This Desktop Calendar has a full desktop view and it is loaded with organizer features. It is a free program that acts as a good alternative to the software that is already installed on your computer. The program also has many of the features you tend to find in paid programs so consider this calendar before you buy one.

The Desktop Calendar interface is clean but that is partially due to its less-than-ample features. It does have all you would expect such as an organizing section a clear view of the days and months and the ability to write things on your calendar but it could use a few advanced functions such as a better notification system and the ability to color code or group your tasks. It is loaded with organizer features but one feels it could use a few more sorting and categorizing features too.

The Desktop Calendar acts as a great calendar that doubles over as an organizer. It has more features than one may expect from a calendar program but it could replace paid calendar apps if it just did a little more. However the program is free and non-intrusive so one feels obliged to give it the thumbs up. It doesn?t lag it doesn?t stutter and it doesn?t slow your computer down.

As a side note: How can you guarantee you will receive the desktop notifications? Do you have to have calendar.google.com open in some tab in Chrome when the notification is set to go off? Do you have to be signed in to your Google account in some tab? etc

I had the same problem with Linux Mint. Calendar just appeared and could not remove it like other desktop widgets. Obviously, it'd clicked something, somewhere to add this but have no-idea what it was.

This happens to me when the panel is moved to the left or right side of the screen, then resized to be big enough that a calendar appears in the panel. When the panel is then resized smaller, the widget seems to attach to the desktop instead of being deleted altogether.

Do you want to replace their dull desktop wallpaper with a calendar? Even better. How would you like to have your calendar open automatically whenever you launch your computer? If so, you can if using Windows or Mac OS.

If all else fails, install a desktop widget like Rainlender, Mini Calendar, OneCalendar, or Google Calendar. They may not be packed with features. However, they do all you to view all of your online calendars right from your desktop without jumping through hoops.

Within the last couple of weeks, when they open Outlook, they see the calendar twice. They can close one, but it re-loads next time they launch Outlook. Not a major problem, but apparently a major annoyance for a couple of key users.

I ran the "outlook.exe /resetnavpane" and the problem seemed to have resolved, but then the shared calendar disappears from their phones. As soon as I add it back to their phones then the duplicate re-appears in Outlook.

Google Calendar is available on all devices. However, how to access it varies from one to another. What's more, using Google Calendar on the desktop is not as straightforward as setting the mobile app. Therefore, we will present different alternatives for configuring the Google Calendar desktop view while prioritizing the ease of use and convenient features in choosing the best option.

No. Despite the popularity of Google Calendar, and the well-known Android and iOS versions, Google has not released a desktop version, and it doesn't seem that it will do so in the future. Google's idea of offering cloud-hosted products urges us to think that Google Calendar will remain as a web app to access from the browser. As such, for using Google Calendar on desktop, the options are:

Among the options for using Calendar for Desktop, Stack is the most complete one. Mainly, because Stack allows you to organize your calendar view like no other browser. Stack can do this by ditching the aged paradigm of single-view tabbed browsing. To be precise, rather than showing web pages in tabs, Stack uses cards that fit one next to the other, drawing upon the full size of your screen.

In this way, Stack lets you fit your calendar or calendars in a single view as side-by-side windows known as cards. In the case of Google Calendar, you can open it multiple times while keeping a single, broad view of every page:

These cards are held together on boards known as stacks. You can organize stacks to contain pages according to your needs; Stack will make room on your screen to make them fit harmoniously. In such a manner, if you want to check your calendars' events, modify, delete, or add new ones, just click on your stack for calendars, and you will find them all together.

You can use Stack for Google Calendar on Mac too. Follow the steps mentioned above to have your calendar organized into side-by-side cards. So you can go ahead and download Stack Browser for Mac here.

In like manner, the Outlook email desktop client app, while centered on mailing, also works as a calendar client. Hence, you can use Google Calendar in Outlook by connecting your Google account. If you haven't set up an account on the app yet, follow these steps:

Plus, in Firefox and Safari, you can click on the padlock icon next to Google Calendar's address, hold the mouse and drag the page to your desktop or folder in which you want to locate the shortcut. This method works on Chrome as well.

This is also the case for calendars. You could just sync calendars of different accounts into a single one, at the price of mixing them. In this regard, Stack offers native support for multi-accounting. Plus, it lets you keep your calendars from different accounts together in a single place:

What's more, Stack is a very powerful yet flexible tool. Stack is made for letting each of your web apps shine. This, of course, includes your calendars, which can benefit from the many features Stack offers.

Hi, I logged in this morning to set up my weekly schedule only to find that none of my posts were showing in the desktop calendar version! None of the scheduled nor the previously published. I could see them on the instagram preview on desktop and on my ipad version but not on the desktop calendar. Please, is this something I have done or is this a problem with later at the moment? I am new to this program and still getting to grips with it but cant find a similar report on community. I can't even find a way of reporting it to later! I read another post which said that because i was on the growth plan i could go to the chat bot on desktop and ask to chat to someone about it but I can't even find the chat bot to do that. Anybody else having this problem? ff782bc1db
