I figured, the editor tracking fields clearly have access to usernames, so maybe GetUser() does too. This DOES work while offline. When I say offline I mean my device is in airplane mode and I am using either an offline area created on the device, or an offline area created in Field Maps Designer. I tested both.

Generally, I keep my Dropbox files off-line. In the past, if I marked a particular file "make available offline", the circle next to the file name would turn green fairly quickly, and the file would then be available on my driv drive immideately. Now, however, the "make available offline option seems to have no effect. If I try to access a file, the access is veery slow and sometimes fail completely. However, I can usually still access files if I wait long enough. Also, I can move files (very slowly) to a flash drive. why has this change occurred?

I don't see the problem there in providign access to the Vault folder offline. There can be just an extra encyption for the folder which should solve the issue. Othe cloud storage and backup providers like pCloud which also I am using has got this feature available which is making the secret folders easy to access from desktops locally.

I like the idea of backing up (and accessing) my data online in case my computer, say, gets run over by a bus. I also like the idea of backing up my online files on my computer in case I loose access to the internet. It is disappointing that my most important and sensitive files would be in a vault the violates this concept of Online backs up Hardware and Hardware backs up Online. Seems easy enough to sync an encrypted file that could be opened offline.

Would love to have an offline version of Monday.com for those of us who spend a lot of times on the planes and in super remote places :). Ideally, the offline version would sync with the online version once the user is back online. Thank you! Love your work.

This would definitely be useful for my team as we travel all over the US and often find ourselves without internet (trains, planes). This is especially difficult for when we have meetings and need to record all minutes that require action. Currently, we make lists on excel and then batch copy to the corresponding board whenever we get some access. This causes a delay between the time when we have the meeting and when our team members not present get the notification that action is required.

More complex usability in offline mode would be the cherry on top, but this basic use is really impacting our team.

I recently bought an Ipad Pro. I have a hard time getting my dropbox to work which is very frustrating. I have tried to make my entire dropbox available offline (as on my Macbook) but without success, because it says I need to upgrade to Dropbox Plus. I can only choose individual files and make them available offline. Can this be true?

For those with increased storage on their device, they can make files available offline which will download the file and store it on the device. Those with a Plus, Professional or Business account can also mark entire folders as available offline. Marking an entire folder is a premium feature which is not available on Basic accounts.

The offline campaign you can manage by creating properties and then updating them with the help of the workflows. If you can provide us with a use case, we can help you out with that.

I use Mac (OS Monterey 12.4), and have selected "Make available offline" on my dropbox for new files and selected all folders to sync to my Mac. However the files are not being made available offline. Files that I open remain available offline for a while, and then retreat back into the cloud. This problem has been going on for ages: (1) how to I make all my files available offline (without individually marking them all for download)? and (2) if I want to move away from Dropbox how do I retrieve my files?

There's plenty of space on my Mac for the files. The Status is showing as "everything is up to date". And the time for offline to go to online - not sure, maybe several weeks? (I had a scan on my system (jpg) that was available offline back in March, and today (28 August) was online only - but I don't know when it flipped to online-only)

Including the backup file (0.5Gb) it is 2.5Gb, which is about the space I have available. But I have "unchecked" the iTunes since this is the biggest folder - so this should not sync/offline, and the rest (c.1.5Gb) should fit on my computer - ??

I am not sure what to try next, other than creating individual Field Maps for each of the layers, but that does not seem to be an efficient solution since people will have to download multiple Field Maps offline areas that are not all housed in the same location.

Generally, however, it's expected behavior that contacts from integrations are marked as offline. You'll see the information that they're coming from Zoom in the original source drill-down 1 / 2. That's how you can easily identify and filter these contacts.

I have gone into the projects that I have completed and deselected the toggle switch for offline maps but this appears to have no effect and when I look to add another offline project my total is still as it was.

Yes, that is the way DD told me to remove the offline maps. Make sure you turn off Available off line option, then delete app and reinstall. I have a lot of offline maps cached and I need to delete them as I go along. Flight plans and data are not effected as its held on the DD server. Offline option is in your IOS device. Give your ios device time to sync before re installing. Hope this helps.

Sorry to hear about your maps not un-syncing from the offline status. Some devices have a hard time un-caching flight plans than other.@Kapchaking is correct, you will want to uninstall the app but make sure to allow enough tie for the flight plans to sync. I hope you find that helpful~

These values would need to be recorded against an individual field in a record as you could have an issue where [Device 1:Record 1: Field 1] is modified offline, and [Device 2: Record 1: Field 2] is also modified offline/online. In this case both changes should be kept.

Right now it is not possible to use Paperpile offline. If my PDFs are stored locally on my computer, I would like to be able to access them while offline. Also, Google Docs works offline, so I would like to be able to use Paperpile there at any time.

I think it is important to realize that the capability to access PDFs offline is absolutely not the same as using paperpile offline. What application should provide in offline mode is, most importantly:

If all I needed was to have my PDFs offline - well, I would just save them on my computer, or have them on a USB stick. I do not understand why offline mode is not a priority. It seems clear, based on this thread, that this functionality is in demand by users. I guess it is just very hard to do with the architecture of the app, where all these searches seem to be server-side.

But based on the number of likes this offline support issue received (10 likes) it seems to be quite competitive with the other issues you mentioned: Word plugin: 2 likes, PDF annotation: 14 likes, mobile app: 9 likes, ez-proxy support: 3 likes. Almost nobody asked?

Thanks for the input. I think the key point is that Paperpile is a web-app while all the others you mention are Desktop apps, which are by default offline. If you have to work in an office without internet at BU, a Desktop app might be the better choice.

for my case, recently I have some updates with the app while other users are still using it - I guess the data they sent to the app might not be going thru to server and stored in their local devices. Right now I turn of the "offline mode" to force all users to clear all the old data and sync properly with server first - after a while I will turn it back on once all the users have updated data shared with app.

Just re-set to offline use and the old alert message of missing files are still there on mobile version (desktop is totally fine with offline use). Reaching out to Help Center now, will keep you posted if there is any solution for the offline use.

Having same issue after 7 years without any concerns. Last few weeks I download all 3 offline stations and the moment I'm outta service (literally the ONLY time I need "offline" music.. it'll remove one station at a time until I have nothing.

Things I've noticed on diagnosing were:

- If phone screen is turned off, it'll play ONLY one song and then stop. When I open phone and pull up Pandora I'll have to swap stations and that station is removed. This continues until there's no music and only solution is to leave phone on draining battery.

- The music is still stored on phone, as while in service and stations downloaded, I record MB used with files from Pandora.

- If I download music with Wi-Fi at home and have "download with cellular" turned on, the moment Pandora disconnects from wifi it immediately triggers to begin downloading again. This is an issue if you pre download 3 stations and are doing so to use intentionally offline.

- if downloading over wifi, turning download with cellular off, I swap to "offline" mode or allow it to discover that I'm out of service, and then immediately turn airplane mode on then I used to be safe. Not any longer.

- I thought paying $4 more for premium would fix this above issue but no, zero difference.

This has been an ongoing issue for 3 months and I've just about absolutely lost it, all patience, and any faith in paying Pandora for a product that is essentially broken.
