is there no direct connection from Quicken desktop to download apple credit card transactions from a laptop? I don't use Quicken on my iphone so just having the download available to the phone isn't really workable or convenient.

Quicken Simplifi offers the ability to import transactions into any banking or credit card account using a CSV file. You can create a CSV file using our downloadable template or import directly from Mint, Personal Capital, or Apple Card.

Download Apple Card Transactions To Quicken

Any plans allowing Quicken to download apple.card.com transactions to download daily? Limiting us to a monthly statement download to our financial budgeting software means Apple & Goldman Sachs expects us to come up with a month's worth of purchases all at once, or else pay their 11% finance charge, which isn't reasonable for those of us living within a budget. The only alternative I have right now is to manually add each of these transactions to Quicken every day. Gold-Sachs allows their other accounts to interface directly with Quicken...not sure why Apple's link was throttled to pass transactions to Quicken. Hoping this will change soon.

I did find a temporary solution for this and want to share in case it helps others: I installed Mint, which accepts daily transactions. Then I downloaded a free Quicken Importer from So every day I open Mint & Quicken, then run the QIFImport which has a mapping to my apple.card.com account in Quicken and it pulls in the daily transactions for me. It's a few more keystrokes but in the end, it takes about the same amount of time as waiting on the Quicken Auto-downloader each day takes.

@JeffDonald - since you were on Intuit's beta team, maybe you can answer this: does Quicken interface with Mint? I'm wondering if Mint supports the daily downloads from apple.card.com, could I use Mint to grab my apple.card.com transactions and then have that Mint account linked into Quicken somehow?

I signed up for an account with Simplfi since Mint is going away. Lack of Apple Card is a significant deal breaker for me as I use this card for a majority of my transactions. Lack of integration here will likely result in a significant loss of existing revenue from members who already exist, and an opportunity loss in revenue from those migrating from Mint who use Apple Card.

In my experience (Product Management), knowing that Mint has an integration with Apple Card, this means the technology feasibility already exists. This is simply on Quicken to build this integration.

I think I posted somewhere, the bank behind apple card (Goldan Sachs), last i heard, was still looking to get rid of Apple card - so if it's potentially a card near death, why put the effort into supporting it? (see : -goldman-sachs-apple-card-issues/)

@moneyhound I don't have an apple card, however, I will note I think Simplifi uses Intuit (mint's parent company, and former Quicken parent company) to provide at least some of their bank connection technology. So, in theory, if mint can support it, you would think Quicken Simplifi could. The only thing would be if Intuit for some reason didn't share their connection for this bank with Quicken Simplifi for some reason.

other financial institutions let you download transactions whenever you want to. it appears that apple only lets you download an entire statement after that statement has closed. not very useful for keeping track of spending as it occurs

Downloading your data is the most convenient way to get your transactions and other account information from your bank, credit card company, and other financial institutions into Quicken. Instead of entering each transaction manually, you can set up your accounts for automatic download directly into Quicken. To set up your online accounts, see Setting up accounts.

Am I missing something? Is there really no way to automatically download Apple Card transactions to Quicken? I'm able to set up my other credit cards (Amex, Capital One, etc) to automatically download my transactions; however, as far as I can tell, the only way to get transactions for my Apple Card is to manually download each statement and import them into Quicken using a minimum of four steps: opening the Apple Card app on my phone, clicking on each statement, exporting each statement to my MacBook Pro via AirDrop, then importing that file into Quicken. Anyways, while helping a family member with a huge court case, I had to pull all her banking transactions for every bank 3 years - DONE. Since I have it in excel I want to get her on a financial program (quicken or Banktivity).

Reminders of upcoming recurring transactions appear at the top of the Transactions page, as do tools for importing transactions (from Mint, Empower, your Apple card, or a CSV file) or exporting them as CSV files. You can select filters for your transaction list, search for specific ones, or add them manually. And you can earmark them as one-time bills or set them up as recurring. Only Quicken has better transaction management in this group of apps.

Upgrades to Royal's Credit Card Online Access system on November 8, 2021, will change the way that Members use Quicken and Quickbooks bookkeeping software to retrieve their credit card transactions. Please note that only credit cards are affected by this change, not other accounts or loans. 006ab0faaa
