The Strange Dual-Line Master Cylinder is comprised of an impact resistant polymer reservoir and an aluminum body to accommodate dual threaded fittings (1/2 X 20). This economical drag race master cylinder option is a great fit for Sportsman Class cars. It is recommended for vehicles with single or double piston calipers (in front) and four-piston calipers in the rear. The 1.125-inch bore diameter delivers with all the fluid volume and pressure you need.

The Strange B3370 Billet Aluminum Drag Race Master Cylinder features a compact design and a remote reservoir for easy placement and filling. This fast fill drag race master cylinder delivers optimum pressure to the rear calipers with minimal pedal/lever travel. Since the B3370 is made from billet aluminum, it offers extraordinary rigidity with minimum weight. This drag race master cylinder is perfect for use in Funny Car applications and has a built-in proportioning valve. The B3370 is a four-wheel brake system drag race master cylinder.

For two-wheel drag race braking applications, Strange offers the B3362 Forged Aluminum Remote Fill Drag Race Master Cylinder. Not only is the master made from forged aluminum, but the brake fluid reservoir and cap are machined from billet aluminum to prevent damage from extreme heat. Optimum pedal/lever feel, and maximum consistency are characteristics of this ultra-lightweight drag race master cylinder that weighs in at only a single pound.

The current range of lightweight aluminium alloy master cylinders comprises 9 designs suitable for a wide variety of competition use.

Important:

All master cylinders are individually shimmed during manufacture to give a shorter cut off and less lost travel than equivalent production cylinders. Therefore push rods, pistons and other internal components should not be switched between individual master cylinders.

The 2024 A Racer's Edge Masters National Speed Series (NSS) is packed with races across the country! Some venues have extra speed training and races in addition to the designated NSS races so be sure to check the full event details when registering.

Age class medals are awarded at each event and overall season belt buckles at the final event. The overall Speed Series champions trophies are awarded to the overall fastest racer in each of three groups:

The weekend kicks off with a welcome party and racer check-in in Government Camp. Saturday starts early with a GS race followed by an BBQ/awards party with lots of food, beer, awards, and prizes. On Sunday there is a SL race followed by an awards party.

Masters ski racing is the premier adult ski racing series in the country. We are governed by United States Ski & Snowboard competition rules, the sanctioning body in the US for organized ski racing at all levels from juniors up through international and Olympic competition.

Far West Masters organizes US alpine masters competition in the Far West division. Our yearly schedule includes all disciplines (SL, GS, SG, and DH), with races held mainly at ski areas in the central Sierras. Racers from 21 to over 80 years old compete in ten-year age groups.

With regret, the decision was made this morning to cancel our scheduled opening GS/SLraces at Mammoth this coming weekend on Dec. 2-3. The planned race venue of Andy's Double Gold (ADG)is the Mammoth Race Department's top priority for snowmaking and slope preparation right nowand good progress is clearly being made now that we (finally!!) have good snowmaking conditions, but the assessment today is that it's not certain that we can achieve a good racing surface along withenough coverage for the necessary safety fencing on the sides of the run in time for the races.

So nature is feeding us feast or famine - last season we had bountiful early snow (too much even!),this season is starting off dry and warm everywhere in the Sierra. Mammoth has their snowmakingcrews going full blast and is working to open more runs each day, so there is some decent early season freeskiing for any who had plans to come this week for camp or the races - definitely enough to get out and make some turns.

Some encouraging news from Mammoth today: additional terrain has been opening through thisholiday week and Mammoth Race Department reports that conditions are currentlyfavorable for snowmaking. MRD will continue to assess the safety aspect throughout the next few days and send out another update on Monday, November 27th with the outlook for our masters season opening races.Safety is obviously a priority, we need snow levels deep enough to set gates and fencing on the race venue.

We encourage everyone considering racing next weekend to get your entries in before the Sunday night early registration deadline. There is no penalty for registering now, youcan still withdraw next week if your plans change, but it really helps the organizers and ourevent planning to have a good estimate of the field size the week prior to the event. So stop procrastinating, get your entries in now!

With regret, Mammoth Race Department has just announced the decision that our masterstraining camp that was scheduled for next Tue-Fri Nov. 28-Dec. 1 is cancelled. The decision is madebased on "safety precautions, snow depths, and current warm temperatures impeding on our ability to make snow".Disappointing news, though not entirely a surprise given the slow start to the winter seasonfor all our Sierra ski areas.

Mammoth is currently open for skiing, though with limited terrain availability, so there is a leastan opportunity to get out and make some turns for any coming next week. MRD is planning to provide an update on the outlookfor our races the following weekend of Dec. 2-3 on this coming Friday Nov. 24.

It was with tremendous sadness that we received the news of the passing of Gate DeMattei on September 26. We can genuinely say that Gate was admired,loved, and respected. He will be deeply missed by the masters racing communityin Far West and around the nation.

The preliminary 2023-2024 race schedule is now available!
