During the meeting or event, organizers can find the attendance report in the People > Participants pane of the meeting. After the meeting or event ends, organizers can view and download the attendance and engagement report under the Attendance tab of the invite. Organizers can also access the attendance report through the meeting or event's chat. For example, a teacher can download the attendance report at the start of class as a simple way to do a roll call. If the teacher has a Teams Premium license, they can also use the engagement report to see how many students reacted, raised their hand, unmuted, interacted with Q&A and turned on their cameras during the online class.

There's another big issue with meeting attendance reports: the report only shows who was in the meeting while the organizer is there. For example, let's say Fred is an organizer who joins a meeting a 9:15 AM. Sally is an attendee who joins the meeting at 9:00 AM.

One further note: all of this applies to Teams meetings. Teams Live Events have completely different reports and they work as you'd expect them to (complete attendance regardless of when the organizer joined, they can be downloaded after the meeting, etc.).

I'm seeing this same behavior even though the meeting thread shows multiple attendance reports. It appears that you can download the attendance report for different instances of the meeting but sometimes when you download the reports, they all contain the records for the most recent meeting instance and sometimes they contain the correct records for the meeting instance that I selected.

The problem still continues as of 08th of January 2023

If a student has joined the lecture after the main session is over, even the older attendance report shows only that single person in the csv file.

@Gerard_Kelly I have had this problem on a number of occasions. I just found a solution. In the upper left corner is a pull down of the various instances of the meeting. By selecting the correct on I was able to obtain the primary meeting attendance @ 8:55:20, and avoid the secondary meeting that occurred when someone signed in later @ 10:28:55. This may be old news, but I just found it. Thanks.

If you've organized a Teams meeting, you can download a current attendance report during the meeting as well as a final report after the meeting. The report includes the name of each person in the meeting and the time they joined and left.

So I run a company-wide meeting, and I use the attendace reports afterward to create metrics for the series. Today, I ended a meeting, and someone logged back into the meeting for 8 seconds after it had ended. The Attendance report that got generated says that only 1 person joined the meeting. I can go into details and click on attendance, and I can find a report of the original meeting and all of the attendees, but there is no way to download it, and when I highlight and paste it all to excel, it all shows up in one column WITH THE EMPLOYEE'S NAME AND EMAIL ADDRESS IN THE SAME CELL AND NOT EVEN A SPACE OR DELIMITING CHARACTER BETWEEN THE LAST NAME AND START OF THE EMAIL ADDRESS.
