Hey jailbreakers! I just got my iPad 2 for 6.1.3 to 8.4.1 (I know that isn't worth it, I just was bored) and got the issue where Cydia didn't appear on homescreen, but opened by entering cydia:// in safari. So, here's a fix!

Hello everyone, Before this update I edited manually the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list file to add/remove sources. But now it doesn't work anymore. I see that now cydia.list is a symbolic link that lead to /var/mobile/Library/Caches/com.saurik.cydia/sources.list, so I've tried to edit this file as well but without success... So I presume that there is another file that override all the changes done manually when Cydia is opened, but WHERE ?!? Thanks in advance for your help

I haven't tried to compile the code yet (I don't trust it yet and don't have the time to examine it) but it may be as simple as running the make.sh script in the source directory. If that works, create a PKGBUILD for it with all the needed libraries in the "depends" array. Use a "git" PKGBUILD template to get started. The name of the package should probably be "cydia-git". If you get stuck, post the PKGBUILD that you have written here and someone will help you complete it. 17dc91bb1f
