A Quick Question is generally a brief but specific question regarding some writing or formatting convention. Typically, they are the sort of question one of our trained consultants can answer in 10 minutes or less. If the answer takes longer to find or has a more complex explanation, we will suggest scheduling a consultation for more detailed help.

Which one would you prefer: "quick question" or "short question" for a question that you know is simple and will only take a moment to answer? Or maybe "simple question"? The problem I have with "quick question" is that I don't think a question may be "quick", because it is not moving anywhere.

What any of us might prefer is immaterial. A short question is one that contains only a few words. A quick question is one which the questioner hopes, perhaps unrealistically, can be readily dealt with. Quick has many meanings, and they are certainly not limited to describing a fast-moving object.

is a common expression and is a way for the asker to indicate to the askee that they are asking for a brief moment of their time - implying an "interruption" for a question but that by its brevity, should not take too much of their time.

"I have quick question" invariably is a clue to me the questioner doesn't understand that the answer will be long and involved. In fact, in my experience, "just a quick question" is an excuse to interrupt.

It's time for another installment of Dangerous Bangers. Today, Daniel submits Delirious (1991) starring John Candy for the judgment of the Dangerous Bangers Association. They touch on TV proms, bad writers rooms, the problematic '90s, and soap opera writers with magical powers - all in pursuit of an answer to the most vital question - is it a banger?

You may be referred to your primary advisor for issues such as removing holds, graduation checks or course planning related to financial aid. Many quick questions are also addressed in the Advising FAQs.

I don't blame these guys. After all, I've led sales teams at organizations for over 15 years now and I've read all the books and articles. I know that if you give someone a quick, easy question to answer then they're much more likely to respond. I also know that salespeople love data and that they often follow a scripted path. The "quick question" strategy was once a big thing-- after all, check out these open rates! However, smart sales strategists have moved on.

Here's the thing about getting the attention of someone you want to connect with. If you're doing what everyone else is doing (even if it has a proven success record) you will be ignored. If everyone has a quick question for me, then answering is simply not quick.

And here's the thing about the advice to be original. It may not always get you the meeting, but it will always cut through the clutter. And in today's day and age, where we're not even looking up from our Pokemon GO screens to cross the street, let alone speak to someone in real life, no one is going to answer the "quick question" emails.

Quick Questions allow you to quickly assess or poll students in class. Teachers usually say questions out loud or write them on the board for their class. Students can then answer the questions through Socrative.

Hi everyone,

I have a quick and probably easy to answer beginners question regarding the bypass capacitor placement in the following application.

I am using an InvenSense MPU 6050 in my project. The data sheet gives us the following typical operating circuit on page 22 section 7.2:

03680682 21 KB

My question is: Are these two schematics electrically the same? Logically to me they are, as the ground plane will connect all pins connected to ground. However I wanted to ask here because maybe some pins have to be connected to these bypass caps directly before being connected to the ground plane. To be sure I wanted to ask here

Im doing the building a piano lessons. I am working on learning the content element. This is not a question needing help. They are explaining about the empty string, that I understand this element. This isnt something o a keyboard.

Rapid fire questions are a quick and easy activity that can help employees get to know each other. These games move fast and do not require much time. While there is pressure to respond quickly, players do not have to agonize about formulating a perfect answer. These games can be a great way to learn lots of personal information in a short period of time. Not to mention, the informal nature of the activity can help team members overcome jitters at work and feel more comfortable around coworkers.

There are many ways to use rapid fire questions at work, including as icebreakers, twenty-questions, employee profiles, team building games activities, and as energizers during meetings. Players can answer by writing down and revealing responses one by one, filling out a form, typing answers into a chat box, answering a poll, or by taking turns replying out loud.

The main difference between rapid fire questions and icebreaker questions is that rapid fire questions are meant to be answered instantly, while icebreaker questions can take more time and may involve careful thought.

If you have a lot of questions that cannot be covered in 30 minutes or if you are looking for an in-depth conversation with an academic advisor, please book a full-length session through the appointment manager.

Hey, guys!

I have a quick but very important question:

One of my files was a free file of the month last year and it was downloaded more than 20 000 times, so do you think that it would be a bad idea and a super hassle if i try to monetize it through Identifyy?

Thanx a lot in advance for your help and answers!

I just have a brief question about using spread operators on objects, when we are trying to return a copy of the object with a field changed. I've been working through a PluralSight tutorial having a lot to do with React and Redux, and I've run into this usage of the spread operator:

I came here specifically to ask how to do this and you've got the answer: Mass Storage Mode. The manual says to use PTP but that sure didn't work. I've done a number of google searches and even sent an email to Leica customer support. They're all busy building Q3's and can't be bothered with questions. I hadn't tried mass storage mode and that was the answer Thank you so much! No more removal of either the battery or SD card...life is good. e24fc04721
