All "Cast" features disappeared on Chrome stable build version 117.0.5938.132 (Official Build) (x86_64) on macOs Ventura 13.6 (22G120), including top-right menu items, toolbar buttons and video player buttons. It's like this browser version dropped all support for all Casting altogether.

I turned the WIFI off, went in to chrome Password Manager, then settings, then exported all passwords to a csv file. I was then able to import these to the machine that was online and hit sync and all is restored.

Thanks. the reddit report is interesting. I am suspicious that in my case it was a bad update from Chrome and not a Bitwarden issue, since there was a second Chrome update pushed 24 hours later, and my redownloaded and reinstalled extension did not get zapped again.

Today webscraper disappeared from my dev tools menu on a chrome profile I have been using it for several years even though it appears in the extensions toolbar at the top of chrome. The passwords are still in the google chrome password manager - I can see them on different machines. But on one machine, the one that I have just reinstalled I cannot see any password. And neither works saving new passwords - they are not saved anywhere. I get a prompt to save the password but after logging out I need to type them again.

We have a chrome cast device on our conference room TV that does not like to connect to our iPad anymore, so we got a Chromebook to keep here for meetings. The setup worked perfectly for a few weeks and now we have lost the option to cast. Before in the lower right I could open the menu and select to cast my screen and it would connect to my TV. That option no longer appears. Then I tried the chrome app menu for cast and the TV appears but states only available for specific video sites. What happened? I use this for internal google meet and external zoom meetings every day but now it is completely inoperable for what we purchased it for. I have gone through all the settings on this device and cannot see where there are any settings even listed for casting now. We also have an HDMI to USB plug, is it possible to utilize that to make the TV a 2nd monitor if the casting is no longer an option?

I have no idea how or why this happened, but now it's working again. My coworker logged into her work gmail account in chrome and was able to cast. But me, still logged into my account as user the whole time, could not cast. Few days pass and now it just works again for me too.

The network and access point equipment is Ubiquiti if that makes a difference. The chromebooks in question connect via wifi for all office needs and have no hard-wire ethernet ports. Hi. I've had an S21 for over a year now. (I think) a recent Android software update has removed the voice search (mic icon) capability from the Chrome browser. I have scoured the internet for a solution but they all suggest tapping the three dots at the top, selecting Settings > Toolbar shortcut > Voice search. I no longer have the Toolbar shortcut on Chrome. I do on my Samsung tablet but not on the phone. I 'had a chat' with the bot yesterday. One option was to uninstall Chrome updates - no luck there. Another solution suggested updating Chrome. Still no luck! Any ideas?

I've been having the same issue with my chrome and its been driving me insane. I found another google forum where someone was talking about removing the address bar, so I tried the steps in reverse. What I did was go to the view option in the status bar, made sure "always show toolbar in full screen" was checked, went into full-screen mode, saw it was still checked, uncheck it and recheck it, and the address back came back!.
