I bought two large cubes to stack in the center of the Techonaut 45. My clothes stay organized and do not slide to the bottom while traveling. It is also easier to organize and pack effectively. Smaller sacks and cubes fit nicely around these cubes.

Fill a box with cubes, rows of cubes, or layers of cubes. The number of unit cubes needed to fill the entire box is known as the volume of the box. Can you determine a rule for finding the volume of a box if you know its width, depth, and height?

ObjectiveFind the surface area and volume of each box.By clicking on the flattened sides of the box, you can see what the box looks like when the sides are folded up. How to UseAlong the left side, click on a cube, a row of cubes, or a layer of cubes to fill the box. The Undo button takes away the last piece you placed in the box; the Clear button removes all of the pieces from the box. Use the Customize wheel to change the width, depth, and height to see boxes of various sizes. 20 is the maximum width, depth, and height. You can also randomize the dimensions by clicking on the Next arrow.

I give away a lot of cubes at competitions. To kids who have a main, but not a backup cube. To moms and dads who are interested in learning. And I always give away this particular cube because it's inexpensive enough that I can do this without it costing me too much, and because for the price it's actually a pretty nice cube. It turns just fine, and is magnetic. I would expect anybody who gets serious to upgrade to something better, of course, but as an entry-level option it's hard to beat. Also: if you do multiblind and need your cubes to all feel the same, this cube has the performance to handle blind solving without any problems, and is cheap enough that you can get however many you need without breaking the bank.

Now for the feel. Oh boy. It's one of the strangest feeling cubes you will ever turn, and I guarantee it. A combination of the light springs, the feet magnets repelling at 45 degrees, the corner-core magnets being relatively strong, and the cube being decently fast means that it does not stabilize at all in between turns. It will either align or just not turn at all. The cube has a feel not unlike the GAN 12, where everything feels quite airy and the auto-align takes over a lot. The cube is a bit loud and has a low-pitched, hollow sound that sounds a bit cheap, but I personally enjoy it. It's light and airy, with very little friction, and has a slightly crunchy feel reminiscent of the newer GAN cubes, once again, but it's also not very tactile, like a Tornado V3. What is this thing?

This puzzle is amazing and though does not share the same full, smooth feeling of the RS3 M 2020, it has substantially better performance and is a trade off I am willing to make. Turning reminds me a ton of the GAN 11 M Duo at a substantially better price. There is a substantial break in period (to be expected with premium cubes) but with this one in particular I did not feel like it reached it's prime until about 500 solves. I also wasn't personally a fan of compression setting 7 and I think most people will find setting 6 to be much more comfortable. Then again, this is a signature series cube and is supposed to emulate the setup for Luke Garrett which I think was achieved very well. Overall, this cube has finally got me to put down my Weilong WR M after 4 years and I recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced top-tier puzzle.

Tornado V3 Flagship:

Amazing cube, I have tried other cubes such as the GAN 13 and this cube surpasses them all. I was solving better than my average with this cube ootb. If you set it up properly, you can get even better times, and I guarantee you this cube is still better than any other cube on the market. The Tornado V2 was my previous main, and the V3 is most definitely a step up from the V2. Highly recommend.

Cubicle Mini Mat:

This exceeded my expectations...I expected the thickness to be about the same as the stackmat, but it's much thicker, giving your cubes much more cushion. The design is vibrant and enjoyable to use. Amazing.

This metal cube is also compatible with Nikon's E400, E600, E800 and E1000 upright microscopes, as well as the TE200 and TE300 inverted Eclipse microscopes. Please note that this Eclipse/Quadfluor cube is NOT intended for use in Nikon's Eclipse TE2000 or TI2000 microscopes and should not be confused with the 91020 cube. Users should also note that early versions of Diaphot microscopes used our 91000 (18mm) cubes, but many have been converted in order to be consistent with all later Diaphot models, which use this 91001 cube. Please contact your Nikon dealer to purchase this cube empty, or mounted with the following Chroma filter sets: 19000, 19001, 19002, 19004, 19012, 39000, 39001, 39002, 39003, 39004, 39005, 39007, 39010, 31021, 49028, 59001, 59004, 59022, 69000, 69002 **Recommend installation at Chroma to ensure proper gluing and alignment.

My smoothie booster cube: fresh raw spinach, store-bought green juice, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and ground flaxseed. Avoid blending things like bananas or dairy in your cubes; the color and flavor get wonky.

My favorite smoothie combo: 5-7 large frozen strawberries, two smoothie cubes, a dollop or two of yogurt, whole milk (because I'm pregnant, and I deserve it), a banana, and a swirl of agave nectar. It's practically a daily occurrence for the entire family, so a stamp of approval across the board.

You need these for 2 reasons - - (1) for packing as much as you can into a space and (2) staying organized. I can get about 10 dresses in one large packing cube which is major. I pack the smaller cubes vertically in my 40L Tortuga travel backpack and it allows for even more space. I sometimes even pack outfits inside gallon zip locks and then place them in each cube and only pull out what I need each day of travel. SUPER organized, but always maximizes my wardrobe and keeps everything smelling fresh.

When I'm packing for a trip, I love to have everything organized and the packing cubes help me to do just that. I use the biggest one for larger pieces of clothes and the smaller ones for things like socks etc. or even to store some skin care products or miscellaneous items. The smaller ones can also hold clothes as well. They are super versatile!

I've used these cubes many times over the years for a faux pho. They sure are convenient, and while not anywhere near as rich in flavor as from-scratch stock, it's not bad. Agreed, they are salty and strong and you need to add more water to taste. A little hoisin and rooster sauce to dip the meats into and then back in the soup, it gets pretty tasty IMO.

Thanks for posting this!

I am not sure if I want to try these cubes of seasoning. The company probably did not disclose all the ingredients that go into the cubes. I not quite a health "freak" but don't want to take any chances.

Homemade broth still rules in our house. Thank you for writing about the cubes though.

Suzette-- so your MIL uses the cubes to reinforce her scratch broth. I bet you could put some MSG in there and it would do the same too. No shame in using a little MSG. Millions (zillions?) of cooks do it. I'm not one of them but some people swear that pho is not pho if it doesn't have MSG. Seriously.

I've tried a couple of brands of these evil little cubes. The results were just that. . . evil. I did try a canned pho once, but found it both salty and flavourless, with extra-soft noodles. I usually make a big pot of stock, divide it in half and add appropriate spices for pho to one half, and spices for bun bo Hue to the other half. I keep it in my freezer. If I didn't have any stock and really needed a pho fix, I'd resort to the instant pho noodles (pho an lien) with spice packages. I won't use the cubes or canned product again.

Hi Andrea! I have never used those spice cubes for pho before but I know my mom cooks with the chicken bouillon cubes sometimes. Have you ever tried the pho soup base that's in a jar container? (link below)I have used this before and the broth turned out pretty good! It's not necessarily "instant" broth as the jar includes a real spice packet with anise and it recommends that you simmer for 30 min or so. I thought it turned out really good and authentic! My dad even loved it. I don't think this has MSG in it.

I just bought the cubes today. No info. That's how i wound up here.

Early last year I bought some pho paste that came 10 packets per box. You add one packet to 1 Litre of water. It was the best we tried. Store no longer sells it

I don't have the original box to try and trace it.

I really love large ice cubes. (I used this extra large ice cube tray. The silicone is perfect for popping these cubes out too!) They last longer in your drinks and you only need a few cubes to fill a glass.

Marching cubes is built for regular grids. So wether data is defined at cube vertices or centers really does not matter: just shift by half the cube size! If you have irregular data use something else or resample to a regular grid first.

You also seem to be missing the "marching" part: The idea is to find one cube with the surface and flood fill out from there. Cubes that are all outside or all inside stop the search. That way most cubes in your huge regular grid do not even need to be looked at.
