Hello so I used to be a huge Fairy tail fan, it has been a huge part of my childhood and ofc I heard about Eden Zero a while ago but I did not want to start because it didnt have enough chapters. Now they are many chapters and anime.

Do you think I should watch the anime or read the manga? Back in the days, I used to do both for Fairy tail but then I swtiched to manga only because the art style was waaay superior in manga but I did miss the soundtrack of the anime which was amazing. Also I want to ask if reading would be better because anime might skip content, censor violence and fan service (lol)

I started reading Edens Zero back when it started but i stopped around chapter 70. Now there's an anime version but i've read that it's animation is lackluster. I want to read/watch the story from the beginning so i've been wondering:

The highly anticipated second season of the anime, Edens Zero, has set its release date for April 01, 2023 overseas, after dropping a new trailer for fans to get a glimpse of what's in store for them. The anime's opening theme song for season 2 will be "Never say Never" by Takanori Nishikawa. Edens Zero is a sci-fi anime series based on the manga of the same name by Hiro Mashima. Produced by J.C. Staff, Edens Zero began airing its first season in April 2021.

The anime follows the adventures of a young boy named Shiki Granbell, who has lived his entire life among robots on a deserted planet called Granbell. Shiki befriends a girl named Rebecca, who is a "B-Cuber" - a type of social media celebrity who posts videos online. Together with her cat companion, they embark on a journey across the cosmos, exploring new worlds, meeting new people, and facing numerous challenges along the way.

The first season of Edens Zero ended with the crew of the Edens Zero spaceship departing from the planet Norma, after having defeated the Rogue Out organization and its leader, Sibir. In the final scene, the crew is seen travelling through space towards a new adventure, with the main character Shiki Granbell declaring his determination to explore the cosmos and make new friends. Following the passing of director Yuji Suzuki before the first season's final episode aired, the future of the series was uncertain, but it was later announced that the anime would return for a second season.

Edens Zero is a 2021 anime series and a reboot of the series that originally aired in Japan beginning on April 11, 2021. The first half of Season 1 was released in North America by Netflix on August 26, 2021, which was followed by a November 24 release of its last half of the season. A second Season is released in Japan on April 2, 2023.

When it comes to Fairy Tail, there aren't many anime series that can compare to its fantastical universe, character-driven narrative, and creativity. This series was nothing short of a hit, albeit with mixed opinions. In fact, Fairy Tail was so popular, that shortly after its end Hiro Mashima came out with a series so similar that it could be considered a remake.

Fairy Tail's start in comparison is more light-hearted, as is the show as a whole. It is fast, abrupt, and comedic. Within two episodes Lucy's dream of joining the Fairy Tail guild has come true, and there isn't much of an established story beyond that. Rather the anime seems to take things one episode at a time for a while. In this way, Edens Zero is much more successful in getting audiences invested straight away.

Fairy Tail did not have this. In fact, the series was meant to end with the Phantom Lord arc. Luckily, it continued due to its popularity which allowed it to become the well-loved series everyone knows. However, this also meant that many things were not planned and often things had to be made up on the spot. This fits with the anime's comedic tones, but it leaves things feeling somewhat random and inconsequential at times.

In stark contrast, Fairy Tail is quite light-hearted. There are, of course, many scenes with heavy emotional impacts. The anime deals with its own themes of loss and grief, with plenty of character deaths. However, Fairy Tail also has a habit of resurrecting characters soon after their deaths, which makes those moments of grief much less impactful. It feels like there are fewer consequences and things can be easily undone.

Due to its sci-fi themes, Edens Zero has an incredibly unique aspect of exploring all sorts of creative worlds. Each new world that the characters visit is distinctly unique, with so much creativity and personality that they're all memorable. This aspect of the anime in particular stands out as one of the best. Each time a new world is introduced there is a sense of excitement as viewers wait to explore the new landscape.

While Fairy Tail is also great with unique settings, much of the action takes place in one world. Apart from the Edolas arc. Part of this is because it takes inspiration from other shonen anime which often take place in one world. The pacing is also at play here, because arcs can drag out across a great number of episodes leaving the viewers and characters in one location for a long time. While in Edens Zero the pacing and the number of worlds to explore allow for locations to change often.

"In a land far, far away lies the kingdom of Fiore..." is of course the start of a speech every fan of Fairy Tail is familiar with. Many episodes start in this way, with a narrator who explains the basic premise of the anime and the world in which it is set in. In fact, throughout the show, there are many instances where information is given to the audience through exposition. There is much less of this in Edens Zero.

The director behind Edens Zero's anime, Yuji Suzuki, has died before the airing of the anime's final episode. The anime adaptation for Hiro Mashima's newest series ended its two cour run today in Japan, and rather than be able to celebrate, the official website for the anime had some unfortunate news to announce. According to the official website and Twitter account for Edens Zero, the director behind the series, Yuji Suzuki (who has also been credited as Yushi Suzuki in some projects) has died suddenly as of September 9th. This news took the staff by surprise as well.

If you wanted to see some of Suzuki's work in action with Edens Zero, you can currently find the first 12 episodes of the anime now streaming on Netflix. It's described as such, "It is the year X492, an age in which people freely travel through the universe. Rebecca, a video-creating B-Cuber, visits the robotic world of Granbell and meets a young man with special powers: Shiki, who's lived his entire life among machines. Soon Shiki is exploring the cosmos with Rebecca, encountering new places, people and things, and making friends along the way. Join in the adventure starting in 2021 on Netflix."

Edens Zero anime is adapted from the manga series by Hiro Mashima. If you are wondering why the anime artstyle looks so familiar, the creator of the manga is the same person behind the very successful Fairy Tail series. It even features the blue cat Happy from the popular series. Edens Zero manga came out in 2018 and an anime adaptation followed, which aired from April to October 2021. It was announced in February this year that the series will receive a second season.

People who have grown up reading the manga or watching the anime Fairy Tail know that it's basically got a twin. The manga and anime Eden's Zero has more than a few similarities, and fans are wondering if the two are connected. 17dc91bb1f
