Have you tried getting directly in touch with them about it? Seems like they don't really bother much on the forums in relation to camera issues for some reason which is worrying.

It seems to be happening less frequently in this example, I'm not sure why. Do you have lots of apps open when you're doing this? And 8GB or 16GB of RAM? I wonder if something like that is causing it. It's frustrating to see for sure.

When I first bought my my Arlo Pro 2 package, the set up was fairly easy. I was able to set the whole thing up without a hitch. What I did notice though on the Arlo app was at times, I couldn't connect and view the cameras through the app. It was really random and couldn't find any common factor what could be causing it. I logged times, etc etc. Signal at my house was pretty much good all around since I don't have a big house.

At times I would be able to view on one camera but not the others or 2 cameras but not the 3rd one. Close the app and relaunch, I would be able to see all cameras but I wouldn't be able to do the same on another mobile device with the Arlo app. So at this point I lived with it..lol

The camera setup is composed of a 64 MP standard-wide camera, a 12 MP ultra-wide and an 8 MP tele-lens module for 3X optical zoom. Stabilization is present in the main and the tele modules. For video, the device can shoot up to 8K UHD (7680 x 4320) at 30 FPS but also 4K 60/30 FPS and 4K AutoFPS (which changes frame rate dynamically between 60 and 30 fps depending on the content). All video modes provide stabilization.

In these tests we shoot a selection of images in pitch-black darkness as well as with city lights in the background providing some illumination. We shoot sample images with the camera at default settings in both flash-auto and flash-off modes. We analyze all image quality attributes but we pay particular attention to exposure, autofocus, and color. We do not test night modes that have to be activated manually.

In these tests we analyze the performance of the ultra-wide camera at several focal lengths from 12 to 20 mm. We look at all image quality attributes, but we pay particular attention to such artifacts as chromatic aberrations, lens softness, and distortion.

In these tests we analyze residual motion when handholding the camera during recording, as well as when walking and running with the camera. We also look for stabilization artifacts such as jello effect, sharpness differences between frames, and frame shift (abrupt changes of framing).

Automated event action rules allow administrators to customize alarm handling rules (SOP). When an event occurs, the system can select different measures to handle the situation based on the type of event that occurred or the time the event occurred. These different measures include actively sending out email/SMS notifications to different groups, smartphone push notifications, activating multiple cameras to begin recording, assigning cameras to patrol a specific area or activating other external devices* providing automated and intelligent event handling.

When disruptions occur, you'll know immediately. You can use Surveillance Center's Event Management function to keep you informed of critical events. Whether these events are an alarm trigger, motion trigger or a disconnected camera, you can configure Surveillance Center to send you notification immediately via email or SMS.

Surveillance Center provides role based access control, allowing administrators to create roles for users according to their responsibilities, administrative tasks that they are able to execute, and the camera feed playback and administrative functions available to them. These roles can then be assigned to users based on their responsibilities and administrative tasks that they are able to execute, significantly increasing management convenience and flexibility.

The all-new RTSP Streaming Server, gives system integrators the ability to conveniently integrate Surveillance Center with 3rd party equipment, allowing any device supporting RTSP to receive real-time video feeds from cameras on the network managed by Surveillance Center. Furthermore, RTSP streaming server also allows users to manage the number of connections and remove any malicious connections.

The Surveillance Center system can define recording storage quotas according to the storage space size or retention period. Additionally, different storage quotas can be configured according to different camera priorities allowing administrators to easily achieve effective recording using limited storage capacity.

Sometimes you may not want your cameras to be turned on. The camera power on and off function allows you to turn off cameras at any time. When you need you cameras to begin surveillance again you can turn them on instantly. Additionally, users can use the schedule setting to configure the automatic powering on and off of cameras increases operation flexibility while reducing the time required for maintenance.

Now, you can preserve camera settings by exporting them to folders on the NAS which not only provides a backup, but also allows for the easy deployment of camera settings to other Surveillance Center installations.

A Solution designed for systems with multiple servers spread across different locations, CMS Lite allows surveillance professionals to have more flexibility and convenience when monitoring and playing back video. It can centralize management for up to 256 IP cameras and ASUSTOR NVRs in up to 32 different locations, significantly enhancing management efficiency.

Hello, I'd really appreciate some ideas. After upgrading Zoom on Friday (and uninstalling / re-installing several times since) my Asus laptop camera has stopped working in Zoom meetings on Windows 10. The camera works with other programmes like Teams and Google Meet and I've tried all of the things that I've seen others trying (rebooting computer, updating camera drivers, checking no conflicting programmes, checking all settings and permissions etc.) to no avail. I even had my work IT team remote in and take a look and they had no idea, either - they just tried everything I did.

How did you get your camera to work? My zoom camera stopped working on my ASUS laptop recently too. It worked in the morning and then it stopped working in the afternoon. I see a blurred grey background with a small camera in the middle, that's it. The camera work for other applications but not zoom.:(

The root cause of the camera error 0xA00F4244 is often linked to issues with the camera driver. If this driver is outdated or corrupted, it might not effectively communicate with the hardware, leading to this error.

Resolving this issue can often be as straightforward as updating the camera driver. Windows frequently has updates from manufacturers available within its system. By executing a Windows Update, you can ensure that your camera driver is current.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 could arrive any day now, and there is no denying that the phone is going to pack some of the best hardware available on the market. However, the one thing that is not always a primary focus for gaming phones is the camera system, but the company has teased something that might give us what we are looking for.

The past Asus ROG phones have been great in terms of specs, but the cameras have been lacking. That is possibly going to change with the Asus ROG Phone 8 because, based on the latest teaser from the company, the phone will deliver a "brand new camera system."

Sadly, the given information does not reveal the exact camera system Asus is going to use for the ROG Phone 8, but I really hope that it is a higher-end sensor so we can actually take some stellar pictures with great dynamic range and everything else you would want from a high-end smartphone camera.

The new teaser also reveals the camera island on the Asus ROG Phone 8, and it shows the look Asus is going for this time around. It is slightly different than what we have seen on past phones, but it does maintain its angular look.
