"Demons" is a song by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons. It was written by Alex da Kid, Ben McKee, Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Josh Mosser and produced by Alex da Kid. The song appears on their major-label debut extended play, Continued Silence, and also makes an appearance on their debut studio album, Night Visions, as the fourth track. "Demons" was solicited to American triple-A radio stations on January 28, 2013 and to modern rock stations two months later, on April 1, 2013. It serves as the album's overall fifth single and was released as the third single from Night Visions in the United States,[2][3][4] later released to US contemporary hit radio stations on 17 September 2013 as an official single.[5] The lyrics portray the protagonist warning the significant other of his or her flaws.

The music video, like the song, is very calm. In the video, she is just playing different instruments according to the song. She plays the piano a lot while singing. I think this is a good music video that goes with the song because it makes sense as you watch the music video and listen to the song.

Overall, I think if you are into slower calmer music this is the artist for you. An artist who she sounds similar to is Bea Miller, Sara Bareilles, Christina Perri, and Lia Marie Johnson. Julia is a very talented vocalist and songwriter. Based on her work you can see how her music she was inspired by artists like Adele and Sam Smith, who are artists she looks up to.

'Oh master of masters,' asked he, as the salt came around, and plucking absent strings upon his glyphic quorric and palming his flayer he spoke a bird into the air which sang a singular song and dissipated.

Once, Lord Intra came to the Vale of Stalks. It was a broad land with a hardy and beautiful people that wove stems of grass into elaborate mats. There were frequent harvest songs and offerings to the God of Pigs.

You're a Grand Old Flag" is an American patriotic march. The song, a spirited march written by George M. Cohan, is a tribute to the American flag. In addition to obvious references to the flag, it incorporates snippets of other popular songs, including one of his own. Cohan wrote it in 1906 for George Washington, Jr., his stage musical.[1]

The song was first publicly performed on February 6, the play's opening night, at Herald Square Theater in New York City. "You're a Grand Old Flag" quickly became the first song from a musical to sell over a million copies of sheet music.[1] The title and first lyric comes from someone Cohan once met; the Library of Congress website notes:

The original lyric for this perennial George M. Cohan favorite came, as Cohan later explained, from an encounter he had with a Civil War veteran who fought at Gettysburg. The two men found themselves next to each other and Cohan noticed the vet held a carefully folded but ragged old flag. The man reportedly then turned to Cohan and said, "She's a grand old rag." Cohan thought it was a great line and originally named his tune "You're a Grand Old Rag." So many groups and individuals objected to calling the flag a "rag," however, that he "gave 'em what they wanted" and switched words, renaming the song "You're a Grand Old Flag".[1]

In the play itself, the scene with the Civil War soldier was replicated. The soldier's comment was the lead-in to this song. Thus the first version of the chorus began, "You're a grand old rag / You're a high-flying flag". Despite Cohan's efforts to pull that version, some artists such as Billy Murray had recorded it under its original title, "The Grand Old Rag", in advance of the play's opening, and copies under that title still circulate among collectors. Cohan's second attempt at writing the chorus began, "You're a grand old flag / Though you're torn to a rag". The final version, with its redundant rhyme, is as shown below.

"Demons" is a song by Hayley Kiyoko from her album I'm Too Sensitive For This S***. It is heard in the opening credits and continues to play as a background song during the first scene of the third episode ("Lamentis") of the Loki series, when Sylvie creates a fantasy to enchant Hunter C-20, making her think that they are friends drinking at bar while interrogating her for information about the Time Keepers.

We all have some sort of demons inside us. We all fight them. We don't always succeed in defeating them, but we try just the same. In this song, in which the band sounds like an Americanized Coldplay, the protagonist is waging that internal battle.

I love this song. To me, it's about how people sometimes are too frightened to be sincere about who they are and what they're feeling. And because of this fear, we equivocate and mislead people deliberately and tell complete lies. All because it's easier to not take risks, to not chance getting hurt.

This song is about a guy who feels the only way girls will be interested in him is if he lies and does not reveal his true self. Its a rather sad song. "When I speak I cross my fingers"...This shows that he knows he is lying and he doesn't want to but he does anyway.

getchoo - guster is probably my favorite band on the face of this earth. this song is pretty cool...not their best, though. raspberry's probably right about the meaning."honest is easyFiction is where genius lies"how cool is that!?!

yeaa i guess i think this song is kinda about how so many people are afraid of just opening up and letting people in because they are afraid to get hurt, maybe from something in the past? who knows...but guster rocks my socks =)

Ahh, Demons, ^^. This was my first Guster song. ((Saying that sounds like I was a little kid, reading my first book or something...)) I feel like sharing my Guster experience, so bear with me...I found this song a couple years ago, on an anime contest (it was some sort of monthly contest to draw a picture based on the music they give you, and Demons was the song of the Month.) However, it was a different version (a capella), by a band called Dogstar...so for a good half a year, I was misled, thinking that this amazing song was written by Dogstar. At camp that summer, I heard LOTS of people listening to the Guster version of Demons...and I found the truth, ^^.

Onto my interpretation: I definitely agree with all that's been said already, that the song is about people who are afraid to be themselves, who hide under a mask, like we're told NOT to do - to be the antithesis of what they've been taught, to be the Demon. ((This is where I think the title comes in.)) It's always easier to be cold, distant, detatched, so that when something happens that could potentially hurt you, you're out of the line of fire, your feelings locked tight away from the world under your Demon-mask.

Nine Circles levels are one of the most popular level trends to date. The levels are recolored, redecorated remakes of Zobros' Demon level of the same name, usually with varying difficulty. Nine Circles levels generally use dubstep, electro, or dance music, especially by the composer of the Nine Circles song NIGHTKilla (Rukkus), Xtrullor, and more. The signature strobing wave part, termed the "Circles effect", typically begins at the drop of the song. These sections have a noticeable jump in difficulty, with a flashing background and obstacles making it difficult to see where the player is going. Occasionally the effect is present with non-wave game-modes, such as in The Realistic or Bausha Vortex. A number of Nine Circles levels have formerly been considered the hardest levels in Geometry Dash, including Sonic Wave (and its remakes), Arctic Lights, and Sakupen Circles.

In early 2015, Zobros published the Hard Demon level Nine Circles, his first original level. This level left the Geometry Dash community stunned and became very popular. In late February, the then-unknown player SuperPizzaLuigi (Now known as MkComic) released a remake of this level, with purple colors and another NIGHTkilla song of the same name: Fairydust. In late April, Softable and well-known creator ZenthicAlpha replicated Nine Circles respectively with The Realistic and Jawbreaker. Since this moment, the trend of Nine Circles levels spread like wildfire. Dozens of this kind of level in the months from May to August, made by famous creators (Glittershroom, Dhafin, Andromeda, and Minesap) and from unknown creators who became famous just by creating a remake of Nine Circles (CrisPy Dash, Artimiel, RedUniverse, N1XO) were made. This trend declined with the 2.0 update since RobTop refused to give stars to other classical remakes of Nine Circles, except in very few cases. Then the creators experimented with new styles, and the 2.0 generation of Nine Circles levels was born with levels like Retro Circles, Circulatum, AnotherCircles, and Ultimate Circles. Some people like Rulas and Rustam launched other trending styles like Ultra and XII Circles, which are even harder to replicate, especially the latter. In 2016, very few remakes got featured, and by this point, since even Zobros found the trend overused, RobTop promised him any new Nine Circles levels would likely not get rated. This then sparked the trend of 2.1 style Nine Circles Levels, some examples including pulsar, Nine CircleX, Zacarias, Tenth Circle, and Cosmic Cyclone. 006ab0faaa
