The Magni+ connects via Wall-Wart. So basically, I can plug my beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm's into the AMP, but then the AMP just connects into the wall. I don't know which cables I need to plug into my computer to transmit the audio through the amp (thus, through my headphones), as my computer doesn't have the Red and White RCA inputs that is on the back of my AMP.

Feel free to post your questions, show off your setups, and more. Follow the rules and everyone will have a good time. We encourage the use of specialty subreddits when appropriate and will refer you when we feel your post would be better suited.

We are not a Legal Advice Subreddit. DO NOT post asking for assistance cleaning up audio for any legal matter which may be used in a court of Law. Specifically, for audio to be used in a legal matter, (depending on the state) it MUST remain unaltered. Consult your locality/attorney for best advice for your situation. Don't let some rando on reddit complicate your situation.

The comments section of the Share Mine community promotion post pinned at the top of the sub is the ONLY place here to discuss or link to anything you are affiliated with including; your site, article, blog, podcast, audio, video, product, app, funding campaigns, surveys, market research, or anything else by you, for you, or about you. NO EXCEPTIONS. Things which are NOT relevant or a valid basis for appeal; good intentions, whether it is free or not, who pays for hosting, etc.

Evaluation / Critiques requests are not allowed as submission to the subreddit front page. These kinds of requests should use the comments section of the Evaluation Request sticky post feature which is posted every Monday.

This subreddit is NOT friendly to piracy of copyrighted works or authorization scams. Do not discuss, request or offer advice about piracy or link to sites related to piracy or to pirated / cracked copyrighted material such as media, software, or plugins. Do not discuss any facet of cracked / pirated material / authorization scamming no matter who brings it up. Anyone doing so will be permanently banned.

Links must not contain referrals or use third party link tracking services and will be removed by the subreddit moderators. The reddit site-wide filter automatically removes links using URL shorteners.

Posts from these types of accounts most often involve rule violations OR spam / self-promotion. New accounts may not post but can participate in the comments. Negative and no karma accounts will not be able to post

The promotion of audio drama is not only allowed on this subreddit, it is highly encouraged. This applies to both listeners recommending audio dramas that they enjoy, and to audio drama creators promoting their own work. Creators should identify themselves as being associated with a show when posting.

This community is dedicated to audio drama in its various forms. While this includes many types of content, the main focus here is on fictional and dramatized audio storytelling. Currently, the following topics are not allowed here:

Posts promoting or about specific audio drama shows should contain the title of the show in the headline. Within the body of the post, there should be a description of what the show is about, along with links to where listeners can access it. If the show is a podcast, links to it should include an RSS feed.

Mature subjects are allowed with the condition that any such posts and comments about them refrain from including graphic images and/or text, and that any such posts are marked as NSFW. Posts and comments referencing very graphic content may be removed.

Installed the package pulseaudio-module-jack using APT to make PulseAudio output to Jack, but when running pactl load-module module-jack-sink or pactl load-module module-jack-source to start the module, I get the output Failure: No such entity, and sure enough, when I run pactl list modules to check, there is 21 modules from libpipewire and one named module-always-sink, nothing with Jack.

Not sure if it matters, but I use Cadence from the KXstudio repository to run the audio from my Focusrite Scarlett Solo Gen 4 through Guitarix with Jack and back into the headphones plugged into it using the ALSA driver and that works just fine, only issue that I can't output PulseAudio to the headphones while Jack is using them, thus can't hear the PC audio and the Jack audio at the same time.

So I have this problem where I'm downloading a plugin from the LABS library but it doesnt come with a dll or vst file, therefore my Daw (cakewalk) doesnt scan or recognize the plugin, even though I properly located all the downloaded files. I'm new to music production and I'm also new to computer stuff in general so maybe theres just something that I dont know about this everything. Sorry if this question is dumb, I'd appreciate any help?

So lately GoodNotes added the ability to record audio which was a great feature, but as we all know it's not perfect, like we cannot control the speed of the playback, we cannot export the audios, we cannot rename the audios, etc...

You can also tell Siri to do it for you. Just say "hey Siri, Dastan Export Audio" it will get the ".goonotes" file you have copied from the clipboard and start immediately from the 5th step down below.

I would love a bluetooth solution, where a master bluetooth hub would connect to a source like a phone or a laptop and stream the same audio to all the slave receivers. Does this exist ? Bonus if the receivers could work individually as bluetooth devices

This subreddit is NOT friendly to piracy of copyrighted works. The owners of this site have made it clear that piracy is not allowed on reddit. Do not request pirated / cracked copyrighted material. Do not submit links to cracked software / plugins or sites related to piracy. Do not offer advice on how to obtain cracked / pirated material. Anyone doing so will be permanently banned.

Links which are an affiliate, are referrals, and those that use third party link tracking services will be removed. Be aware that the reddit site-wide filter automatically removes links using URL shorteners.

New accounts and those with no/low karma may not post in this subreddit. This is a spam, troll, and other trouble account prevention measure. The rule is a common practice around reddit and has proven to be effective in handling the problems it was designed to address. Those who are new or have low karma can resolve it quite easily by participating in the comments of other posts here or around reddit before attempting to post here again.

The subreddit is focused on the professional CRAFTS of mixing and mastering. Posts about recording, production, composition, etc, don't really belong here, we are not yet another general music production subreddit. We also DON'T do gear/software troubleshooting, plenty of other subreddits for that. Please read our about page to check a comprehensive list of what is and what isn't a valid topic for a post.

Don't link directly to a website, make it a text post. Avoid spam-y titles (such as: "The Best Mixing Online" or any other equally dumb click-bait title), be transparent. Introduce yourself to the community, describe what you do and feel free to link to as many things as you want inside ONE post (not every time you have a new thing). If you have a YouTube channel or something that is VERY mixing related, you are also welcome to introduce us to it and link to different examples from it (ONCE).

This shouldn't need to be said since it's just common sense, but that's the internet for you. This is a positive community comprised mostly of people who are trying to learn to mix. Negative, unconstructive or "douche-y" comments or posts of any kind have no place in this subreddit, even for the purposes of humor.

We don't judge piracy, but we don't want to encourage it or permit it in our subreddit. It's therefor forbidden to post or request pirated software, books, paid/subscription based videos or anything like that, in posts or comments.

Honestly, how could they have made the footstep audio this much worse than what it already was? Its genuinely shocking how bad it is right now. multiple games I've had a full team run up on me with zero audio until they are now 5 meters away.

Every single time I look up threads like "Is Audio Engineering a realistic Career" or "I want to be an Audio Engineer" I almost get my heart shattered when I almost only see many responses ranging from "No it does not pay well and it is unlikely" to "maybe if you're super lucky you can survive".I'm not quite exclusively talking about starting a studio in a small town and expecting to make money, I'm not stupid, I feel I understand well that there are a lot of others my age that are also attempting to make a living/career out of something with not high demand, but my extreme passion for this career is almost entirely extinguished when I rarely see any positive responses or encouragement.

I have also done sound for some other small local bands and found I possessed the skills (people and technical) to have a good time and put out a good sound. I'm no Ryan Renolds or Leonardo DiCaprio, but I think I am pretty sociable (and enjoy it) and am pretty far from socially awkward (I'm not like some shut-in incel is what I'm trying to say). I make mistakes sometimes, but I really enjoy the thrill and stakes of live sound even if I'm not perfect at it. I have been playing piano for 5 years, and the creative exploratory aspect of music gives me so much joy, I have also been lightly making music for myself for 3 years, nothing Spotify worthy, but In an alternative timeline I likely would pursue being an artist fulltime. 2351a5e196
