I am using bubbleupnp to stream Qobuz to jplaystreamer using twin win2012 servers, both in core mode using AO, one as Control PC and one as Audio PC. Firstly, let me say how impressed I have been with the sound quality up to now, both streaming 16-bit and playing my local 24-bit downloads (purchased from Qobuz) using minimserver/streamer (up to 24/96).

I am interested in 24-bit streaming from Qobuz so have added the hi-res sublime+ demo playlist to my subscribed playlists (the idea being to test the hi-res streaming before subscribing to either of the sublime options). Playing any of these tracks results in nothing but fairly consistent white noise, even though 24-bit playback is selected in the bubbleupnp settings for qobuz..

Selecting playback via local renderer on bubbleupnp however, produces perfect playback on my Android device, indicated as flac 44.1 24 bit, so it seems the issue may lie with jplaystreamer. I realise that 24-bit track file sizes are larger but I believe bubbleupnp (wireless android) acts as a controller and the music itself is sent direct to the Control PC (wired), so bandwidth over wireless vs Ethernet should not be an issue!

But I don't have google play on my Jolla (like to keep it that way), so the bubbleupnp app on my Jolla (aptoide store) is limited in use... There is a license on the Aptiode store, but it doesn't work. In the app itself there's a link to 'buy a license', which directs you to the Amazon store.. But in the comment I read a lot of the same problems I described earlier.

I'd guess you are better off asking someone from bubbleupnp instead of your phoneOS manufacturer. Especially with lots of people having the same issue it is phone independent but depending on google accounts and services. ff782bc1db
