If your check doesn't arrive on the date listed above, the Social Security Administration advises waiting three additional mailing days before reaching out. After that, you can speak with a representative at 800-772-1213. (The SSA notes that wait times are shorter Wednesday through Friday and between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays.)

I have a 2000 Toyota Camry that has a unique problem. The Check Engine light NEVER comes on even when first starting the car. I have access to a scanner and know that the car periodically throws a catalyst code but the light never comes on. I just assumed that the bulb was burned out.

Like others have already stated, the CEL light is usually turned on through the ECU which probably makes a ground connection inside the unit to turn on the lamp. You can check to see if there is voltage on the lamp lead going to the ECU. If there is about 12 volts on it you should be able to ground that point and turn on the lamp to verify the rest of the circuit is ok. If the ECU is causing the trouble you can purchase a rebuilt unit for a lot less money than a new one from the dealer. This is a fairly common trouble. I have fixed some in the past by replacing the lamp driver IC inside the ECU.

It takes more than just not having a CEL light if the inspection station plugs in a code reader. It also takes more than just having no codes. Your code reader also has ready lights which means that the circuits have been checked. You need all ready lights on to pass inspection. Clear all codes, drive at least three drive cycles and check the codes and the ready lights. You may not have all ready lights after three cycles, but if you have none, then the ECU is bad. I vote broke wire though.

Keith in the 3 years I have owned the car the light has never come on. I have had to clear a catalyst code on a few occassion. My guess is the O2 sensors have never been replaced. So the codes have been cleared probably 6 times. Most currently being 2 weekends go, and I checked it again this past weekend so there have been more that 3 cycles.

Since you have at least 3 drive cycles, you should go ahead and plug in the scanner you have access to. In the display, usually across the top, there are several two letter acronyms, like CC. These are the ready lights. You can also keep pushing the down arrow on some code readers and after displaying any codes, it will scroll through the ready lights one at a time with an up or down arrow indicating its status. It will also tell you if the MIL should be on or off. MIL is the check engine light circuit.

I was in a call with a Customer the other day and they were struggling to find where a particular translation was coming from. Reason being was that they were in their UAT phase of their implementation and so they wanted to make an edit.

So, let's delve into our options and how we can tackle this in the simplest possible way. Grab a coffee because this one is going to be fun!

Not to say this is the best option, but it is an option. Because we know the UI translations are merely data in tables, it stands to reason that we could run a very simple query to find what we're after.

Sure it's not super efficient, or super amazing, but does it need to be? The objective is to find a term in any translated record. In my example I'm looking for "du ticket" in french. The output I can get is like this:

When we understand how the 5 tables work (and coupled with why they are the way they are) then it has the power to open up so many possibilities. Therefore, if you find yourself in a similar position of needing to find something, try out something like the above, or even try the script above to find a specific translation. And if you have any ideas to make it better, feel free to share in the comments,

If the delivery schedule indicates that STAR credits have been issued in your area, but you have not received yours, review your school property tax bill. (See examples.) If you received the STAR exemption on your bill, there is no further STAR benefit to receive this year. You are not eligible for the STAR credit in any year you receive a STAR exemption.

For example, checks for those living in most Monroe and Westchester County areas began mailing in mid-July or late-August, while some checks for those living in Steuben and Tompkins County areas began mailing this month.

If your STAR check hasn't shown up and your due date to pay your school property taxes has passed, contact the Department of Taxation and Finance through your Online Services Account or by calling the office at 518-457-2036 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Homeowners can switch from an exemption to a check, and those who opt to do so could see the value of their STAR savings increase annually because, by law, the STAR credit can increase by as much as 2% each year, according to the state. The value of STAR exemptions cannot increase.

If you're looking for something to do outside of regular school hours, there are dozens of clubs to check out! CHS has an Anime club, a Forensics club, a Muslim Students' Association, a Pre-Med club, Dance, Music, Theatre, and so much more. Check out THIS LIST to see what students have been up to this year.

You can find your device's Android version number, security update level, and Google Play system level in your Settings app. You'll get notifications when updates are available for you. You can also check for updates.

In March 2021, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan Act, which authorized a third round of federal stimulus checks worth up to $1,400 for each eligible person ($2,800 for couples), plus an additional amount of up to $1,400 for each dependent. The IRS issued all the third-round stimulus checks by the end of 2021, but eligible people who didn't receive a check last year can still get stimulus money by filing a 2021 tax return now and claiming the recovery rebate credit. (And some Americans will also get a state "stimulus check" this year.)

Although the income levels at which third stimulus checks started to phase out (i.e., be reduced) were the same as the amounts used for the first two stimulus payments, the rate at which the phase-out occurred was different. As a result, you may not have gotten a third stimulus check even if you received payments in one or both of the first two rounds.

For third-round stimulus payments, eligibility and amounts were based on either your 2019 or 2020 return. If your 2020 tax return wasn't filed and processed by the IRS by the time the tax agency started processing your third stimulus payment, then the IRS used information from your 2019 tax return. If your 2020 return was already filed and processed when the IRS was ready to send your payment, then your stimulus check eligibility and amount was based on the information on your 2020 return. If your 2020 return was filed and/or processed after the IRS sent you a third stimulus check, but before December 1, 2021, the IRS sent you a second "plus-up" payment for the difference between what your payment should have been if based on your 2020 return and the payment actually sent based on your 2019 return. As a result, your third stimulus check may have been higher or lower depending on when you filed your 2020 tax return.

As mentioned earlier, many states are sending payments to their residents in 2022 to help with high inflation and other economic woes. For the most part, these payments come from a budget surplus or federal COVID-relief funds. To see if your state is sending (or has sent) a payment this year, see States Sending Stimulus Checks.

Let the experts at AAMCO check it out for you!

When the light comes on, turn to AAMCO to check it out and get the repairs you need to get back on the road - lights out and worry-free!

Thousands of drivers across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico trust AAMCO when their Check Engine light comes on. So our experts put together this quick guide to help you understand that mysterious glowing light!

What is my CHECK ENGINE or SERVICE ENGINE SOON light?

All modern vehicles are equipped with an onboard computer diagnostic system (OBDII) that constantly monitors your vehicle's major operating systems and most importantly the power-train (engine and transmission). The main purpose of monitoring these systems is to insure that the vehicle is operating at top efficiency with the lowest possible emissions. As fuel economy and emission control has become increasingly important and complex, your vehicle's electronics systems need to constantly adjust and fine-tune various parameters according to driving conditions (such as vehicle load, temperature and air/fuel mix to name just a few). When the computer reads that any of these parameters do not fall within the acceptable range for operating the vehicle, your CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is lit to warn you that you may have a serious problem and to take your vehicle to a certified technician - such as your local AAMCO technician - to check the faults and restore it to manufacturer's specifications.

What is the check?

Reading the codes from your car's computer system is similar to a doctor measuring your blood pressure when you schedule a visit. High blood pressure doesn't tell the doctor what is wrong with you it simply lets the doctor know there is something wrong and points him or her in the right direction to find out what it is. Just like the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT codes tell your AAMCO technician there is something wrong and points him or her in the right direction, too. If the code indicates a problem with your O2 (oxygen) sensor system, it doesn't necessarily mean you need a new O2 sensor. Additional diagnostics pinpoints the exact cause of the "trouble" code so you don't pay for parts or services you don't need. Be wary of garages that read your code and tell you immediately that you need a major repair.

What does the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT usually mean?

There are hundreds of codes that could trigger your CHECK ENGINE LIGHT for dozens of reasons each. Even the most common reasons can have many possible causes. Some top CHECK ENGINE LIGHT codes are: 006ab0faaa
