I have been using my chromecast for years now and all fine but now i seem to have lost the cast icon on itvx, and i think i may have coincided with the change from itv hub.

I can cast from my iphone with netflixs, bbc iplayer I only have the issue with itv x specifically and i have checked i have the lastest version of the app and chromecast is working?!

I can view bbc tv on iplayer out of uk on my pc but i cannot use my Samsung tablet. Any way around this problem?

I know bbc require using android greater than 4.1 which I do but still am not able to connect. Tablet was working on

november but not now. Will I have togive upon my tablet or just use my pc?

It doesn't work, just went down to 4.0 and installed ATV Flash (black) just to try it out. The normal desktop iplayer website asks to install flash, the mobile version says that the mobile device [apple TV] is not yet supported. The wait continues!

alternatively get_iplayer might well run on the command line, but that's obviously a whole lot more fiddly than using the browser (but if it can be demonstrated to work, well that opens up the possibility of an app or firecore plugin in the relatively near future..) ff782bc1db
