Celebration hosts many celebrations every year, including community-wide yard sales, an art show, an exotic car festival, an annual Radio Disney Holiday concert, an Oktoberfest Celebration, the "Great American Pie Festival" (televised on The Food Network),[25] a "Posh Pooch" festival, and downtown events for the Fall and Christmas seasons when autumn leaves and "snow" (small-scale soap flakes) are released into the Town Center. The community also hosts a large Independence Day fireworks celebration. The town events are organized on the Internet by the Community Calendar.[26]

We invite you to partake in a delightful family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration held at noon at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! This celebration is specially designed for families to welcome 2024 well-before the clock strikes midnight.

The NCAA began its Title IX at 50 celebration during the 2022 NCAA Convention in Indianapolis. The celebration commemorates the anniversary of the landmark federal law signed in 1972 that prohibits gender discrimination in educational programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance.

The office of inclusion and national office working group staffed a Title IX at 50 booth at the Convention trade show where individuals could test their knowledge with Title IX trivia. They also gave away Title IX at 50 stickers and T-shirts and discussed celebratory plans as a kickoff to the celebration.

Celebratory activities also will take place at this year's NCAA Inclusion Forum on June 15-16, and various recognitions will occur at 2022 NCAA championships. Additionally, communications efforts will include social media features, resource materials, dedicated stories and Title IX membership spotlights. Members also will be asked to share their celebration initiatives for the Title IX at 50 website as part of the anniversary promotion.

All College Celebrations will be held at Matthews Arena, unless otherwise noted. Please plan to join fellow classmates and guests immediately following at the Husky Hospitality Hub at Cabot Physical Education Center, for refreshments, music and photo opportunities. The Husky Hospitality Hub will be open for 1.5 hours after the end of each College celebration. Each student will be allotted 3 guest tickets.

Our celebration will again be Virtual for the entire month of May, featuring your poster that you can watch daily. Please click here as soon as possible to upload your photo and a new biography, and we will design your new celebration poster! Please have someone do this for you if you cannot do this yourself.
