enter Download mode, usually Home + Volume Down + Power buttons, for several seconds.

My son has a Galaxy A40 and as the title states the phone is stuck at a blue screen that says "Downloading...Do not turn off target." Holding the power button down to turn off the phone from this screen does nothing. Holding the volume up and volume down plus power buttons at the same time will reboot the phone but it goes right back into this blue screen.

As a curious newbie I went into downloading mode in my Samsung Galaxy S3 by pressing Vol down+center Home+power button. After that I got options to press Vol up key to continue and Vol down key to cancel. Out of sheer curiosity and thinking I can exit anytime I pressed Vol up key and the very infamous "downloading do not turn off" screen sits with the green Android logo.

Next I tried to go into recovery mode and tried all combinations of keys to exit this "downloading" mode but I failed. The power naturally went down as I was reading through many help articles and I put in another battery and now the phone doesn't turn on at all now; there is no reaction and it does not go into recovery mode either. Now I am in a soup as I want my photos and messages to be recovered (no external SD storage used)

If my phone waits on "downloading don't turn off target screen", then how do I simply exit this mode? Should I connect to Odin (highly risky) and exit? (I don't know what will happen.) Does connecting to Odin necessarily mean that I have to flash my ROM?
