1) If I go to the "home" page of the circle app on my phone, and choose "devices" in the upper right corner, and select the specific device that my child is using, and click the "pause" button for that device, Internet access is shutdown for that device as expected.

2) The only other thing I can think of is that the device is a Chromebook that is being signed into with a child's account for the local public school system. I'm not sure if that sets up a VPN?? If it sets up a VPN, then perhaps the circle cannot actually see the traffic on the device and restrict access?

Did some more debug on this and found on my android phone that if I blocked Youtube, I could not open any web browsers to That is most definitely blocked. However, if I use the YouTube app on the same phone, I am still able to browse YouTube and watch videos. Not sure why that is. Anyway... still looking into this.

New to circle. I have an Orbi Router and enabled the Circle Premium. I set up my daughters Macbook to be managed and can Pause/Resume connectivity so I know its setup correctly. I can not however block youtube on Chrome - which is what I want to do during school hours. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this?

Hello everybody,

I have over 2000 circles in my Rhino file and I would like to replace each by the same block.

Unfortunately, I do not know how that - more or less automatically - works. Is there a possibility?

I have thousands of tree circles need to be converted into blocks of the same name....used LISP.exe to convert them to different blocks but is it possible to assign these different sized blocks a same name? the reason I want to do it is to import the circle blocks into Sketchup as same components... Anyone can help???? thanks!

I am showing the back side of the pinning process to emphasize that the arch fabric will extend beyond the edge of the quarter circle. This is the way it is supposed to be; do not try to force the edges to meet. Because we started with the same sizes of fabric when we made the initial cut, the arch will be larger than the cut quarter circle when piecing.

With the arch fabric on top, begin sewing the pieces together using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. I like to remove the pins when my presser foot is in this relationship to the first pin and then I use the pin like a stiletto to help encourage the arch fabric to stay in the correct position over the quarter circle fabric until I come to the next pin. I tend to sew 2 to 3 stitches and then adjust. When I adjust, I make sure the sewing machine needle is down, and then I lift the presser foot and gently rotate the block to maintain the 1/4-inch seam allowance.

This is what the unit will look like when you are done sewing them together. I like to use my wooden seam roller to then gentle press the arch fabric down, effectively pressing the seam toward the arch / away from the quarter circle. Press.

Because these are improv cut circles, you may find that you cannot trim to have 1/4-inch of the arch material at the edge of the block: you will likely have more or less than that amount. That is the fun of improv and I like to embrace each block being trimmed slightly differently.

I am new to this forum. I have been looking for a lisp routine that could select all circles of a specific diameter not a range or greater than/ less than scenario on any layer and replace them with a block reference then delete the original circle. Lee's code works well however i want to do a bulk selection and replacement not select each individual circle to be replaced. A counter to display how many circles have been replaced would be beneficial however not necessary. Can anyone help me?

Hi just something that confuses me, if lets say caitlyn is right in my face and she autos and I W, will her auto not be blocked since shes inside the W circle? From my experience it gets blocked but idk if I'm just not focusing.

To my understanding you can either parry them or dodge them but not block them. But I've tried pressing L1 when the yellow circle shows up or right after it when the enemy starts attack animation. In both cases, the results are random. Sometimes it staggers the enemy and sometimes I get hit. The results are very different for different enemies. Is there something obvious I am missing? It's very frustrating to play it this way.

And for non circle attacks, you can always block or parry correct? I feel I haven't been able to block some of these attacks too. The shield doesn't prop up on time - I don't know if it's input lag or animation time, but pressing L1 is no guarantee of a block.

PARKING INFORMATION:

Parking is very limited, please carpool or rideshare and utilize care when parking in adjacent neighborhoods. Designated disabled parking is located at the corner of Virginia Avenue and Empire Avenue. Cars left in the block party area overnight on Friday, March 8, will be towed.

I have rotated the circle block before to use the quadrants. Often I need to snap to the 0-90-180-270 degree angles of the block as well and then the quadrants are rotated out of position for that. Adding some nodes to the block at 45 degree increments is an interesting idea.

I usually just snap to the center and them use the circle of the block to trim the line. That's probably as easy as rotating the line after the fact. I have a simple macro that will allow snapping to 15 degree increments of a circle but it doesn't work on circles embedded in blocks.

Of course, if you wanted to get silly, draw a circle, make it a block, rotate it, then lay another circle on top of it. ( for the humor impeded members of the group, that was not a serious suggestion).

However, this one is. You refer to a circle block. Not sure what you may have in your circle block, but you might consider doing this a couple of other ways too. Add a line to your circle block, only make it a dynamic block with a rotation parameter. Then you'd only need to drag the line to the angle you want after inserting the block.

Sorry, just meant that what I would gain form rotating the block 45 degrees to snap to the quadrant would be lost when I had to snap to where the quadrant used to be before the rotation. I often have lines connecting to a circle block at 0 degrees as well as 45 degrees for example.

And the second way, if I hadn't hit the post button before I was finished, was to simply add a parametric angular constraint to the line that references something in the block that's vertical or horizontal. You could even add a line and the parameter in the block, then erase them both when you have it where you want it.

Thanks Allen. I tried out your LFC command. Unfortunately, the LFC.lsp command you wrote seems to have the same limitation as the QS.lsp command referenced above. It will not select a circle nested inside of a block. You are a coding machine though.

With a rotation parameter, all you have to do is click on the block to turn on the grips, then click the round grip where the line hooks on. You can either drag it where you want it or type in an angle. Put it any where you want it.

The project I have been working on has seven inset circles. While I love the look, it can be overwhelming. The project is designed to teach curves and help quilters overcome their fear of curves and inset circles. After making all my circles and fitting them into the quilt, here is my approach to inset circles and all of the tips I can think of to take the fear out of circles.

TIP: Take your time. Making inset circles is not fast. You will get a bit faster as you get more comfortable with them, but it is not fast. Put on some non-distracting music, take a deep breath and take your time.

I start by heavily starching both the background and circle fabrics. For this tutorial, I will be making a 10 inch finished circle, set into a 10.5 inch block. Cut an 11 inch square of the circle fabric (off-white) and a 12 inch square of the background fabric (aqua).

I really like this EZ Circle Cut template. But you can use any half or quarter circle that is accurate. For a 10 inch diameter finished circle, you will cut a 9.5 inch circle out of the middle of the 12 inch square. On this template, you fold the fabric in half, put the fold on the fold line and cut at the 9 inch groove.

The circle fabric needs to be bigger than the cut out from the background. For a 10 inch diameter finished circle, a 10.5 inch diameter circle needs to be cut. On this ruler, you fold the fabric in half, put the fold on the fold line and cut at the 10 inch groove.

I find that it works best if I sew with the circle side down. Bernie, my sewing machine, is set up so the needle stops in the down position, and with the stitch length at 2, slightly shorter than the usual 2.5 stitch length. I always check my bobbin and my tension before I start sewing a set-in circle.

The pi-hole works as expected on the 10.1.30.0/24 network and blocks ads. The pi-hole serves DNS for the 10.1.1.0/24 network but does no ad filtering (weird). The server is visible from the 10.1.1.0/24 network and dns lookups work as expected. I have tried expanding the subnet mask to include both networks (why the CIDR is /19 in setupvars.conf). I have also selected option 3 in the DNS settings page to accept requests from all networks and origins. nslookup queries on the 10.1.1.0/24 network show that devices are getting DNS results from the pi-hole, just not ad filtered?

Thanks in advance. I have tried several solutions presented here and elsewhere. The netmask solution was the latest (changing the CIDR in setupvars.conf to /19 instead of /24, but doesn't help). It seems like the pi-hole is refusing to block ads for devices outside of its own network, however it happily serves DNS requests.

Finally, the computer that I'm using is not showing up in the query log, at all. I do have a few entries for a phone, but they are all passed. Not nearly the traffic I would think it should be seeing, so this is likely the problem. For some reason, I can get DNS resolution, but without the pihole seeing it enough to log. When I am connected to the same network that the pihole is attached to I see query's along with blocks in the log. I can't figure out where it could be getting DNS from when on the main LAN. You can see there is only one listing for the DNS server in ipconfig. I also checked the EdgeOS config tree to ensure dnsmasq is NOT enabled on the router. ff782bc1db
