Hi, I have a question. on listening section, does the second question appear after a few seconds showing the first question automatically or do I have control of seeing the second questions, may be like pushing confirm and next button then my second question come up. I have done online listening practice questions, some of the questions run out so quickly on some test, some are so slow. I know speaking roughly 30 sec per question or less is aimed for, but do I have control of spending 10 sec per question or 40 seconds for next question on listening?

Thank you very much for this. I did not see this kind of information described perfectly anywhere. I had recently given my TOEFL exam but messed up in the listening section. I had prepared according to the total time countdown for listening section. But surprisingly, the format appeared to be very different than what I had practiced. I had roughly 6 minutes for 2 conversations, 1 lecture, 11 minutes for 3 lecture and 1 conversation. There was no overall timer countdown of 41 minutes nor any timer during the lecture or conversation. The timer only played during answering and paused during the audio. I missed answering entire 7-8 questions because clock stopped. Students who will be giving the test, Pls. take care of this.
