The ethernet drivers are included in Apple Mobile Device Support. The installer for that is contained in the iTunes installers. Have you been getting an error message about Apple Mobile Device Support when installing iTunes? If so, what does it say? (Precise text, please.)

My pc does recognize my iPhone and the USBethernet but I seem to lack a driver. I have tried multiple attempts from other post including where you find the driver manually on your pc via this path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\netdrivers.

If you take a deep look into windows device manager, you will see there's a device not recognized with no driver installed with a name that can differ with each case. It will usually say something like Apple USB Ethernet.

Having the driver, go into the "faulty device" again and right click -> update -> look in MY PC -> choose from a list on MY PC -> use disc -> examine -> select .inf file on the driver folder you just downloaded -> next next next.

This will not work if, after installing the driver into the device, you get a message with some type of error like couldn't init device or whatever. The device on the list will now have a yellow triangle. This means you installed the wrong driver, so just uninstall and look for the correct one. THIS IS WHY WINDOWS UPDATE EXISTS!!!

I have been searching for a solution for this for ages. Just found out one difference between W11 Home and W11 Pro is no mobile device drivers on the Home version. Very hard to force downloads or updates.

I've had a lot of issues sharing my apple tethered iphone (Usb) to an ethernet device. The device is seeing the windows 10 laptop but not the internet. The computer is serving a local IP address but it's different than the connection with the iphone (expected).

Goto control panel-->device manager-->universal serial bus--> then apple mobile device-->Clicked on driver-->then on update driver-->FIXED it. laptop now sees my ipone when plugged in. EASY! Way less trouble than other posts here! Mine was not working since the 13.1.1 IOS update.
